"Woahwoahwoah, are those engines going to be put onto the castle?" Halley asked, absolutely baffled. "And they're supposed to- " She stopped abruptly. Right... magic. Just believe in it... She closed her eyes, imagining the sight of the castle tank rolling through a barren field at high speed, and vanish just when it was about to collide with a mountain, leaving a blazing trail in its wake. "Magic... magic..." She uttered. -

"Hi, Hellfire Knight. My name's Halley." She said. "Is Hellfire Knight a nickname? We have names like that too back in where I came from." "Don't worry. I only fight evildoers, and you certainly don't look nor act like one." She smiled at the girl. "I'll be going to buy groceries. Tag along if you'd like to." She turned around and walked along with Kenta. "That's nice to know." She accelerated her pace a bit, and before long, they were at the gate. The markets were already at sight. "What's on the list?" -

"I'll go with you, if that's okay." Halley volunteered. I'm going to assume that he got his hands on the whatever currency they use here. If we end up having to steal, I'm getting the hell outta there. -

"Ah- " Halley took a few steps back, surprised by the sudden offer. "Well... sure." Anything but energy crystals. I missed the last time I actually tasted something. She took the folded list and unwrapped it. The list seemed to be for a meal for two. "You're too kind, Kenta." She laughed lightheartedly, still unaware of the perv man's tactics. "Where am I supposed to get all of the groceries?" "Huh?" Halley turned to the new voice, assuming it was a newcomer, but what she saw was instead the shady figure that talked with a synthesized voice before. Strange enough, the voice this time was natural. Taking another look at the figure, she realized that the voice did not match up with her appearance. Secretive... perhaps she's on the run, trying to cloak her identity? That's cool! If she's revealing her voice to us, she must trust us then, that's nice to know. -

"YEAH!" Halley shouted, a loud and sure answer. "That's the spirit!" She wasn't sure how she got here, but at least she knew why. Maybe not everyone wanted to be the savior of the multiverse, but it wasn't simply a job that could be refused. There wouldn't be a world to return to if no one took on the mantle. Despite how everyone's ultimate goal varied, they had a common obstacle, a shared objective. Perhaps that would finally unite them? She smiled. There was nothing to be afraid of. Even the gloomy, putrid sky looked like it was clear. She noticed a confused, blocky man, one of the newcomers. "You look like a doll, Gary. My name's Halley." She introduced herself in return. "I'm not sure where this is, either, but that's beside the point. We won't be here for long. There are more Heartless for us to destroy in other universes! Though... I'm not sure how that's going to happen." -

Halley noticed everyone cringing in horror. "Come on, guys. Mr. Porcupine sounded serious. We'll have to pep up for what we're about to face," She said. "Our mission may very well result in our sacrifices, which is why we need to overcome our fears! Whatever it may be, death or torture, we can't just let that stop us!" She got a bit angry at the end, perhaps disappointed by the team's morale, utterly destroyed by mere illusions. But, then again, no one but her really asked for this, right? -

[IC] TTG Chapter 3: Gluttony
IntSys replied to Shamitako's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Supernova The hammer hit Tai's right fist, but he quickly parried it, reducing the damage somewhat by countering it with his own force. But then, the hammer twirled and landed on his chest, revealing the shield generator within. Finally, Libra's discarded armor frame was knocked at Tai's face, but it was met with fists. "...what? So, everything I'd normally do would end with me losing?" Tai began to sweat a bit, not from the heat of his own mech, but rather... fear. "I-I'm going to run. Maybe I'll find a way to beat her later, maybe I won't, but until then, I can't fight her." "D-Darn, well done." Tai commended Temperance. He then unleashed another barrage of fireballs at her, covering her vision with smoke. He quickly propelled himself upwards and zoomed away from his opponent, his eyes locked on the dreaded hammer out of nowhere. He flew higher and higher, within moments, he was a good 30 meters above the ground. "Now what?" He turned around, facing his opponent again, although with quite a bit of distance. -

