  1. You can't buy the vitamins but you find them as hidden items. The EV berries will be available once you found the lost child who sells berries for maman's orphanage, or if you completed the Lost Children sidequest. This post will give you the ideas for your EV training: http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=14316
  2. Hi I was searching for Ditto (I'm playing V8 btw) since I recently finished the current version and was about to do some breeding. I don't know if I ever encountered him in Route 3 just near the entrance of Corta Forest. I tried to search for him during the day and during the night from the Event Pokemon Guide, but still, I had no luck. Is there any way that he could appear? Thanks
  3. Talk to Melia in one of the rooms of Ranger HQ. She'll tell you what to do next. But before doing that, make sure to do all the Help Requests of Kakori Town. Cheers mate.
  4. In the presence of all these fan games that we really enjoy so much... If you were to make your own Pokemon fan game, how would it be different from other fan games? How would the storyline go? Would you make your custom sprites? Will you create fakemons? What would be its frontlining features (i.e. number of gyms, obtainable pokemons/fakemons, difficulty level)? What would you call it? Let the creativity begin...
  5. Damn, I never saw the possibility of "smashing" the pillar that connect to the ceiling. Thanks
  6. I'm here again: I just finished the "whale" event in Mt. Valor. Tesla gave me this HQ Key for a specific event which I immediately acquired. I was sidetracked to finish all the help requests at Kristiline Town. I tried searching for Tesla again, but to no avail. Where are they?
  7. So I wanted to catch a Spiritomb. I searched all over the forums, the internet and it needed two premises: 1. You need to talk to someone or everybody for a certain amount of conversation. 2. It needs to be on distance away from the tower. I have made four methods for myself: 1. I talked to everybody in Goldenleaf Town for 300x, 500x and 1000x with each time, I return to Wispy Tower to see if Spiritomb is in there. 2. I talked to everybody in Wispy Path for 300x, 500x and 1000x with each time, I return to Wispy Tower to see. 3. I talked to everybody in both Wispy Path and Goldenleaf Town for 300x, 500x and 100x. 4. I also tried spam-talking to the lady who knows the legend back at the Wispy Path. To no attestation, I HAVE NO LUCK IN TRIGGERING SPIRITOMB!! I need help bc this is A SERIOUS CASE OF SUPER BAD LUCK!!! Note: I have done this during night = Nothing I have done this during day = Nothing PS: I play in V8.1 [RESOLVED] It could either be in Wispy Tower or in Darchlight Woods where you have to mine for the Odd Keystone and talk to 30 people inside the forest. Either way, I haven't had the time to test out the conjecture in Darchlight Woods since there are not enough people to talk to.
  8. In regards to this, Amber is now demanding for her CD from Venam (Veronica). A walkthrough says that I have to talke to Tesla and she'll provide me a boat to go back at Gearen City, Saki will encounter me in Kristiline(?) Shore, and I'd go into Venam's house where Amber's CD would be. I'm playing in Version 8, and the walkthrough is Version 7. I can't seem to trigger Tesla giving me her boat, not even Saki encountering me at the shore. I went to Venam's house but all I received was Poison Sweep from her mom. I don't know where to go from here. [RESOLVED] Venam's in one of the rooms back at Crawli's Gym.
  9. You have to search for Amber at Aquamarine Cave. She'd be red-haired gal beside a stone. She'll be searching for her CD.
  10. Thanks for the tip. I actually have to catch a Zubat, evolve it into Crobat (EV Trained: Speed, Attack, HP) and lead it with Acrobatics against Heracross. I used my Arcanine (EV Trained: Speed, Attack, Def) against Galvantula, Golem (EV Trained: HP, Attack, Speed) against Vespiquen and Yanmega using Stone Edge, and Houndoom (EV Trained: Sp.A, Speed, Sp.D) against Escavalier. Took me a day to train them but def worth it.

  12. There are few things you might want to do: Breed. You may want to read this thread to gain non-TM moves for your pokemon: http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=10935 Hunt. Search for your next team sets against gym leaders which may be present on next episode (steel, bug, fairy, dragon, rock?) http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=6802 Collect. Still searching for an item but you don't have any idea where to? This thread might interest you: http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=16315
  13. I was from Spinel Town to revive all my mined fossils when I came across this cave in Chrysolia Forest. The tree in the entrance suddenly vanished so I got curious. I found several items hidden inside and a pond with a deep part but dive can't be used. Anyone who knows exactly the purpose of the cave? Thanks
  14. Sylveon — good companion, brings out the joy and cuteness overload Gardevoir — I'm really not good at taking care of my team, so I expect her to do that (she's a waifu material hahaha) Lapras — you need her to travel on seas, plus she's gentle and understands humans Chansey — takes care of the injured, and she has softboiled eggs!! Miltank — I'm short, so I really need some milk, plus she'll attract some Tauros to ride on (hop on, my dear Gardevoir) Charizard — for flight, making bonfires from his tail, warmth on wintery days, and he'll def protect me and the whole team.
