After using discharge, you'll either get the message 'SYSTEM ONLINE' or something else right? So then, when dealing the fatal move, you need to make sure that that move gives you 'SYSTEM ONLINE'. The system will then stay online, even after the battle. Then you can interact with the machine successfully If you don't have a Pokémon that knows discharge, you will have to defeat electrode after he's done discharge and you got the message 'SYSTEM ONLINE'. I believe the system will stay online then

Was that message the last one shown when you defeated it? Because if it wasn't there's the chance that it turned offline again before finishing the battle. Your finishing attack needs to bring the system online

Mine has to be The Witcher 3. It was the first pc game I played (I used to play on my ps3) on my own pc and I fell in love the moment I started playing. And of course, as the story progressed, I fell more and more in love. When I finished the (main) story, I even felt a bit (I may even say incredibly) sad and empty... It also convinced me to start reading the books and I also enjoy those a lot. It makes me understand the game more too.

I believe you need to defeat the electrode and make sure the power, or whatever it is, is turned on by an attack when you defeat it. Then you should be able to 'talk' to that machine

It's kind of scary to see how much I resemble my dad when he was my age. I really am a clone. If someone told me I'm looking at myself, I would probably believe him/her, were it not for the old-fashioned clothes etc.

But what happens until you don't have a full mono team? I mean, let's say I choose to do a ghost run, it will probably take several gyms before I have an entire ghost team right?

That sounds challenging and I think I would like it, but I kind of suck at playing strategically at the moment, so I would have to learn that first. After that, I will most likely consider doing a monorun!

Thanks, everyone. I considered doing a new run because I've only ever done one... And I wanted to know if it would make a difference, but it seems it doesn't. So now that that's settled, I'll probably pick Treeko as a starter

@Inactivity I should definitely try that once then! And like you said, garlic can sting awfully, so best be careful when you have any small wounds/cuts.
One thing that helps against the stench of garlic is chewing on parsley, mint, drinking tea, coffee beans, such kinds of things. I am yet to try it though but from what I've read it should get rid or at least try to get rid of the smell

@HongaarseBeer97Cleaning your tongue more extensively can also help, even if it sounds odd to write it like that on the internet. Other than that, the next best thing I could think off probably is chewing gum. I don't think parsley would help, and coffee beans..? I didn't like coffee to begin with, haha, but perhaps it's something that would work. Who knows.
