It's predetermined when you create your save file. So there's no use resetting. The game knows which Pokemon you'll get from the egg

For the maximum happiness, you can stuff him/her with pokesnax and check with the salon girls to see how happy he/she is. And like Dypatome mentioned, it needs to know a fairy move

I don't believe it's available as a tm yet, but you can visit move-tutors. Some pokemon might be able to learn it via a move-tutor

Yes, I believe the police officer that gives you the egg got removed in ep 16, so you could try to revert to ep 15 and get the egg, but I don't know what you should do in order to make that succeed.

Yes, I did exactly so. The moment I saw Samurott I was hoping I would get anything in that line, and when I saw Oshawott I got reminded of when Cain got his. Samurott looks badass though!

Have you received that glass ball yet? The one you get from helping the Spoink. After you've done so, you go to Jasper ward. There somewhere on the right you'll see two people standing on top of a roof. After you fight them and go inside, you'll get the 'R' Key. As for the lighthouse, I'll look for some diving spots and check out his hint Yes I've found him!

Thank you! That didn't come to mind at all, but now that you've mentioned it: the guy with the Klefki of course I meant the woman to whom you have to give the glass ball, the clairvoyant. You are free to give me a hint about the lighthouse key, though...

After having talked with the medium she gave me the 'R' key. I immediately went to 7th street to see if this would finally open that damned house, but it didn't. Then I checked the diving spots near Apophyll beach, but I didn't see anything new/else than the Sunrise, Fairview and King... houses. It also isn't the key to the lighthouse. So I'm kinda out of ideas about things that I haven't opened yet right now A hint is appreciated

Oh, my bad, I thought there was still a chance of random egg moves being taught, but I guess that only works in the normal series then? (if it works at all, I'm anything but an expert when it comes to breeding...)

I believe Brave Bird is an egg move, so regardless of whether or not the parents know Brave Bird, the baby can still have Brave Bird as an attack at lvl. 1