  15. Of all the gyms, NOEL had me frustrated that I have to soft reset everytime he beat my team or when the odds are not in my favor. Adding to the problem, I have no FIGHTING-type to use so I have to devise a way to completely outsmart him. I have to shuffle my team every now and then just to find the perfect strategy, until I outsmarted him with my team (I know I'm not good at devising good movesets since they always change per gym). This is written here to help those who are frustrated to devise another strategy: STRATEGY 1: THE NO FIGHTING-TYPE TEAM (THE HARD WAY) My team back then was: EMPOLEON Lv.54 [brine, Bubblebeam, Metal Claw, Drill Peck] AMPHAROS Lv.54 [Electric Terrain, Thunder Punch, Discharge, Electro Ball] DRIFBLIM Lv. 52 [Hex, Shadow Ball, Destiny Bond, Amnesia] GARBODOR Lv.54 [sludge Wave, Toxic Spikes, Toxic, Acid Spray] AGGRON Lv.53 [iron Head, Rock Slide, Rock Slide, Double Edge] UNFEZANT Lv.53 [Gust, Air Slash, Roost, Razor Wind] And here's the devised strategy for my team (and for those of you with similar movesets): 1. For WIGGLYTUFF: Use GARBODOR as your starting pokemon. Deploy Toxic Spikes 2x and Toxic to his Wigglytuff. He'd use Thunder Wave to paralyze you and he'd deploy Stealth Rock. Then use Sludge Wave to change the terrain into corrosive. Continue dealing damage until Wigglytuff faints. 2. For PORYGON Z: He'd use PORYGON Z right after WIGGLYTUFF so be sure to change into EMPOLEON. Since his PORYGON is faster and has higher Sp.Atk. your best option would be to use Brine since it deals twice the damage after receiving an attack. The damage from corrosive terrain plus the Toxic Spikes would primarily put his PORYGON down to good. 3. For GIRAFARIG and SWELLOW: He'll either use GIRAFARIG or SWELLOW after his PORYGON Z. Either way, switch in to AMPHAROS and use Discharge or any powerful STAB moves of electric-type to get rid of these two. 4. For CINCINNO: Switch in to your Aggron since the moveset of his CINCINNO is quite ineffective to AGGRON or any Rock/Steel typing. I used Heavy Slam since it is STAB move of AGGRON, plus it deals more damage if the opposing pokemon is lighter than your pokemon. So now we're down to his trump card. 5. For CLEFABLE: Deploy DRIFBLIM and continually use Destiny Bond. If done correctly, DRIFBLIM will take down CLEFABLE after it faints. If it failed, you can outlast his CLEFABLE with the rest of your team since he used all of his Ultra Potion in healing his WIGGLYTUFF early game. I also noticed that his CLEFABLE couldn't be taken down by the effects of the Toxic Spikes but retains the status of Poisoned. If you ever have any pokemon with Venoshock, then good for you Note: None of my team holds any item. STRATEGY 2: THE POISON/FIGHTING TEAM Here's the devised strategy of my friend. Well, basically, he just swiped Noel with ease since his team is advantageous to begin with. His team: INFERNAPE Lv.54 [Close Combat, Flame Wheel, Acrobatics, Mach Punch] GARBODOR Lv.53 [Toxic Spikes, Toxic, Sludge Wave, Acid Spray] STARAPTOR Lv.54 [Close Combat, Brave Bird, Aerial Ace, Take Down] AMPHAROS Lv.53 [Discharge, Electric Terrain, Electro Ball, Thunder Punch] TOXICROAK Lv.54 [Venoshock, Poison Jab, Revenge, Sludge Bomb] ROSERADE Lv.52 [Extrasensory, Petal Dance, Sludge Wave, Toxic Spikes] Obviously, he has a better advantage to this gym than my team so it basically runs down to the strategy he would do to avoid being outsmarted. The TOXICROAK and INFERNAPE alone could wipe out Noel's entire team with Close Combat. 1. For WIGGLYTUFF: He primarily used the Toxic + Toxic Spikes + Sludge Wave strategy with his GARBODOR. Though he only has GARBODOR and TOXICROAK as resistant to the corrosive terrain, he again used this as his advantage in dealing extra damage. 2. For PORYGON Z: He switched his INFERNAPE and amazingly, outsped his PORYGON and used Close Combat to OHKO. 3. For GIRAFARIG: He also used INFERNAPE and Close Combat to OHKO 4. For SWELLOW: He used AMPHAROS and done STAB electric moves which overpowers its effectivity against flying types. 5. For CINCINNO: He also used INFERNAPE and Close Combat to OHKO 6. For CLEFABLE: He also used INFERNAPE and Close Combat but didn't OHKO for some reason. Luckily, he has TOXICROAK to use Venoshock and dealt the rest of the problem. Note: If your FIGHTING-type pokemon is slower than Noel's GIRAFARIG and SWELLOW, that'll be a problem since his GIRAFARIG has Psychic and ineffective against Flying. P.S. To other players who has another strategy in doing so, please feel free to post them down below. Thank you!
