Depressive issues aside the poison bee pokemon is one awesome bug. Early game he's not half bad (Brock aside...) hell i still use him in my FR/LG runs even though he isn't nearly as useful as in the broken gen 1 type advantages. Sadly he is a bug, thus a weakness to some very offensive typings and stealth rocks, in my opinion he doesn't really have the set up offensively and he's lucky to get both layers of toxic spikes before he's killed or simply has the spun away, rocks set up, and then not enough HP to set them up on a switch back in. So instead i just suggest the "come in packing" idea. You don't need to set up if you already have the choice boost! Want attack? Make him a jolly hornet of death! Speed your style? Make him an adamant man to hit and run his enemies. With dual stabs with nice enough coverage, drill run to get those crazy crit hax and take on any grounded steel, fire, or rock types, and pursuit to play him on anyone who dares to run from him, i feel this early on pokemon can still hold a dangerous threat to much of the lower tiers.[/size][/color][/font]
