Mar, having none of the local currency, walks directly to the Quest Board, he simply looks over what is on the board, he can consider taking them once Marissa has their licenses ready. He returns the lady's smile with a pleasant nod, should she make eye contact.

Mar takes a deep breath, looking at it all. He laughs a joyous laugh, short and full of breath and life. "Now this is more like it! I thought I'd never see a place so normal again!" He cracks his back, Loads Little Sneak on a Shoulder and Ambles out, walking around a bit, he takes in the exotic and familiar scents, dust, rugs, spices, animals and people. It reminds him a tiny bit of home, if only just.

"What? That's a bullshit Riddle, I don't even know what a Book is, and Paper Lanterns always have fortune cookie bullshit written on them."

"It's a Lamp. Used to be Made of Paper and Ink, and the writing on it is misused by those that aren't very wise." Psymund Nods to himself, thinking of paper lanterns, the first thing to come to mind, as he knows more about Furniture than Old World data storage mediums.

"Oh that's simple, Monowire is just a long strand of iron, a single molocule wide, it is nearly indestructible, and universally razor sharp, as sharp as things made of matter can get."

--Ritsu+Alexandria-- Ritsu attacks the fish as it crashes into her with Bleeding Blade, Shoving her weapon into it's body, and dealing (3d4+8-5=11+8-5=14) 14 Damage to it. It is afflicted with Bleed, and takes (1d4+4=4+4=8) 8 Damage as it's lifeblood leaks out of it. The Fish's Wild Animal Attack deals (1d20+10-3=19+10-3=26) 26 Damage to Ritsu, caving in her chest as it slams into her! (16, 11) Alexandria Plugs the Vent with a Hard Light barrier, the Pressure is building up, and then, it Explodes! The Y Shaped Path of Rocks is now above the surface of the Lake, Alexandria is still underwater in the center, observing a mass of bubbles and Yellow Eco erupting from the lakebed in the Y Shaped Crack in the earth surrounding her, but Ritsu and the Fish are both Above Water, The Fisherman's Boat is in the middle, and he has a Harpoon Ready, and immediately begins aiming it up! Status --Jade-- (11, 17) Shooting the bugs does in fact kill them. It also irritates the ones hidden in the boulder pile to come out. They are coming right at the both of you now.

--Jade+Gary-- Jade and Gary Enter the Temple Grounds. The first thing they notice is that several huge boulders of volcanic stone have been piled in front of the temple doors, and those boulders are also crawling with giant bug like monsters. To either side of the temple, there is a Camp of Lurkers, Strewn with bones with a campfire in the middle, and on the other side, a Blue stairway leading to an ascended path along the side of the temple. There is a Red Stairway on the side with the Lurkers, but it has been damaged beyond usage, rendering normal ascent impossible. There are several open pools of Black sludge, some kind of Dark Eco, surely. And Black Crates Piled around them. In addition, several giant wooden pillars jut from the land, topped with what look like large disks, and a wooden structure on top of the temple, which shares the make of the pillars. At the bases of these pillars, metal machines have been attached, with wires running up to the top. Map --Alexandria+Ritsu-- Ritsu grants themselves some healing as well, gaining(1d4+4=3+4=7) 7 Heath, while Alexandria Plugs the Vent with her body, Gaining Yellow Eco Effect. Alexandria Spends her turn filling 3 Hard Light Bottles with Yellow Eco. Using her analytical tools, she finds that the Yellow Eco is apparently Nanomachinery either natural or artificial, made entirely of sub-atomic particles, such as electrons and photons. It has several trigger points and the processing power to self-arrange itself into various things related to it's purpose, which appears to be Emission and Transmission, and can exist in several forms, including solid, liquid, gas, plasma, and energy. It seems this Eco's Sole Purpose is to allow things to act like they have a ranged option, or, if they already do, to have a stronger or additional ranged option. (14, 15) The Fish is coming close now, flying at Alexandria with great speed, and Alexandria isn't wedged deep enough in the vent to clog it, bubbles still escaping. A shadow passes over Alexandria. Ritso Teleports right in front of the fish. Status

"I am Mar, of Stonerist Chi, I am the Elder hunter of my Tribe, and user of the Stonerist Arts." He looks nervous. "Piloting is not one of those arts..."

--Jade-- Jade Picks up the Green Eco, absorbing it. The Green Eco Restore's Jade's Health, and eradicates the taint. Statuses Cleansed, Health Restored.