The castle stopped moving as soon as Halley asked Kenta. The others were already on the move, so she couldn't stay to find out what was exactly in the bag. It's not like this is the last time she saw the castle, right? She left the castle through the drawbridge, and followed the group to the town. She would've greeted the newcomers, but a horrifying figure stood before her. It was a Reploid cleanly sliced in half from the waist, suspended in place. The cut seemed to be made by a beam sword. Upon closer look, she saw herself, the expressions on the face reeks of agony and shock. Killed in a duel? Caught during an escape? "Ha... I've prepared for this for my entire life! You can't scare me from reaching my goal, to be a full-fledged Maverick Hunter!" She recovered from the brief shock, and yelled at the figure. The figure's form changed into a bloody giant, and asked the party. "Why? To form the greatest anti-heartless team there is, of course!" She bluffed an answer out of nowhere. Man, we could call it Team Heartful! -

Supernova Tai was caught off-guard with the almost-natural movements of Libra slamming him down the floor. In response, he grabbed the arm tightly with his right hand, and used his left hand to barely hold against her sheer weight, avoiding from getting crushed into scrap metal. He could tell that the heat he was radiating was affecting Libra's hull. "You're fighting Temperance Lucas. You have to be careful, she's truly a monster. Whatever you do, you must keep calm. Everyone must keep calm." "This is actually okay so far. Well, aside from the crushing part. Slumbering Giant had crazy firepower, while Revenant had magnetic force. Libra, well, is just a giant relying on her weight." Tai responded. Tai powered up his jets once more, melting the ice beneath him at a high rate and radiating greater heat. "Not sure what you're exactly trying to accomplish here with locking us both, but, well, this isn't exactly a good idea." It only took a few seconds before the ice beneath him turned into a puddle of water. He activated his warp, and appeared on top of Libra. Wasting no time, he unleashed a flurry of fists on the front of the mech, punching between the segments of the armor and pushing Libra further down into the pit of water and ice. Every blow sent even more heat into the mech, softening the armor every blow. He continued to keep an eye on Libra's arms as he attacked, seeing them as the only other methods for her to perform a counterattack. -

Supernova There we go. Tai stopped on his track, and faced Libra directly. Let's see the handling of her wheels. How long will they last without slipping out of control? He clenched his fists, activated his Fire Shield, and charged at her. 20 meters...15 meters...10 meters... Suddenly, he punched the rink, cracking a part of it significantly before propelling himself up five meters high. He jetted over Libra at full speed, before slamming her right arm with his right fist, hoping to make the mech slip and fall. He kept a close eye on the two arms, anticipating a counterattack from them. -

Halley watched as Mar and Theodore crafted the cloak. The lyrics went into her ears, but she paid them no mind. "Amazing! I would never imagine that a mere chunk of metal can have such strange qualities." She decided to return later to check out the results, and left to see the other rooms in the Barracks. She found Kenta in an apron. "Hi, what's your name?" She walked up close. "Wait a sec, what are those in the bag? Are you hiding some loots from us?" -

