Lotus Contiello, Countess Sybil Contiello, Count Heinrich Contiello, Lord Cyllis, Redeemer Riika, Father Babble, Barbara, Iidrra, Look, a lot of people ok? Time: 1st Day, of the 1st Month, of the Year of Rebirth. 3:00 PM
"I can." Lotus gave a small awkward smile, and then looked down at her knees. She tapped her fingers against the table softly, thinking over her words carefully. "I don't remember my past life either. One day I woke up, and I was a vampire. I was a servant to the Contiello family then, and I continue being one to this day. I could have been anyone before I was a vampire though." She looked up from her knees, looking at the Redeemer again. "I've given some thought as to who I was before I became undead. After all, undead beings aren't just born they have to be living first. I think I was some sort of fighter, I'm particularly good at that." That was always as far as Lotus got. She never asked the Count and Countess who she had been, it actually didn't matter. What use would it be to her? Maybe her old self was a fighter after all. What mattered though, is that she could use those old abilities to fight now. To fight for her new family.
"Everyone is different Redeemer, and everyone thinks in different ways. So please, simply consider my opinion. It might not be correct, and you might think differently but it could be food for thought." Lotus paused briefly, adjusting her posture and placing one of her hands over the other. "Do you and I need to know our old lives? We could have been great people, we could have not. Maybe they weren't even us. Who knows if whatever we were disappeared long ago, and we are something new. Redeemer Riika, I believe we should live for the present and for the future. To enjoy the simple tasks we have today, the great things we get to do tomorrow, and think of what might come next year so we are ready to face the challenges ahead." She closed her eyes for a few seconds, breathing in and then out. Or... At least doing the motions for it, vampires didn't require breathing. When she opened her eyes again she resumed. "Thinking too much about the past must leave you sad and weary Redeemer. That is not the correct path. So if you ever feel lonely, thinking about your old life you can come talk to me. I can always talk while doing my work, and I wouldn't mind the company. You don't have to worry, I won't bite. I don't think I could bite into you very easily." Lotus giggled softly, covering her mouth as she laughed.
