Οk thank you First of all I'd like to say that at first, I hated poplio. Maybe the reason for that was that the other 2 starters of the 7th generation looked so awesome that they overshadowed it. Then while watching the anime ( Yeah I watch the anime! ) I came to like poplio but not that much as the other 2 starters! When I saw brionee, I was not impressed either. Then Primarina came. Primarina was good looking and when I saw her stats ( Yes HER stats! I can't imagine HER as a male) I was impressed. I then tried primarina in showdown and it did really well in my team. I tried the other starters too, but they didn't impress me that much. So primarina gained ground there! So yeah for the first poll I answered that I like using her. As for the second poll. I mean Delphox and primarina (especially primarina) look female to me. In addition, I am a fan of new pokemon and the idea of a merman water and fighting seemed really cool so I voted for the (probably) cool merman! So far the pokemon that have different male and female forms have impressed me. I mean Nidoking and Nidoqueen are awesome, Gardevoir and Galade too! So ... I guess you get my points!

Can we comment our thoughts here or we have to stick to the polls? I mean these topics for Pokemon fans are really interesting and through discussion we will be able to know each other better! If this topic is just about polls then sorry for posting here, but if that is the case then we shall start a new topic here for the club members!

Thank you! You made great points! In a few days we will be updating the starter sprites while adding some further details on them. Nah don't worry! You said your opinion and that is what a developer wants. If everyone was saying that the sprites were flawless without them actually being, then we wouldn't be able to tell that they needed a little more work. By the way, I didn't think your comment was rude in the first place!

Thanks but it will take some time since there are many things to be done. I hope you stick with us until the first release. It is a great Pokemon! I personally like it a lot too! So you don't like the sprites I personally thought they were decent... But ok there is always room for improvement and if we receive similar feedback then we will probably put some further work on the sprites.

I am also excited for your project! Let's do our best all of us! Well actually Light is also super effective against dragon and dark... But the good thing is that Dark is also super effective against Light I am glad you like it! What do you think of the other two?

Pokémon Glory Hello fellow Pokefans! I am Swamp King and together with Groniack we are working on a project called “Pokemon Glory”. This is an ambitious project since we are planning to create a whole new pokedex with fakemon so if we take into account the limited time both me and groniack have, the game will be progressing quite slowly. But we certainly aim to put lots of work on it. So let’s get to the main topic! In Ankor region, in a small town called Mamousian Town, our hero lives their life in peace while aspiring to be a great Pokemon trainer. The right time comes and the MC is free to realize their dream. But the Ankor region is not as peaceful as it seems. Many shady characters aim to achieve their goals not taking into consideration the consequences of their actions to the other world. But what happens when the aspiration for glory overshadows anything else? Is it worth it to become glorious while giving up everything else? A balance is a must in the world and the preservation of it is essential. What will the hero’s role be in the upcoming events? Another suggestion of mine! You could make a digital insect. This insect would be a "bug". It would cause havoc to programmers and every company would be afraid of them infiltrating their systems! I know this whole concept is a pun! But it is catchy in my opinion xD

I was really eager to see what you would do in this battle! These grunts completely ruined my team in my nuzlocke ... I couldn't beat them. It was game over for me here too.

In my opinion gyms aren't a necessity! You can pretty much do anything in your story without adding gyms and it still would be good. I believe we are adding gyms to our games for sentimental reasons. We have grown up with them and in our minds we believe that a pokemon game should emphasize on making the trainer the very best like none ever was! We have an established way with which we can define how the trainer can become the best (the pokemon league) and therefore almost any game creator is planning to add gyms in his/her game. This is a proof that we have not gotten bored of this idea but I believe many would enjoy a brand new experience in a Pokemon game.

This is so interesting! A pokemon fusion with the trainer is such a crazy idea! (in a good way). And I assure you that I would play the game just to see how this works! If you don't know already there is a manga called Pokemon Rebust! I'll give you a link to check it out: https://mangafox.me/manga/pocket_monster_reburst/ In this manga, people are fusing with pokemon in order to battle and it is very cool and I am dying to see it in a fan game! Maybe you can get some ideas from it who knows! Right now, as I understand the fusion would be something similar to mega evolution. They both happen once per battle and they both increase the power of the pokemon. What would you think if you were able to diffuse with your pokemon in the middle of the battle and like losing a turn? This way, you would be able to fuse with other pokemon too!! I don't know if you are a fan of this idea but it definitely interests me! As gron mentioned above and as it is in the manga I sent you, you would probably lose the battle if the trainer loses so it is something like high risk high gain in a sense! Either way, whether you like the idea or not, I am really interested in what you will come up with concerning the Pokemon fusion! I would definitely keep an eye in your progress!

