Aquila shrugs and puts his flail on his belt for now. After a bit of looking around he approaches the girl and talking square. "Greetings, I'm Aquila. You seem to know something about the shield... "Doctor" Doom so graciously granted to me? Or at least what he used to make it." -
Arminius stops blocking his face (though with his jacket zipped as it is his face is still half covered) and runs over to the confrontation between his teammates. After some thought as to how to go forward he goes to help the Samurai up. Fingers is standing by in case Mirri comes back, as much help as that would do. "For fucks sake, what happened? I only caught a bit about corpses and... what the hell!?"

Aquila likewise makes himself ready to fight the lizard, his shield raised and his flail at the ready.

Aquila quickly equips the shield, nodding to Doom and thanking him profusely.

Aquila steps away from the others before clearing his throat to speak to Doom. "I uh.... dropped my shield before you took us, do you happen to have one I can borrow? Also, I assume you're sending us elsewhere?"

Aquila was more than a little confused by the present turn of events. It kind of was giving him a headache. Or maybe that was the man shouting at him about weakened worlds and trespassing. "Not to be rude sir, but could you not shout? It's kind of giving me a headache.... And uh, could you explain what you mean by other worlds?"

Arminius whispers so he can just barely be heard. "We can't trust any of these people, human nature to give up info if someone scary asks."

Arminius was silent, not knowing exactly how much these people could get from anything he says. He did shoot a look that says "Don't talk to them" towards Calvera.

Upon seeing the crowd, Arminius had covered most of his face with his coat. The bits of his expression that could be seen are less that pleased.

Arminius looked quite surprised at Calvera's display but eventually went to being casually nonplussed as the warnings kicked in. He goes over to speak to the woman. "You know, in hindsight it makes sense that you can do that with the whole "star in human form" thing. Anyways, they just overacted Bandit, would have thought they'd have the equivalent to Dwarven architecture in a room for testing potentially dangerous powers..."

Sherrif didn't respond, he was busy checking himself for holes. After making sure he was hole free he shrugged at the question. "I lost... Welp, I'll see y'all later." With that the sherrif walks to find that alien girl.

"I mean, it's not very powerful magic I was using there. In fact, if it wasn't for being augmented by a lilim I wouldn't be able to do magic at all. Human souls lack the oomph to use magic unassisted... well I assume you don't call it magic here but... I'm getting off topic, point is that the cantrip I was using exerts more of a spiritual force than a physical one. The dropping was just a result of the bonds just kind of... giving up. Uh, for example if I was against a human opponent they'd either be on the ground sobbing or would have just up and died. Uh... oh, something to look at since I've always wanted to see if the results could be given an exact measurement, is applying the effect in the opposite manner. That is, making people better at stuff. Admittedly the version I'd use is completely mundane but applying magic makes the results... similarly impressive. Anyways, just offering to end on a less disappointing note than me just walking off since my previous ability isn't very helpful." Arminius shrugs, not really having much to offer that he could show off without freaking people out apparently.

Arminius slumps as he realizes he needs to put on a repeat performance. With a sigh he shakes himself out to get himself hyped up. Finally he begins to lay into the block with a rant similar to the one he gave the dummies, though this time it has more insults towards the protectorate personnel in the room.

Arminius would spend some time inspecting the dummies for any imperfections. After making a mental list of the traits he'd be insulting he launches into his "routine", the runes seen when he collected Squealer glowing brightly. "Oh, they send a bunch of dummies like you to test me on my damage capabilities!? I'm the leader of a fucking squad of saboteurs, I think I know a bit more about what damage is then whatever your "sensors" can tell any of the incompetent fuckwits in this base! I have blown so many holes in the best bases the paladins had to offer, I could take down even this sea base with a can of beans and a pound of blast powder. Why, you aren't even made of a sturdy material like wood, you're all soft and weak! Fingers could break you into lit bits, and she's barely tall enough to act as a table for my dick! I've fucked things that would make any other man piss his pants with fear! And some overmuscled fuck with a stupid code name, and this is a world filled with them if Soma is anything to go off of, thinks that I need my capabilities tested!? If you lot don't drop right now, I'm going to beat you all so hard that not even the best dwarven smith could get you working again!" The dummies look fine physically until he finishes. Then they fall to the floor, sensors reading something along the lines of "Shit's fucked yo". Arminius looks to Genius and just kind of shrugs.

Arminius steps up to testing area. "Hope you don't mind me going first, my abilities only work in damage testing so I'm gonna be quick."

Arminius shrugs and falls in with the power testing group.

Arminius looks at Squealer as well. Then he switches to Soma again. Mini looks between them before shrugging. Arminius looks to the Mini one more time before looking to Soma. "You know, I get the feeling that this is something you really should have told me before it was a problem."

Arminius side eyes Soma before shrugging and turning to her. One way or another he's going to get that info since it's rather important. "Then you'll explain it later?"

"Ah, I thought she was upset about something on my forms. Already had some other people in the group get upset about my powers so I thought it could have been that." Arminius lightens up slightly, but this was actually him finding out what about his papers set off the office lady.

"... Where did she go?" Arminius doesn't like people looking at his papers and leaving the room without a word. It's always bad.

Arminius sighs and holds his hands out for the forms. "Alright, you dictate the answers and I'll right it down. Okay?"

Arminius shrugs which makes his shoulders pop. "What is it you need help with specifically? Do you not know how it works, do you not know how to write the language...?"

Roberts was a bit nettled at the attitude of the other captain. Especially since he seemed to not have a grip on common intelligence tactics that have been used since WW2. "Well Gio, let me ask you something. Have you seen the strawberries for yourself?"
