Lugruf's answer is very complete, so there's not much left to say, but i'd add 2 things: Always quicksave before mining any rock, so you can softreset if you really screwed up and made the wall collapse before you got anything valuable. Also, if a rock gave you only shards, which are really easy to come by, just reload to get better stuff. It's a bit tedious to mine the same rock several times but well worth it in the long run. Go reeeaaal easy with the hammer. The pickaxe should be your default mining tool. Hammer is very situational imo.

Dunno where you are in the game, but Magnezone is ridiculously helpful against several gym leaders, so like everybody else said, you should definitely get one. If you don't like 'zone Ampharos and Eelektross are probably your best bets. The latter hits hard and has virtually no weakness, it's hard to top that. Edit: just realized you said that change was already taken care of. Sorry about that. For the other 3, Flygon and Crobat are both excellent so you might want to keep them. Not so sure about Arcanine, he is gonna have a hard time against upcoming leaders (Saphira, Hardy, Amaria) so it's probably going to be next to get replaced. Your current team lacks a Fighting type. Maybe you should look into that.

Hi jnsvda! Nice time to join the community I guess, with E16 just around the corner. I totally feel you for the "not being familiar with latest mons" thing. I basically discovered gen 6 with Reborn, even though I spent loads of time playing the gen 1-4 games as a kid. Gen 6 is still not my fav, but I'm glad I could catch up before gen 7 arrives!

Hi, I'm starting a Dragon monorun and since, yanno, dragons are kinda VERY SCARCE early on I was hoping someone could edit an Axew and/or Lord Goomy into my savefile. It's only fitting for a pseudo legendary to be hard to catch I guess. Let's just be thankful for having the opportunity to catch Beldum this early in the game, might not be the case any more when E16 comes out...

As far as other starters go, you can also get Mudkip (current Squirtle event) and Bulbasaur (current Chikorita event) if you get your hands on an old version of Reborn, like episode 10 or 11 I think

Hi Shia! I'm taking social sciences courses, aka unemployment training lol I do agree with Radomus' puzzle being very tough if you don't know chess moves. However I do know how to play chess so it wasn't too hard for me. I kinda liked this puzzle, as well as the caged pokémon puzzle for instance. What I hate the most are the long, tedious but intellectually not very challenging puzzles like route 1-2.

I have played Pokémon since good ol' Blue version back when I was 6. Why would I stop now ? Seriously, no specific reason. Probably a mix of nostalgia, curiosity for every new generation coming out and sheer amazement at how well thought and enjoyable the Pokémon universe is.

Some excellent mons you might want to add to your team at this point could be Magneton, Nidoking or Durant. Nidoking reliably OHKOs Wigglytuff with Sludge Wave, which also poisons the grassy field. You can exploit this with mons of your own that wouldn't be affected by the field, like your Mismagius.

Hi guys and gals! I’m a 21 years old university student and Pokémon enthusiast who finally decided to register here after having lurked around for a while. I heard about Reborn roughly 6 months ago and instantly loved this game. It’s way better than any other fan game I’ve played so far and straight wrecks pretty much any canon game imo. I can’t wait for e16, and I’m currently pondering whether or not I should wait until its release to start a new run… Back on myself, I’d say I’m a rather calm and easy-going guy, although I’m not very patient (kind of a hindrance to complete some Reborn puzzles… I’ll let you guess which). I’m not really interested in competitive battling, but I do like to discuss Pokémon lore (Reborn and canon games alike) and share advices and opinions on various stuff. Random facts about me: I like bomber jackets, oversleeping, progressive rock, snow (as in frozen rain), Snow (as in GoT), French fries, Fallout games, calm places and friendly people. I dislike conflict, red tape, running, crude vegetables and pretentious/arrogant/rude people. You can call me Al. Green is my favorite color. My quest is to seek the Holy Grail.
