Arminius smirks at that. "What do you want to see? We have Mirri's ship near by, we have the guys working on the boats, we have a star in human form. Hell, I can summon up a minion based on that Squealer chick we smashed two days back right now." -
Sheriff shrugs. "Yeah, pretty much. You get throw into a duel and try not to die... Oh man, I can't wait till I get thrown in with the guy in a stupid coat." Sheriff chuckles to himself at the thought of it.

Aquila's smile widens. "Well, given my purpose for this is to prepare for tomorrow that would probably be best. Of course ranged trickery would be a bit unfair to my anyways given my utter lack of options beyond "try to block it"." Aquila shrugs. It wasn't like it was a new or important shortcoming.

Aquila looks at Vitor. Then he looks at Stellio. After a moment he claps a hand on the other knight's shoulder. "Well, drawing a quick comparison... I think we should spar and have Vitor officiate. Seems like it would be a more worthy challenge, eh?" Aquila smiles at Stellio.

Aquila rubs his chin in thought. "First of all, that is impressive. Second of all, Zarya sounds like my commander. Anyways, if you're sure I suppose we could do it."

Aquila scratches the back of his head. "... I... I don't know. I think I forgot with all the masked men running around." Aquila pauses, perhaps to consider the irony of the statement. Then he shrugs. "Well, I won't say no to the help but uh... are you really sure about that? I mean, I can probably do push ups with you on my back about as easy as I did with the necromancer."

After a while, Aquila walks up to Vitor since it's his place. "Hey, do you have a place to practice hand to hand combat? I have a duel tomorrow and I wanted to practice." From Vitor's point of view, a shirtless man with a sweet eagle tattoo and scary facial scars he hasn't seen before that sounds kind of familliar has come up to him and started talking.

Arminius just sort of followed the group of people heading towards the meeting. As he passed the burn mark he nearly cringed before recovering his composure. He turns to answer the doctor's question. "Well, considering we're in Merchant territory, and considering that we may have done something to anger them, I'm thinking it might have been the Merchants."

Arminius doesn't quiver quite so much, but he doesn't seem really okay.

Sheriff nods. Sakuya hears a thump as Sheriff realizes that she can't see him before responding verbally. "I don't even remember the world I'm from... but yeah, I'm a newer arrival. Gotta admit, the portals never took me here before..."

Arminius doesn't look okay, considering he's kind of crying and in the fetal position. She may be reminded of the conversation earlier where he talked about paladins burning stuff and the distant look that came upon him.

Aquila nods before wandering off to look for someplace to practice Hand to Hand combat. He notes that in hindsight Sha'Tith kind of had the advantage here.

Sheriff shrugs as he follows. So many people with weird names around here. "I'm just the Sheriff, so that's what people call me."

Sheriff nods. "Yes, that'd be great miss...?"

Arminius is frozen still for a few moments. Then he lets out what may be the most undignified whine someone has ever heard from an adult man that week as he crumples to the ground, bad memories coming up.

Aquila nods. "Alright, I'm probably gonna keep getting ready for that duel tomorrow. Normally don't fight without armor and weapons so I'm a bit rusty."

Sheriff tipped his hat. He didn't want to seem to pissed off about fucking everyone in this town being as unhelpful as possible. That would just be rude. "Yes ma'am, about this tall, dresses up like one of those little grey men?" He gestures to show about Nibiiro's height.

Aquila pauses. After a moment he nods. "Kind of forgot you were there. Sorry!"

Aquila nods. "That could help, but you can apply your powers with hitting people better. After all, getting punched is bad, but getting punched with fire is worse."

Aquila pauses as Nyx runs by. He nods his head in the kitten's direction. "Yeah, found her in the swamp, abandoned and well... you know how it is, so I'm raising her."

"And besdies, the important part of a body is the soul, and that goes to their resting place when they die anyways. Anyways, enough about that... you got any pets?" Aquila says, trying to make the conversation lighter.

"You were a star. Now you're closer to a human. And sometimes humans need to prepare for rare circumstances like being unable to access powers."

"Hey, if you ever can't use them for some reason you'll wish you had done some exercises." Arminius says, pointing to Calvera.

Arminius shrugs. "Probably not. It'll make you yourself stronger but I'm not a wizard. I don't know magic training stuff."

"Aw, it isn't like you're doing anything really weird with the bodies. Hell, Jesus resurrected people and people where I'm from worship the guy. Just because you don't bring them completely back isn't that creepy in comparison. Hell, that by itself is a miracle!"
