Cool! I bet I'll be picking the new grass starter if the design is of my tastes! Generally, I tend to enjoy using new pokemon so yours will have the upper hand!

Good to hear! I am very curious about the starters! Will they be grass, fire and water type or will they have a different typing? In many fan games you can pick from more than 3 pokemon. But, I guess, in most games that have fakemon as starters, only 3 starters are presented to the player to pick from. So what will be your approach?

Do you have any experience with spriting? I am saying this because if you are to include your own Pokemon in a game with preexisting pokemon, then you have to have mad skills in order to make your own fakemon not to seem out of place! And since you are planning to add 50 of them ... well, good luck with that!

Woah! So many losses ... Do yoy believe you can make it through the next gym with your current team? By the way I also started a nuzlocke for rejuvenation and I am pretty sure that this normal gym will destroy me! (At least there is no Slaking this time!) Either way! Keep up the good work! I really enjoy this nuzlocke! It is really fun to see pokemon I would never consider using, actually doing a good job! I may be doing a nuzlocke of my own and see what team I am ending with!

Very interesting! I will keep an eye on this project! While I cannot be part of your project, since I am busy with a project of my own, If you ever want to ask something specific, then I can help. For starters, do your best in understanding the basics of RPG maker and don't rush the project! Keep in mind that when you start mapping, you must have a clear idea of what you are planning to do with the specific map (What events will take place, how can you make the map appealing to the players, don't make the maps square but add many unique characteristics to it). Creating a game takes a lot of time (you will notice it too soon enough), but in the end, if you have fun doing it, it is worth it!

Hello everyone! Me and a friend of mine are thinking of making a Pokemon game with our own Pokemon. So we decided that it would be cool that we posted some of our sprites here for you to review them if possible. We are no experts at this and we are open to any kind of criticism. I will be posting one evolution line at a time for you to see. When we are satisfied about the reviews you give us, we will be updating this thread with new ones. Along with the designs we will be posting the name of the Pokemon, the typing and the ability! So without further ado, let's get started! So first comes the first normal type you will be encountering! That's it for now! We are waiting to hear your reviews and if this has any success we will be updating regularly!

That's an interesting topic! I hadn't thought too much about it up till now but I certainly repeat some things in numerous playthroughs I do! 1. At the start of the game I mainly use Pokeballs and when I buy them, I buy 10 of them in order to get a free premier ball. 2. I rarely buy medicine Items, I prefer traveling back to the Poke Center to heal rather than using medicine. 3. Before every boss battle, or when I have a feeling that a rival will emerge from somewhere and challenge me while I am not a t full strength, I save the game. 4. When I have enough money to spend, I buy super repels because they do a better job than max repels cost-wise. 5. When I lose a boss battle, I usually restart the game ... I know I am a sore loser but I can't help it. 6. I usually prefer to have as many types of pokemon as possible in my party so that I can deal with anything the opponent throws at me. 7. All of my pokemon in my party must be the same level! (they can have a difference of 2 levels maximum) 8. In most cases, when I have 6 pokemon in my party, I will finish the game with these 6 pokemon. 9. I always search for hidden items in places that seem suspicious. 10. Although I get the item finder, I never use it. I rely on institution to find the hidden items. These are the "traditions" I follow in my playthroughs that I can think of now. I bet that there must be more but I can't recall right now!

Well my first ever pokemon game I played was Diamond and as a new trainer I wanted to catch em all. So I started catching almost anything in the first routes. So I encountered a bidoof and thought it would be a nice addition to the team design wise. At start it was doing a decent job but as I moved ahead, it started performing poorly but I didn't want to move it to the box. So I found a different way it could help me in my adventure. So yeah, you probably already guessed it, I made it learn 4 HM moves and therefore, while not helping in battles, it became one of my greatest allies in the playthrough! P.S. Later I found out that many people did the same with their bidoofs - Bibarels and they were calling them HM slaves.

I'll go with Umbreon! It is one of my top 5 favorite Pokemon! In showdown Umbreon has led me to victory many times! It is such a good pokemon and cool looking too!

Well well! In my opinion fakemon are a refreshing experience. I like the idea of a game with fakemon, it is like you are a kid again, searching for new pokemon and learning about them in the process. This is definitely unique. But since you emphasize on adding your own pokemon, I would like them to be at least acceptable or I wouldn't play the game. The ones you have posted as examples are not bad. They are acceptable for my tastes. Well, in fact I really like some of them! If the story of your game is also good, I would gladly give it a shot. Well, there is always room for improvement for anything so, since your sprites are already decent, you can make them great later on. I hope you don't give up on your idea of creating this game. Who knows, maybe it will turn out great!

Hello everyone! My name is Theodore but you can call me Ted (or Swamp King like my forum's name). I have known of this forum for some time now but just recently I decided that I had to join. I have played most of the games of this forum (Reborn, Rejuvenation, Desolation) and I was shocked in a good way! I didn't believe that a Pokemon game could be this interesting! Now about me! I will start with my characteristics. I am a bit shy and polite but when I get comfortable with a person my personality changes and I start teasing them I enjoy watching anime (Pokemon was the first anime I've ever watched), playing sports, hanging out with my friends and some times when I have the inspiration I am secretly writing down ideas which I could use in creating a Pokemon game of my own (although I am not confident that I will actually make it in the end but I just do it as a hobby). Finally, I have to say that I am very proud that I made a friend of mine, who was making fun of Pokemon, to actually love them and in a duration of a year he has played almost all of the franchise's games That's it for my introduction! I hope I fit in well in this forum and possibly get to know you better and make friends with you! P.S.
