Roberts switches to a channel just for the team. "Be careful guys, his ship isn't as shitty as it looks. Pretty common for pirates in these kinds of... uh nevermind." Roberts fires his 60MM cannon at the pirate.

Sheriff asks around about the girl.

Aquila makes a noise affirming he heard her. "Yeah, I've been kind of worried about it. Of course, I'm happy I can still fight effectively. But sometimes you kind of want people to look at you and not feel scared, ya know? ... nevermind actually. You're an attractive person you wouldn't have to deal with that kind of thing."

"Yeah, exercising. Like doing push ups and stuff. It'll make you stronger. Here, let me go over a quick exercise routine for you." Arminius does in fact go over an exercise routine for Bandit that she could do in the warehouse.

The lack of weight is quite apparent as Aquila gets to work. Still he appreciates it. "By the way, you don't think my scars are really scary right?"

Aquila gets on the floor in position to do pushups. "Just need you to kneel on my back. Normally I'd have someone heavier but I figure I'll end off lightly."

Aquila pauses. After a bit he flips the eyepatch down. "We should save it until we can be a bit more sure about it. Or if I'm really desperate... Anyways, wanna give me some help for this last exercise I'm doing?" Nyx chases around the laser pointer in a way that one would expect from a cat. It is, needless to say, Ridiculously cute.

Aquila stares at her for a moment, not quite understanding what she meant. After a bit he makes a noise of understanding, flipping the eyepatch up to show his golden eye. "Of course, Got it made out of loot I stole myself. Not like Gold it very useful after all."

"Well, it should probably be something of little value... Like a really pretty rock?" Arminius pauses to adjust his eyepatch, a glimmer of gold appearing under it.

"Don't those old stories normally have things like that needing something like, significant to anchor the soul down? I mean, I imagine it's like holy relics where there's a bit of something in anything significant to a person... And if worse comes to worse there might be someone here that has an idea about how to make it work. If they can make people like that fat guy why not a person who's both alive and dead?" Aquila grunts with effort as he hefts the weight. Still, more comfortable than hauling hay.

"So Freya... oh right, this is the first time you're seeing me. It's Aquila. Like the thing on my chest. Clever right? Anyways, I was wondering about that necromancy thing. Could you like make me a zombie so I can just replace bits that get lopped off? I think that would be really useful." Aquila goes back to exercising.

Aquila pauses to wave Freya over, pausing his workout. The fact that he's shirtless is a little weird.

Arminius shrugs. "Don't feel down, there's plenty we can do in the meantime. You could try working out for example."

With everyone apparently busy for now, Aquila goes to the weights. After a few moments to figure out how they are supposed to work, he goes off to a corner and strips off the armor he was wearing. Of note is the fact that he's shirtless, there's a large gold Eagle tattooed on his chest, and one of his eyes are missing. He gets to work setting up with some weights appropriate for his strength. Nyx had wandered over to Vitor and is attacking his feet in the way kittens do when they're bored.

Aquila nods. "Oh, bombs and stun bombs. Yeah, I've used them before."

After Checking out the assorted weapons available, Aquila points at the explosives. "What are those?" Nyx has been set down and is now wandering about, looking for attention while Aquila is busy.

"Please don't kill the snake, I mean, how would you feel if a giant suddenly stepped on you for no reason?" One can almost hear the frown in Aquila's voice. The fact that his petting speeds up helps as well.

After calming down a bit more and taking a breath Aquila looks around. After some thinking in which he concludes that little girls like kitties he raises the kitten towards Lucine in a silent offering.

One can feel that Aquila's mouth is gaping. He raises a finger, then reaches for his mace, then stops doing both to stomp around for a second making a noise of distress before finally stopping, his helmet covered face in his hands. "By Odin's cock, that isn't normal! A kid should be out playing or at home watching their parents, not..." A small mew from the side of Aquila covered by his shield interrupts him. He quickly takes off his gloves to pull a black kitten out, apparently unharmed during it's time in the bag. In hindsight he was very careful of anything happening to that side... the man starts petting it, stress visibly melting away as the kitten purs.

One can almost see Aquila open and close his mouth as he tries to formulate a response. Finally he just turns to Lucine with a look that says "Wait, really?".

"Do you really think she's a little girl? I mean, that Doom guy obviously had some problems but no one would be so fucked in the head that they would put a child on the battle fie-, here I'll ask her." Aquila turns to Lucine, putting a hand up to make himself noticed through loudness. "Hey Lucine, how old are you?"

"Well, we can't just go around beating up everyone that looks like one of them." He pauses before shaking his head. "Well, we could but that would make us look like bad guys and could lead to accidents involving innocent people. Anyways, we did enough by sending a message to the Merchants with that. At the very least it'll be harder for them to find people to willingly fight us if we have a reputation of setting those sent to do it running as their venue of choice burns."

Aquila's lack of expression matches the delivery of the Conqueror. "You're also a total coward so I didn't expect much from you."

"That's my point sir, if there's secrets you would keep on your world it's best to tell everyone else as soon as possible so we can work with that in mind going forwards. We're going to have to trust each other for a while after all if we're saving even a single universe." Aquila keeps the fact that he's never even heard of an Egypt to himself.

"... you know, I think if I can come out and say I'm a fugitive on my world you can say whatever else it is you're holding back." Aquila says scoldingly.
