  1. Ignia looks between the two halls and the sign for a minute or so before Proditor decides to move along. "I've seen plenty of graves. I'm going this way." She gestured to the Judgement hall before starting to make her way to that direction.
  2. Sha'Tith looks around, his long lizard-like neck craning and stretching to get a good look at all sides. "This is quieter than the last time." He sort of stalks over to the chairs with quiet but extremely heavy footsteps. He glances at one of the small, human sized, chairs for a moment before turning to look at Stretch, Bianca, and the others. "My name is Sha'Tith, Slayer of Skyfaller, Survivor of the Red Plane." As he speaks flickers of reptilian tongue and rows of pointed teeth can be seen. He looks over to Artemis Fowl specifically. "Where are we to be sent this time?"
  3. Cell thinks for a minute while Soryn blasts the hole with lightning, he eventually seem to come to a conclusion and turns to leave the entry way of the ruin. Once outside he uses the new sticky substance on his hands to assist in climbing the outside of the building. Assuming he makes it to the top he'll then try to walk along the stone wall to the other side of the hole. Relevant bonuses: Gecko Rune: +3 to climbing/grip checks while active. 8 Str 12 Dex
  4. Ignia steps forward once it seems that Jun hasn't been instantly murdered and gives the room a cursory glance before shifting to look for another door and continue on. "We should press forward and try to find better barrings, there isn't any telling how far from the others we are. And yes I think we're trapped in here until we find out whatever that is and how to shut it down."
  5. "Oh Histoire sent you? You must be the outside help she mentioned before we left. I'm Nepgear and she's Uni, we're the Goddess Candidates for Planeptune and Lastation." "Judge was part of a group called the Arfoire Syndicate for International Crime. They tried to take over the world by killing the Goddesses and muscling into our nations and then use their power to summon the apocalypse and Deity of Sin." "We stopped them before, but I think we've lost some levels since then, and did you see his arm? What was up with that?" "Yeah, I have to admit one time I did nothing but paperwork and press interviews for a week and lost at least thirty levels." "The Deity of Sin was the one who revived Judge, Trick, Brave, and Magic last time they came back, but we sealed her away. I can't think of anyone else powerful enough to bring them back at full power." Nepgear shivered at the thought before taking notice of the several offers of healing. She glanced down and assessed her own wounds, and then look over to Uni. "Thank you for the offer, but this is far from the worst off we've been after a battle. We'll take some rest once we return to the Basilicom." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lyra makes a standard run-of-the-mill teleport over to- oh that's new, that's definitely never happened before. Lyra finds herself trapped between teleports for an unusually long time unable to actually do anything about it. Eventually she finds herself appearing in a mostly empty white room, a single plastic folding chair and small tv-tray are the only furnishings. A small projector sits on the tray pointed at one wall. Whether Lyra decides to sit or not the projector starts and plays back a recording of a woman going on to explain some mighty strange things. Something about world-eating monsters, multiple universes, and most importantly you having been recruited to help a group fight off these creatures. Once the recording is finished before Lyra has much time to actually sit and mull over her options the room suddenly dissolves into nothing and Lyra starts falling. Falling. Falling. A pale blue sky is starting to come into view, soft fluffy clouds and the smell of burnt wood, sulfur, and ozone in the air. More falling, the wind is really deafening now. For a split second Lyra manages to catch and glimpse of green and grey before impacting with the "ground". ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mira is minding her own business brooding, looking scary, and considering her next words when all of a sudden she finds herself in a familiar position from less than two hours ago. A woman unknown to her falls many many feet and lands directly on top of her, knocking her to the ground and generally making life difficult. Yet again neither party seems to have been hurt by the event.
  6. Cell sat off to the side for a moment, painstakingly trying to carve a simple rune into the dusty ground. Eventually he seems to have gotten it because he quickly stands up and watches and the rune sort of peels itself off the ground and floats upward. Energy gathers around it before a final crack of lightning drags it forward into Cell's "eye". As soon as he recovers Cell walks over to the wall and slams he hand down before looking at it curiously for a moment. He slowly pulls his hand back to reveal some kind of sticky substance having formed on the palm side. He shakes his head and hand and gives a silent sigh, not right at all.