Supernova Not a single move... she's waiting for my approach. Last time this happened, it did not go well for me. Tai continued to strafe around the arena, and finally, he got enough heat, but he held off his usual procedures. He started off the fight with a barrage of weak fireballs from his hands, concentrating on the ice below Libra's wheels. The fireballs repeatedly softened the ice, causing the wheels to sink gradually. "Don't just stand there, move it!" Tai yelled, slowly, but carefully shortening the distance between him and his opponent. -
If You Could Make Your Own Mega Pokemon... (7th-Gen Update)
IntSys replied to Lord Chespin's topic in Pokémon Fan Club
@Swampellow I think your Mega Delcatty faces a lot of problems. While Fluffy + Calm Mind sounds great in theory, it can barely shine with 55 Special Attack barely doing anything even at +2. The defensive set, should you forgo toxic, also gets quickly dispatched by Toxic, which will guarantee Mega Delcatty to never gain enough traction to sweep. However, at least it is a decent bulky attacker, although lacking in power (You sure you don't want to take out Fire Fang for Double-Edge?). Anyways, here's Torkoal, or rather, TWO different Mega Torkoal! (New Move: Flare Blitz) Mega Torkoal X Type: Fire/Ground Ability: Superheated - Water moves evaporate when used on Mega Torkoal X. Makes Torkoal immune to Water-type damage, and grants Torkoal the ability to switch out without fail during the five turns after it is activated. HP: 70 Atk: 85 -> 125 (+40) Def: 140 -> 125 (-15) SpA: 85 -> 125 (+40) SpD: 70 Spe: 20 -> 50 (+35) BST: 470 -> 570 (+100) The sweeper of the duo, Mega Torkoal X can take full advantage of Shell Smash with a heavily improved speed and good offenses. With a surprisingly good offensive movepool, it can destroy teams! The ability Superheated essentially makes it a makeshift Primal Groudon, along with a niche that can prevent it from being trapped by the likes of Sash Dugtrio. Mega Torkoal Y Type: Fire Ability: Drought HP: 70 Atk: 85 Def: 140 -> 150 (+10) SpA: 85 -> 130 (+45) SpD: 70 - > 120 (+50) Spe: 20 -> 15 (-5) BST: 470 -> 570 (+100) "What?! We already have Mega Charizard Y!" Well, what sets Mega Torkoal Y apart from the Charizard is better bulk and support options. It can also play Mega Charizard Y's specially offensive role with its special movepool, which has just about everything it needs. The incredibly poor speed would mean that it will need a bit more investment in order to outspeed Ferrothorn, but it also lets it operate well in Trick Room. Durin's Bane (X - Shell Smash Sweeper) Hellfire (Y - Specially Offensive) Ifrit's Bodyguard (Y - Support Wall)- 55 replies

Seeing Kyle seemingly well all the sudden, Halley decided to go on a treasure hunt around the castle, bringing back what could be useful to the team. First, she visited the Barracks, there she found some ingots lying next to a smithy. "Hm, I've seen something alike in one of the Maverick factories I've raided. Let's see... " She recalled a video from her memory. The factory automated the process, but it was still obvious what goes where. She dumped some coals lying on the ground into a foundry and blasted them with her arm cannon, setting them ablaze. Then, she filled the pot with ingots. After a few minutes, the various metals melted together into a bizarre alloy. She poured the molten steel into a small pot, waiting for it to be cooled down. "Mr. Mar, come and see what I made!" Halley yelled down the hallway, her voice filled with excitement. -

Supernova vs Libra The arena was saturated with chilly air. Tai was itching to start fighting to get rid of the cold. Before him, stood Libra. What in the- Tai couldn't believe what he had just seen - A Libra on wheels. What does this thing even do? Is it going to slam its pans at me? He took a deep breath, trying to take things seriously. "Hey, Temperance, right? Let's, uh, give your fans a good performance." He briefly talked to Libra's pilot. The jets let out a deafening roar, as if it was a battle cry. He zoomed around the rink, floating one meter above it. The mech gradually heated up, albeit a bit slower than usual due to the arena's qualities. He kept a good distance away from Libra, double-checking if the mech was really as simple as he had thought. -

Halley, feeling somewhat concerned, walked to Kyle. The world Kyle's from was most likely pretty bad, but it's not like all worlds are bad, right? She tried to tell him, but she hesitated. Who knew what kind of depressing words he'd say if the argument continued? She turned to the others. "Hey, leave Kyle alone, alright? Let him rest. The conversation is going nowhere." -

"Oh, allies." Halley turned off her megaphone, somewhat disappointed. "Hi there! My name's Halley. Crime-fighting extraordinaire!" She cast a glare at Kyle, before turning toward Mar, observing his work. "Oooh, swordsmithing. I've read some ancient novels about it before, but I'd never think that I'd be able to see such ancient technology with my own eyes!" -