"Sounds like we are eating meat!" Mar laughs loudly, he sounds exited greatly. "Oh you are bringing the memories back, why, once, my clan hunted down a Ouroboran Hydra, the fight lasted for weeks of swapping schedules and indeed, we had a camp right in the damn lair due to us having to fight it for so long!" "It sounds perfect, pardon my reminiscing."

--Ritsu-- "Aye? Yah, I think we can do sommin." He scratches his chin. "Mah Anchor, I could drop it on tha vent, close it up. It'ld cause the whole lakebed ta erupt, iffen the fish were over the cobbles, it would be floppin round helpless till the vent popped loose!" He starts pushing the Boat into the water. "I'll park meself over the middle, give me a signal and I'll drop Anchor, Sound like a plan, or do ye have yer own plan?.." --Jade-- The fish is blown into black mist and a Floating Green Blob which glows brightly. There isn't much, but it is clearly Green Eco. A piece of grass is picked, it is green and alive, very vibrant.

Psymund nods, leaping over and climbing down as well.

--Jade-- (9, 1) Jade uses his combat roll, dodging through the 0 sum mooks with ease, one leaping after him fails, and lands on the ground nearby, flopping helplessly. --Ritsu-- Ritsu takes the opportunity to restore Alexandria's Scuffed and slightly melted outer layer, repairing it as well as she can. (1d4+4=2+4=6) Alexandria Recovers 6 Health. The Bigger Fish Prowls closer, but still not close enough to target... Status

--Jade+Gary-- (4, 14) Jade exits the water, a fish attached to him, which is promptly shot off by him. -1 Health. (17, 15) Gary lands a ways away, having teleported via Enderpearl. --Alexandria+Ritsu-- (5, 19) Ritsu can't see the fish, but her sensors indicate that it is indeed nearby, it hasn't left. (13, 18) Alexandria spawns a Hardlight barrier, blocking the plasma Blast head on. (1d20+1d6+10-12=9+6+10-12=13) She only takes 13 damage as the blast explodes on the HL barrier. Ritsu takes 15 Damage from the explosion. The path to the center is open, Yellow Eco bubbling forth from the vents. closer inspection from here reveals the vent to work based on a peg-like section that lifts up, as an aside. Status

--Ritsu+Alexandria-- Ritsu Dives underwater, and sees a Glowing sun flying away from Alexandria as she channels some kind of power into it. At the same time, Alexandria Channels power into the Golden Sun, making it pass through hindrances, suddenly, water cascades into it, and it moves much faster, the water no longer interacting with it, in addition, a yellow plasma ball comes through, floating towards Alexandria. (17, 12) The Giant Sun Carashes into The Bigger Fish, dealing a whopping 59 Damage to it! It swims away, screaming blood and flesh, it disappears into the fog, and is lurking nearby. Getting into the Eco Vent might help her firepower, she thinks, she just needs to deal with this Plasma Orb, she could probably do any number of things to subvert the slow moving projectile. Ritsu hears a shouting from above the surface. Status --Jade+Gary-- (16, 19) Jade shoots at the piranha that jumps out at him, but misses, it collides with his chest, knocking him off balance and dealing 1 Damage. Jade is wiggling on the edge of the simple bridge. (4, 20) Gary follows, but gets hit by his own Fish, knocking him into Jade and sending them both tumbling into the water! (18, 17) Their Collective thrashing knocks away some of the fishy assailants, but for how long? Status

--Ritsu-- "No, and the Yellow inn't bubblin up, I need to patch my little boat so we can get out on the water, see if you cannae figure out ouer little mystery." He stalks off to a boathouse, and goes inside. The Bubbling is near the shore, and traveling slowly to the middle of the lake.

--Jade-- (7, 20) They begin to recede, and the skin gets some color back, and Jade feels much better overall, but they don't go away entirely. Health Maxed. --Ritsu-- (19, 3) "Yah! That's Perfect! Strappin one like you, perfect, Let's go!" He stands up and walks out, in the direction of the Beach.

"Yah, meh damn boat's busted, big fish bit it to shreds, put me outta mah career! I cannae do no fishin' till it's taken care oh'. I trued killing tha beastie, but it hid under the water and blasted shots at me whene' I got out the harpoons, It's them damn underwarter fissyers, the pressure builds up until either the whole lake bed gets blasted to the surface for a while, or the damn vent starts bubblin up. That yello gunk has the fish shootin bullets, and I've had teh take all the pointy bits offa my ship cause of it shooting my catch inta vapor in the water when it catches a blobo it." He rambles, Slamming his fist into the table. The rest of the patrons look disenfranchised, it seems this is not the first time he has discussed this.