  7. Ignia steps off to the side after passing into the Underground. She waves one hand in front of herself and summons up an archway of roiling black smoke, the interior of the archway is like burning metal, throwing off frequent sparks. Inside and beyond is a long tunnel, pulsing the same white and black as the barrier before and spiraling into infinity. Ignia waves at the structure again dismissively and it folds in on itself, popping out of reality. She then returns to the party. "Well I have good news and bad news. The good news is that we aren't were I thought we were, trust me that's a good thing. The bad news is that this place is like a blackhole of magic, and we're over the event horizon."
  8. As the party reaches the first bridge those that move over it find a strange force pulling down, no strong enough they can't escape, but strong enough they could walk on the bridge if they so choose. From this better vantage to the left in the small asteroid they party can see a desk, a chair, and a simple bed. To the right in the larger asteroid they can see rows and cabinets covered in lab equipment, several bookshelves loaded with books, and a host of odd machines. All of the furniture appears solid white, while many of the objects and machines do have some color.
  9. With a jarring thud the ship suddenly comes to a complete stop. An arm extends down from the ceiling of the ship with a glowing blue laser the traces out several odd shapes in the air. Slowly the shapes materialize into masks and tanks and one of the loaders moves to catch them as they drop, the loader then goes around offering them to various party members. "OXYGEN KITS WILL KEEP YOU FROM RAPIDLY DECOMPRESSING. TAKE ONE." A mechanical grinding can be heard from outside of the ship, and around the time everyone got their spacegear a loud hissing and sudden drop in pressure indicated they were about at that time. "CABIN PRESSURE DROPPING. PREPARE FOR LOW GRAVITY." The loader says this right as the front door opens and the cabin fully decompresses, those that took Oz-kits find them glowing to life supplying oxygen and a localized pressure bubble around the user's skin. As the party looks out they see two asteroids, the small one is about the size of a typical four bedroom house and the other is elongated twice that. Two long bridges built in a sort of steampunk-gothic architecture connect the asteroids and lead to hollowed out interiors, several copper reinforcements and smoke stacks appear in various almost random places around the asteroids. The smokestacks are spewing bluish fire that withers upon reaching space, yet still burns further than you'd expect. An eerie silence fills the void around you. Though the doorways seem mostly open some of you catch a glimmer of some kind of barrier over them, likely holding in an atmosphere. Inside the rooms are unnaturally white and clean.
  10. Stella begins to shift and blur for a moment before snapping back into position. She almost immediately comes to the horrifying realization that she is the nearest humanoid, not Jack. Now she's in the same position as before, only out of options and having just tried to cast a spell and Jack *knows* it.
  11. As the ships land Tim makes his way to the top deck, noticing the ample light and wasted energy he makes sure that his two Energy Collectors are situated in full sun. Sure this place was creepy and gave him a twisted feeling in his gut, but if he was ever going to stay afloat in all this he sure needed the extra resources. "What's a Godot anyway? Can I eat it? Can I sell it?" Tim aims his question aloud, but mostly at Law who seems to be the only person around at the moment.
  12. Ignia stands and watches the whole series of events with a relative calm, some of these people were certainly....eccentric, though was she really one to talk? She nodded at Proditor's explanation and thought to herself for a moment. She had her own suspicions of where it might lead and hoped she was wrong. None of these people would survive the Realm of Darkness, except for maybe the child and the doctor. "I think I've seen this kind of magic before. It's almost definitely a doorway, but finding out where it leads won't be easy without....you know." She gave a motion with one hand that sort of mimicked someone diving headfirst.
  13. Ignia stepped out of the bus with a noticeable clatter of armor, not quite as loud as Nader though. She stepped out and looked around, trees, plants, no wildlife. Strange. Whatever it was it was going to good working with a team again, it seemed like all her time lately had been spent on solo missions and training work. "I like this guy's plan." She pointed towards the heavily armored one, Nader if she remembered correctly. It would be best to layer more vulnerable team members in the middle of the group.
