  1. Sup I'm looking for some battles. Message me and we can arrange a time. Username: Panther-T Timezone: EST Availability: Most evenings (past 7:00 PM). Rules: I'd prefer to play by smogon rules and would like to play UU. However I don't care too much so if these restrictions are not possible that's fine.
  2. Let's battle if you're down

    1. Filthy Casual

I'll PM you in a bit. About to battle someone else.

Alright, PM me when you are done.

  3. Yea I can work with that Azumarill. I hatched a modest one. Here's a screenshot. Respond here when you are coming on and we'll trade.
  4. Yo, I can give you the Froakie for the Azumarill. I can either get a Timid one (will take around 20 min from now) or give you a naive one that has gunk shot. Your choice.

  5. I can give you a Naive (+speed, - spdef) one with gunk shot if you'd prefer as well.
  6. I can get you one. Will take me an hour or two to breed, though. I would like to have the Azumarill in return.
  7. Yea, I'm down. Write on my wall or message me!
  8. Hey, I just remade this thread into something else because you can only have 1 trade thread open at once. Unless the mods can close this thread, I'll just use it for future trading.
  9. It's one of those mons that is really not self-sufficient and especially not so when it is not EV trained or given a good movepool.
  10. Fair enough, sorry if this response seemed a little bit off putting. To answer properly, I'd remove priority attacks because it'll impact things less than removing other aspects
  11. None, each have a role in competitive Pokemon. Stall and more bulky teams heavily rely on status conditions in conjunction with entry hazards to whittle away the opponent. Removing these will completely invalidate a playstyle. Removing type matchups will remove way too much strategic depth of competitive Pokemon (predictions, team composition and synergy, and general type knowledge) to be worth doing. Doing this will remove any competitive Pokemon scene, both VGC and Smogon. Removing stat boosting invalidates so many important Pokemon (Volcarona, Dragonite, Gyarados, Salamence, etc.) and, again, dumbs down the game by removing a strategic component. Removing priority moves will make offensive teams too hard to deal with, as many builds rely on priority to revenge kill certain threats (i.e. Mega Pinsir vs. a boosted Volcarona). Overall, implementing these ideas will ruin the competitive aspect of the game, and as such I would rather choose to keep each intact.
  12. Here are the best location: HP Azurine Island: you can easily farm Amoonguss, Foonguss, Gastrodon, Shellos, and Seismitoad. Especially fast if you interact with the pokeballs (Amoonguss). ATTACK Route 1: Farm the Bouffalant, gives you 2 attack EVs. DEFENSE In the cavern under the grand stairway, farm wild Geodude, Sandshrew, and Gravelor. All have a high encounter rate and yield 1-2 EVs. SPECIAL ATTACK Abandoned power plant: Bring honey and kill Magnemites that spawn. Not the fastest, but the most consistent special attack training. SPECIAL DEFENSE Azurine Lake: wild tentacool have a very high encounter rate here; gives 1 sp.def EV each. SPEED Underground railnet: kill the woobats on the black spots. Move between locations to respawn the woobats.
  13. Hey mate, thanks for the response. I can trade you a Piplup if that is alright with you. As for the razor claw, feel free to attach it to anything you feel like.

  15. I'm currently looking for the following Pokemon: Mincinno, Tyrogue, Chimchar, Hawlucha and Skitty. Any nature or IVs is fine. ---------- I am willing to trade 4-6 IV Pokemon. Currently, I have 4-6 IV Eevee, Zubat, Timburr, Solosis, Nidoran, Corphish, Litwik. If you want something other than these Pokemon, let me know and I will see what I can do, but bare in mind that since I breed these, it will take a day or two. Respond in this thread or leave me a message if interested!
  16. Hey, you wanna battle? My IGN is Panther-T

  17. Welcome! When you do have a team though I'd love to battle
  18. Ah well that changes everything. I'd run some power boosting item, so an iron or spooky plate over a life orb (you can mine those) and still run the swords dance set with shadow sneak and sacred sword (ghost+fighting has perfect neutral coverage). As for EVs, max HP max attack should be fine for in-game (speed tiers don't matter as much).
  19. There are a lot of viable options for Aegislash, but here are the two best sets. SD Sweeper Aegislash @ Life Orb Ability: Stance Change EVs: 172 HP / 252 Atk / 84 Spe Adamant Nature - Swords Dance - Shadow Sneak - Iron Head / Kings Shield - Sacred Sword The EVs allow you to outrun uninvested base 70s, and the aim of this set is to use your great defensive typing to setup a swords dance and sweep with priority shadow sneak+fighting type coverage. Sub-Toxic Aegislash @ Leftovers Ability: Stance Change EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 SpD (or any modification of this, I prefer specially defensive) Calm Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Substitute - Toxic - Shadow Ball - King's Shield This set's purpose is to annoy the hell out of nearly every special attacker (or you can run a physically defensive spread if you'd like) as it can wall nearly any Pokemon that cannot hit it super effectively, and stall them out with toxic+king's shield. Substitute allows you to take advantage of forced switches and lets you fire off more toxics, and shadow ball is so that you aren't too passive and complete setup fodder.
  20. Here is a high quality ORAS UU game I had with a friend of mind. We both bring bulky offence. His biggest threat is DD Gyarados to my team, and looking at his team my main win condition was my scarfed Celebi (spamming psychic late-game). Momentum is on my side for the most part up until turn 37 where I misplay. If sacked my Sylveon that turn (hard switched into it), I won 100% as I could kill something with leaf storm from Celebi or weaken Swampert with psychic to the point where extreme speed from Entei won; it also covered the obvious switch to Swampert. Unfortunately, I misplayed and sacked Celebi without realizing that I needed it to cover Swampert+Beedrill, which lost me the game. Ultimately, it was a very close and fun game, hope you enjoy! http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen6uu-619551376
