Your save file is corrupted, you'll have to revert back to an older save file by renaming any of the other files in the same folder "Game.rxdata" while renaming your current Game.rxdata to something else

Actually, the game doesn't have a "Gender" variable that applies Male/Female/Non-Binary to the character, only 2 different player sprites that are given as a choice when choosing what "gender" you are at the beginning of the game, this is the main reason it doesn't mention you with the correct pronoun, because it doesn't know.

After Venam says "You had this place hidden this entire time" she turns downward and just stops and it sounds like the player is trying to repeatedly is trying to walk into a wall EDIT: It seems talking to Venam at all just makes a slashing sound after that one line of dialogue, then makes the player walk upwards indefinitely

Walking forward and back after seeing the event causes it to trigger again. In my first playthrough, she wasn't back at the entrance to Blackview and I never saw her again, in my second playthrough, she was there and I don't think I did anything differently, so if she's not where she first met you and you want to continue the sidequest, I think you're gonna need to have someone fix your savefile for you.

As far as I know, apart from the first "Audino trainer" in Redcliffe, every single Audino I've ever fought in Desolation has only used Healing Wish, even without ghost types, so you can get easy XP. That's what they're there for after all.