--Ritsu-- In the Inn, Ritsu find a hustle and bustle of activity, cleaners and such, a small eating space holds a veritable hulk of a man, his hat covered in Fishing paraphenalia, he seems to be the one to talk to, he is currently drowning his sorrows in food, gobbling down a meal by himself. --Kenta-- Kenta Tried to enter the Graveyard, but a Warning Sign, Fences, Barred Entryway, and Giant Purple Flowers flooding the graveyard tempt him not to, A person is there, who explains. "Your friend tried coming in too, the plants in there are poisonous, and we don't have what we need to fix it, I sent him to the Grassy Path down there to turn on the Green Eco Beams so we can clear it up..." He points Kenta in the right direction. --Alexandria-- Bigger Fish Theme The Bigger Fish's own Plasma Ball Strikes Alexandria Head on! It's Wild Animal Attack deals ((1d20+1d6+10)-8=10+4+10-8=16) 16 Damage, as the Plasma sears into her frontal plating. Alexandria Begins Charging up her Plasma Cannon... The Bigger Fish Fires another Ball of Plasma at her! Alexandria's Plasma cannon Finishes Charging, and she counters with her own Plasma Orb! ((3d12+1d6+2)-5=33+6+2-5=36) verses ((1d20+1d6+10)-8=19+2+10-8=23) (Winner-Alexandria, Combined Damage-59) Her own Plasma Orb Collides with it's, but hers is the greater force, sending a larger but slower orb at the Beast! It is slowly traveling to the center vent, and obscures vision of the fish entirely, Alexandria can't see it behind the giant orb. Status --Mitsu-- Mitsu, Jade, Gary and Kino wade through the tall grass, walking to the next set of Crates. (11, 20) A half buried crate in the grass is stepped on by (1d4=2) Jade, causing an explosion! Dark Eco enters Jade's Inventory, which sears at their skin as they absorb it, (3271) They take 5 Damage, and a patch on their chest suddenly sprouts black quills, sharp as razors, the skin around it looks unhealthy and pale. Status Effect: Quill Tuft: The user deals 1d6 damage to an enemy attacking them, which respects RES, Chest armor worn loses 1 RES permanently from it's statistics as the quills damage it. This can be removed with directed healing, directed status cleanse, or a Logical Solution. (8, 12) A snake in the trees bites (1d4=2) Jade for (20, 20) 0 Damage, as it impales itself on the quills trying... It explodes into Dark Purple Sparkles and smoke, like the other aggressive wildlife. The Quills grow longer where the dark mist touches them. (1, 2) Breaking open the wooden crates, Mitsu finds 1 Precursor Orb. Walking up to the river, Mitsu sees it wind back around to town, possibly feeding the lake from before, it is teeming with purple Pirahna like fish, which glare up at her angrily, going so far as to wade near the surface of the river ready... (HIDDEN) Mitsu thinks she can get in there safely for that Crate. Status Map

"They'll let us know if they want em with bullets."

Psymund hands them a card with his contact info on it. "Upgrade those peashooters of yours when you get some scratch, courtesy of Ultracorp, Building the Yesterday of Tomorrow, Today!" He leans in afterwards and whispers. "Massive gun smuggling operation, lots of cheap guns." He then follows the others, he subtly slaps the goods out of Theo's hand. "These ones aren't shooting at us, you can wait to rob people we are already trying to screw over."

--Ritsu-- "W-we should end up right outside the temple, t-the reason we need the cables is because there is a-about a foot of clearance between the entrance and exit of the portal, according to these schematics. The o-one I'm building does not have the power to squeeze space any closer."

--Ritsu-- "Uh, Yeah. The machine I'm building will bore a hole in space, then pinch the resultant portal open with a strong material, It takes fuel to open it, but not to keep it open, it's revolutionary!" She nods.

--Alexandria-- Alexandria sticks a hand into the flowing energy, suddenly, her HUD gets a new Augmented Reality Artifact, what looks like a stylized painting of a reticule in yellow paint. Her joints emit yellow energy, as does her Rocket Hammer. Walking back to shore, something flashes across Alexandria's Vision, before a yellow ball streaks over her shoulder. Turning around, an Aggressive Giant Fish appears to be basking in the vent, it's Cheeks Swell, before it shoots another, larger Yellow Blast, which is currently flying at Alexandria. Status --Ritsu-- "o-oh, Yes, Thank you, we will need these unless any of you are *snork* s-skateboarders." She laughs... but it trails off awkwardly. "T-the Portal has a gap, s-so we need to use bungee cords to get across, u-unless any of you c-could grind the r-rails, is w-what I meant..."
