Yautja sees that the monk must be meditating and says "alrighty then, I'll move forward first" then he gets low sneaking to the corner of the corridor threw the door Yisan opened, his knife in hand for the silent approach

Yautja looks to the monk and says "you gonna lead the way? I suggest a scout approach"

Yautja follows along, making sure he doesn't miss any sign of goblin ambush or the prisoners

Yautja walks into the room and seeing the strange painting he gets ready for a fight, drawing out his Greatclub

Yautja enters the open room, my torch lighting it up as I explore the area in search for clues

Yautja walks out to where the others are and says "hey, mushroom hoppers, time to move on. We found our resident Witch"

Looking around at the strange blue flames and the symbol on the floor turn to the others and say "looks like weird magic to keep her contained...anyone know what to do?"

Yautja turns to the others and says "I think I've found her Andronous" then he steps in, holding the torch high so she can see he's not a goblin as he says "It is I, Osborn. I was sent to rescue those kidnapped by the goblins. Are you Zerriksa?"

Yautja walks up to the door, and slowly opens it whispering to the others "come on guys, what's the worse that can happen...well, besides more Drakes"....

Yautja hears the song of the bard, and takes a knee in rememberance of those who fell before, then he stands back up saying "I'm keeping my feet firmly planted thank you"

Yautja turns to the bard saying "thought baldy was goin in first, no matter" then Yautja pulls out a torch and lights it before entering, torch in one hand, Greatclub in the other. Once inside he looks around, paying close attention for any signs of ambush.

Yautja reaches his arm into the room, attempting to notice any form of temperature changes

Yautja takes his place near the front of the party, and moving close to the door he says "Baldy, wanna check this out?"

Yautja holds his chin as he contemplates the choices, before speaking..."Just so we are clear, to the north is the witch, though I would doubt she has any form of magic left for the time being. And to the west is the Castellan of the great Hall of valor. It's possible they would want him and his information on the items. Just as they may have confused our friend Andronis here for that dwarf we met at the bar, the one who fought in the war. So, those are the paths ahead of us."

I push the doors closed as soon as all three of the others have finished passing through, then I turn and look at them before shaking my head "Tell me you only went in for Richard and not those damnable eggs"

I head back into the room with the others, letting Ragash and Andronis close the doors, a defeated look upon my face as half the party is now gone.

Sadly Strauds realm is filled with cliches but it works because no one expects them. Also point out, that paladin went to each statue touching them all after the first granted one power. It's like....yeah, your asking for trouble now. PS. I'm that other dm lol, also it's the Ravenloft book for 5th edition. Game has been going on for quite a while now.

Sigh..... @Cronos5010, so I couldn't object in game due to my character not hearing the conversation. It's obviously late to object out of game. So instead my inquiry is simply this. Do you wish to be saved? @lifesapity, is his character savable? I know in game my character would do what he can to save the rest of the party and believe he is a lost cause. @Cool Girl, My character would try to save you first, he's pragmatic that way. Would you fight my attempt to pull you out of the hall, or would you relent? @DragonRage, your character is a craz

Yautja pulls both Baldy and Althea back behind the doors and says "Ragash! Andronis! Close the doors! Somebody tell me what happened!" As he tries his best to save the rest of the party from an equally gruesome fate.

I take the lead as we exit the room, heading back to the main chamber and making sure the alchemist doesn't step on the runes