  14. Mechanical stomping can be heard approaching from outside only to stop just beyond the door, a quick click and whoosh signals the door's opening. A broad shouldered vaguely humanoid robot stands on the other side painted yellow and white like everything else. "PLEASE FOLLOW ME." It's tone isn't exactly pleasing to the ear and it's voice is obviously synthesized with little inflection. Those that follow quickly behind are led through several hundred meters of corridors while listening to what sounds less like a guided tour and more like a self advertisement for Hyperion corporation. Those that don't are quickly ushered out by several more loaders and made to follow anyway. The view through the windows is fairly nice at least, showing glimpses of a large planet below covered in orange/red soil and little water. Eventually you all make it to a large room with many ports and airlocks, nearby signs indicate it's some kind of docking site for maintenance shuttles. One port opens and you're all processed through the airlock into the ship on the other side. The interior of the ship isn't much to marvel at being primarily an empty metal box with seats along the walls, a few supply crates secured in the middle, and a terminal at the "front". "THIS IS AN ECHO DEVICE. IT ALLOWS FOR LONG DISTANCE COMMUNICATION. KEEP IT ON YOU AT ALL TIMES." With that the loader produces a number of devices that look like some kind of high tech tape recorder, at least they're small and fairly light. Eventually the loader activates something on the terminal then the ship breaks off and starts a slow drift towards wherever it is you're headed.
  15. Spicy HG lowers her guard just in time to see the Gashadokuro raising it's fists to attack Sorina, she dashed forward to strike with an attack aimed to hinder more than harm. Spicy HG uses Sealing Slash on the Gashadokuro dealing (2d10+10)*0.75 damage that cannot be reduced below 25%, the Gashadokuro is Skillsealed for two rounds and unable to use non-item actions because of it.
  16. You all awaken bleary-eyed and groggy of head, sitting or standing in a brightly lit room. Wherever you were before, that was then and this is now. A few nice(if somewhat cheap) chairs surround a large oval conference table and the whole room follows a white/yellow/polished metal color scheme with a couple artificial plants in the corner, a single door emblazoned with an "H" and a large window. Beyond the window is black starry void, with the occasional distant meteor passing by. A few seconds pass for everyone to catch their barings before a screen suddenly drops down in front of the window and flickers to life. A man wearing a sharp almost handsome mask appears on the screen fiddling with some kind of device on his shirt before turning back to someone off screen. "Is this thing even on? Hello?" He seems to come to the sudden realization that everyone in the room can in fact hear him loud and clear and turns back to face the camera. "Goooood morning sleepy heads, you might be wondering where you are and what asshole is talking to you through a monitor, both very good questions I don't really care about. All you need to know is that I had my lad boys pull you out of whatever life or death situation you were in and put you here, saving your lives and putting you in my debt in the process." "My name is Handsome Jack and now you work for me, do well and I'll make you rich beyond your wildest dreams, fail and I'll personally take a shit down your throat, chop you into little pieces, and feed you to a bunch of Skags. Do we have an understanding? What am I saying of course we do, who wouldn't want to work for me?" Jack's face is quickly replaced by several diagrams, one showing a giant "H" shaped space-station, and another that focuses in on a group of small asteroids held together with a sort of gothic like architecture of copper and stone. "Now your first task is going to be a bit of cleanup duty, ya'see this asshole scientist guy set up a whole bunch of secret labs on the space-station and surrounding asteroids. My loaders have already taken care of most of them, but there's one that's guarded by these weird goopy black things, that's why I'm sending you." Jacks face flickers back over the diagrams about halfway through his description. He turns back to someone off-camera with a questioning glare before he returns to respond. "One of the lab boys just reminded me I should mention you're all from different worlds and that you shouldn't panic or kill eachother on sight. Whatever, the loaders will be there shortly to escort you to a ship." The screen dies down and quickly retracts back up into the ceiling.