I prefer a single well organized thread. I mean, I tried to post to some of your threads and then I realized that I had to find another topic in order to get what you are asking in the last one. I mean, if you had a single thread presenting all of the ideas you have thought up till now and constantly updating it, it would be easier for the readers to help you or post their opinions. You can make it somewhat like this. Name of the Game: ... Idea 1: ... Idea 2: ... . . . Idea 853: ... In each part you can write a few things (describing the idea and asking for the peoples' opinion) and ask the readers to post their replies like this: Name of the Game: What do they like, what do they not like, suggestion or approval of your idea Idea 1: same Idea 2: Same ... This way a merged thread would be organized and easy for the readers to see what your progress By constantly updating, everyone who is interested in your progress would have an easy time learning how the game progresses. Try to make each idea a separate matter or if some ideas are connected you should inform in advance the reader that he/she has to look at a previous idea in order to understand the concept and then reply! I would recommend to make all your ideas spoilers in order to let the readers decide to open whichever of your ideas is more appealing to them and allow them to reply to it. If they are not in spoilers then many of the readers will be discouraged to read the thread and thus you will not have enough feedback. Well this is just a suggestion of mine that I believe would work well if you decided in the end to make a single thread for your game! With hard work and cooperation of the readers, I believe this could work quite efficiently. As I said at first, I am in favor of a single thread for your game and I hope that you consider actually making it!

the pokemon that aren't picked aren't necessarily overlooked! I had a hard time picking a starter among magnemite nidoran and abra. I picked magnemite in the end but this doesn't mean that the others are bad choices. Maybe if there was a way to let people pick up to 3 pokemon, you would have a better understanding at what pokemon the fellow pokemon fans will probably enjoy using! I mean, this way only the pokemon that none would be using will be left behind!

I picked magnemite because it evolves twice as all the original starters do and has a great typing especially in the first stages of any game where many grass, poison flying rock, normal type pokemon appear. And later in the game, it becomes a monster that hits hard and can survive hits with sturdy! Magnemite is great! If it weren't for the double weakness to ground, I bet more people would pick it!

This is very interesting making the pokemon fans have a chance in playing a role in your game! Well as far as I am concerned, I'll go with this Trainer Name: Ted Trainer Type : A caravan leader or a lone wanderer in the deserts Favorite type, types or theme for a team: I' ll go with a desert themed team that relies in sandstorm. I really like Swampert and Gliscor and of course in a desert team a cacturne would be ideal! Ace Pokemon: Normally I would have gone with swampert, but in this case, i think the cacturne fits better. Character personality: He will be a man trying to make a profit out of anything. If you ever want a favor out of him, he will try to get as much as he cans from you. In addition, if he ever finds you vulnerable, he will even try to abandon you without fulfilling his promise of helping you. As for a sprite, I have created one as an example, you can use it as it is in the game or change it however you like (if you decide to add a character like this in the game). Just keep in mind that I will be probably using this sprite in a game I am planning to create!

While I understand some people saying that your game should have something original in order to stand out, I don't believe that if you don't have a feature unique to your game, it will not be enjoyable. In our world in order to make something we get inspiration from our surroundings which in this case are the official Pokemon games and the fan made ones. By combining the things that you enjoyed while playing them and adding your own character in the storyline, I am sure something unique will emerge! I really wouldn't mind playing a game with similar features as previous ones if the story is different. This is what happens in the official games too! I have played leaf green, soul silver, diamond and black2 and despite all of them following a similar script (8 gyms, elite 4, champion, evil team), all of them were a fascinating experience to me! If you put enough work and polish your game, it will probably become a good one! Of course, if you manage to find a unique feature never seen before in any other fan game and manage to make it fit in well with the rest of the game, then the result would be even better! But this is just a bonus, it is not a must. As far as the story you have presented goes, I really like it! I think it has great potential to become awesome. All the mystery surrounding the evil organization and the difficulties our hero will have to face will definitely keep me on my toes while playing the game. Usually I don't like the idea of a forced starter but in this case it makes sense since the twin sister will have the other vulpix. There is one problem though. As I have understood, the a-vulpix will have a major role in the story as Sofia will be emotionally tied with it. So what if someone decides to deposit it into the box? Will it not have an effect on the plot? When you said that the twins will be having the two vulpixes and then you said they got separated, in my mind came a scene where the twins reunite and so do their starter pokemon. You might not be planning something like this but if vulpix is to play a role in the story, you will have to be extremely careful not to allow the player abandon it.
