Aquila looks to be thinking hard. He looks kind of mind blown.

Aquila stares at the man. "So.... how do you make your ballista fire shot that small that fast?"

"It's having sex, the way humans reproduce, for money. Normally they also wear protection so no one actually gets pregnant of course, unless someone pays A LOT of money. People do it because it's fun by the way... anyways, nothing wrong with it if everyone consents. Hell, I was a prostitute for a bit, but forcing people into sex and stuff is very bad." Arminius waggles his finger as he finishes off.

"Maybe. People aren't good at reevaluating threats though. Besides, they kidnap people to force them into prostitution." Arminius takes off his jacket as he walks.

"They were going to shoot us. They can deal with it themselves." Arminius shrugs as he follows Calvera in.

Arminius nods, already in thought. "Well, from now on we aren't leaving the base unless it's necessary or it's late at night. People will be looking for us after that."

Fingers chases the merc, not giving up yet. "Through the back Calvera. And we're going to have a talk about this later." Arminius runs for the back door.

Just fucking run. If he weren't about to die he'd note that that wasn't very honorable.

Arminius Inspires Fingers. "If you knock him out you can have him after I interogate him!" Fingers lets out a greenskin warcry (Da Little Waagh) And leaps forward to beat him unconcious.

"Try not to kill him, we might as well make him useful." Arminius hops behind the bar, using it as cover now. Fingers rushes the table, using the Merc's cover against him.

Arminius smiles guiltily before finally whispering in a voice Calvera can barely hear. "You remember those wrecked vans and stuff we got? We uh... kind of ambushed a Merchant drug running operation... Oh wait, I have a big gun now. This'll be a bit more even. How about this, you blind him and then we shoot him while running? Minimize our exposure to danger AND he'll probably bleed out and die."

Arminius is staring at the back of the bar, pretending to be casual. He saw the man. He didn't want to but he saw him. He whispers to Calvera. "I think he's talking about me. So, what we're gonna do is we're gonna sneak out of here... or just bolt when he notices us. Okay?"

Arminius looks down at his booze before turning to Calvera. "Drinking mostly. I also like petting animals... or animal people I suppose. Feels about the same, you know?" He thinks for a bit more. "... Also just laying my head in someone's lap."

Arminius nods, silent. If would seem that Bandit has not just touched a nerve, but smashed it with a wrecking ball before dowsing it in gasoline and setting it on fire.

"Yeah, it takes some getting used to but it won't get you drunk quickly. As a word of advice, if someone gives you something that tastes good and is colorful at a place like this... or worse, tastes kind of off and is colorful, they're trying to get you drunk and you should be careful. Always go to bars with a friend unless you're fine with waking up to a mistake." Arminius wags his finger as he gives this sage advice. One gets the feeling he may be biased against drinks with strangers though. "Anyways... technically the lands I hail from are in control of the Reich... which means it's populated by racist assholes who think that people should die just because they're different... Well in theory. I'm proud to say that my team with the help of those who couldn't leave but are resisting from within we've successfully interrupted the Reich's hold of the area among other things. The people tend to be fairer skinned with simpler clothes. And, well, I mean, they tend to look and sound like me. The monsters there were there... before the Reich... tended to be ones that lived in forests, plains, and mountains. So you've have dwarves, Elves, all manner of werecreature... Holstaurs and the occasional minotaur... Domovi and Kobolds..." Arminius stops suddenly, staring straight ahead. After an uncomfortable amount of time he turns to the bartender and orders a something strong. Sake perhaps.

Loadout As what is apparently a Shugoki stepped on his chest, Aquila did the only thing he could really do. He grabbed his flail in two hands and swung it up into the other man's balls with the force of a man possessed. Mark the Pig and attack his balls. If that works run away. If not, do it again.

Agiliulf taps his bottle against his chin in thought. After a bit he shrugs. "Well, right now there's four important countries. To the south you have the various... queendoms I guess? They're ruled by pharaohs... anyways they're pretty much all desert so you don't want to go through them without monsters to guard you. They're directly at war with the Reich and are allied with Zinpangu and the North. The people there are nice, tend to have darker complexions... lots of linens and precious minerals used in the clothes there. Uh... oh, the native monsters are sphinxes, cat girls with a thing for riddles.... Mummies, Zombies wrapped in cloth badically... Anubises- no, Anubi? Whatever. Basically Jackal girls with the biggest boner for manegment... Kephri, bettle girls that... actually, I have no idea what they do. Then there's the Pharaohs that run the kingdoms. Also don't know much about them... oh, and Apophises. Purple Lamia that make potions and are apparently rivals of the pharaohs." Arminius takes a drink, giving Calvera time to speak.

Arminius takes a long drink from his beer, (A Guinness according to the label) before turning back to Calvera, tilting his bottle towards her. "That's a pretty broad topic. Anything you want to know about specifically? The people for example, or the areas I've been to."

Arminius orders two beers, a darker brew for himself and a light one for Calvera since he doesn't know how she'll like it. Or if the alcohol does anything weird.

Aquila nods. And then starts running away towards Nader like he does this a lot. Hm...

Aquila does something that is most likely unexpected to Sha'Tith. He gets up in his face, arms outstretched. The others looking at them would note that he was on his tip toes to do it. But still he gets up in the lizards face as best he can. "I accept your challenge. No tricks, no weapons, no armor, at the dawn of tomorrow then?" There's not an ounce of fear in Aquila's voice. He's been in plenty of duels before (though usually he had weapons and armor) and just because his opponent was bigger, and probably tougher, and... it suddenly occurs to Aquila that this may have been a mistake. Oh well, to late now.

Aquila turns to the Terror knight and after a few moments nods. Then he looks to Sha'Tith and shrugs. "So you're saying that your homeland's enemies have to beat themselves up for you to have a chance? That's sad, my homeland fights their enemies at full strength. And both of them at the same time." One gets the feeling that Aquila is smirking.