  17. Uni uses a Healing Circle on herself, Nepgear, Iowa, and Mira healing them all for 10 HP each. Atton heals himself and Iowa once more for 18 HP and removing Iowa’s stun. Iowa’s main guns come to bare. Fire rains down on Judge for 22 damage and secondary explosions deal another 22. Judge is Concussed. Bridgett floods the battlefield with excessive burning energy that deals 139 damage to Judge and the surrounding trees, leaving smoldering ruins all round. Judge heaves as he falls to the ground in burning armor. “IMPOSSIBLE, YOU CAN’T KILL ME.” He looks up to the sky over the forest with fear. “Wait no- we had a deal! WE HAD A DEAL!” The party feels a sinister presence as Judge’s Trespasser infected arm quickly overtakes and devours the rest of his body, leaving only a glowing point of interest where he once was. Final Status: Loot: Uni and Nepgear breathed a sigh of relief as Judge fall to the ground, they both quickly changed in flashes of light. Uni's hair turns from white to black and they both appear in much more "normal" short dresses, they also both look far more exhausted than before. "Oh dear I don't think that's going to be good at all." "Yeah, what was up with him?" "Anyway thank you all for your help but, who are you?"
  18. Aquila rounds the corner to see Frigus standing with a woman roughly as tall as him and wearing similar dress(at least in the sense that it could've been made in the same place) albeit reddish browns and blacks instead of grey and blue. She has dark hair up in a pony tail and almost bronze colored armor plates under her clothes and over her left arm. "Hey Aquila, I figured someone would come see what was going on. I didn't imagine it'd be you though." Frigus gestured to the person standing next to him, who acknowledged Aquila's presence with a nod. "Meet Ignia, she's from the same place I am and she's going to be taking my place in the team for a little while while I deal with some....stuff at home."
  19. Tim digs into his bag and hands Leo a piece of soft brown coal, then he sort of shifts around in place thinking for a moment. "I could imprint it, but it would take a very long time and may not work right at all. You see the more complex something is the longer it takes to process without skipping steps. Pure iron is easier to create than iron ore or steel for example. Life...life is complex, if you want it to stay alive it takes even longer. You have to record the state and position of each and every cell uniquely, lest it break down from decay in only a few minutes. It's why my magic doesn't play nice with Thaumaturgy."
  20. Tim wanders in, having heard that he was needed to imprint something. As soon as he steps in the room he makes his way over to look at the thing trapped in the case, before deadpanning. "What kind of unholy eldritch abomination are you working on today?" He looks at it a little closer, before turning around with a slight flash of disgust. "I hope this isn't what you brought me here to copy."
  21. Theme: Uni uses Multi-support on Iowa and 6D, increasing their Str by 7 and granting 7 DR vs physical damage for two rounds. Atton performs more miracles, healing machines by telling them they’ve got flesh wounds. He heals Iowa and 6D for 17 HP each. Bridgett keeps charges and burning herself alive. She takes 20 damage. Iowa chugs along her merry way, gaining another 10 Init and 2 stacks of Evasive Maneuvers. Perlita blast Gabriel with healing energy, restoring 51 HP. So close. 6D gets ready to do more tanking for the squishies. Her pod hopelessly blasts Judge’s shield for 3 damage. Gabriel launches another attack on Judge, dealing 28 damage to his shield. Sun Arcana fizzles and deals 6 damage. Judge slams his hammer into Iowa and sends her crashing into the nearby boulder. She takes 32 damage and is Stunned. Action Surge triggers! Judge’s off hand lashes out, slashing at Iowa for 26 damage and healing himself! Nepgear heals Bridgett for 30 HP. Punch screams more, need a glass of water? Mira heals herself for 26 HP. CFW Judge's shield holds, he takes no damage! Init: Status:
  22. Right around the time Leo and Frigus's conversation had petered out a flash of light could be seen outside the ship through the control deck window. A small craft made of brass, bronze, and black iron with a prominent horizontal strut, a standing platform, and several smaller support struts. Carrying only one rider in red and bronze armor very similar to Frigus's own armor. "That's me, I'll see you around some other time then?" With that Frigus turned and walked out of the room, down the hall, and to the nearby airlock. A gentle thud resonates through the uppermost levels of the Weatherlight as Ignia touches down on the outer deck. One might also recognize the sound of an airlock cycling shortly afterwards and decide to come see what's going on.
  23. "Sure." Tim poked through his bag only to remember the closest thing to wax he had was Petroleum Jelly. He pulled out some wool and the tin of jelly. "If you're that worried about the sound this is all I've got, but I wouldn't bother with it."
