      Don't they? At least in SFV, if you beat someone you climb higher. If you never lose you will be higher. Naturally the better players will be at the top. I actually just think I won because I know the match up better than them, they are probably better at the more common picked characters

      They do and don't... so long as your winrate is like... higher than 50% in theory though you'll eventually be able to get higher it'll jsut take time. I'm not exactly certain how SFv's ladder is set up, but most ladders' ((espcially elo based ones.)) sorta fall this way.

      SFV works like this: if you beat someone higher rank than you, you win more points. If you lose against someone higher rank than you, you lose less points. And obviously vice versa. How do you have a 50% winrate, if the moment you get ranked up against better people you will statistically lose. That theory might apply to team games, but in SFV an 110% skill game it will not apply.
