  1. So, here's a huge update for the manga, down below. As you can see I have made significant progress as far as the manga is concerned as there are now 63 pages in total at the moment for the manga. Aiming for 100 pages in total. Again, we are hoping for the end of the summer to be when the manga's first volume is finished, however it may be in mid-fall when it is released.

As a random note: if anyone is interested in learning how to tone manga pages from my manga artist to speed up production of these pages, then feel free to hit me up.

Also, there will be a Japanese translation of the manga being released in Japan, so that's some awesome news for ya! Don't know how many of you will be buying it in Japanese, but it will be released there upon release! How's that for crazy? A fan-project getting translated into Japanese, nuts right?!

  3. This is still an awesome song:

  4. An adult fear that I have developed and realized is the fear of being forgotten by people you care about. Whether that be internet friends or real life friends. Being forgotten and forgetting those around you is a bit too real for me.

  5. I've been working on this game for 5 years and it's at the 75% mark in terms of completion. It won't be completed for another year or so, since I have college and work and other factors that need to be taken into account. Also I only work on my game at least 2 times a week, since I'm so busy. Also, next year I'm graduating and going off to grad school, so... yeah. But don't worry as I am constantly working on my project and there is also the manga being worked on, along side it.
  6. Much appreciated! Once I get the finishing touches, I intend to blow everyone's minds with some rad af content
  7. Let's be real here: the only reason why people still use their Gamecubes, aside from some of the best games ever, is for the Gameboy Player. I recently bought a new disk for my Gameboy Player and I am enjoying me some Pokemon Trading Card Game: GB2 and Mother 3 Fan Translation on it!

That mostly applies to those who prefer not using Emulators if it can be helped. Otherwise no.

  8. Instead of screenshot Saturday I'm gonna coin this as "I should be asleep, but instead working on my game screenshot Sunday Night". So, I essentially decided that for the final battle of the Northern Base arc of the game it takes place in a snowy valley and eventually gets destroyed from Krista battling the main villain of this arc. And... so it did: If you're wondering why some things look awkwardly stiched and cropped, it's because the player won't actually see some parts of the map, so those parts intentionally look bad, because you won't see it anyways.
  9. So, as I was working on my game, I realized something in hindsight that I forgot for a long time was supposed to be in the game, but wasn't. However, in the manga I remembered to have it added in. This page of the manga explains such an item:

It explains how Trainers are able to keep Poke Balls on them, without actually physically having them on their person, while also being able to not have their Poke Balls destroyed/stolen/etc. It also, funnily enough, explains how they have so many ridiculous outfits available to them, to change into, on a whim in the game.

  11. Someone who plays the Fortnite's Story Mode should hmu, so I can have a cool coop partner.

  12. Reading through the Pokemon BW2 Manga before the 2nd Volume comes out, for inspiration for later pages. Next volume of my manga I want to incorporate as much Pokemon action as possible along with good stuff that I know Pokemon fans will appreciate. Mostly because the first volume of my manga is so heavy on story and little on the Pokemon side of things that I wanted to make it up in the 2nd volume.

I've also been reading through Dragon Ball Z so I can get a feel for choreography, since I like to blend both aspects together to get a good mix going. It is however difficult to do with quadrupedal Pokemon than ones that are bipedal with hands. It's something you realize when you want to make things look artistic in combat that it really only works with things that stand on two legs and have hands to fight with, so I have to get creative with the ones on all fours. Why must choreography be so difficult?

    Also, pages af:

  13. I was rewatching the Zoroark Movie for the first time in years and the only thing going through my mind when Kodai was on screen was this:

  14. As of the update on Monday I plan on posting yet ANOTHER update, however it is story-related and thus full of spoilers, it is advised that you not watch it, unless you don't give a damn and have the mentality that you'll forget it anyways, in which case: go ahead. However, cool shiz be coming soon! Also, progress so far has been going well, with production as I have managed to finish 3 events and began re-writing one scene entirely because... quality over time != good necessarily XD
  15. So, my "wife" at college was in a show where she played the role of a character who had the hots for another guy who replaced me in a show that I was in, who ended up being the husband of my "wife". I got cheated on TWICE. And yes, I am salty about that! In a joking "haha you were stole my wife from me, in both shows that we were in" kinda way.

We still joke about it to this day.

  16. As a follow up, update, here is Kid Vivian and Kid Helena, who are only seen in certain flashback scenes!
  17. Welp, this is the first time I've made a serious update video in foreverness, so here be foreshadowing!

    1. Yagami

      Yagami

I really like the design of draco sanctuary.

    2. Dreamy
    3. Commander

      Commander

This isn't even my final form

  18. SO, UPDATE~!!! AT LAST A GOOD ONE! So, remember Celia Magnus? Remember the Draco Sanctuary and all the other cool stuff I showed off for it? WELL HERE IT IS!!! So, it's been ages since I last did anything in regards to an update, but here it is! Also, I chose Vivian for this battle, mostly because I wanted to show off her Desperation Form, which is a limit breaking form that is used once your Pokemon reach critical levels and certain conditions are met. Greninja's happens to be No Mind, which allows you to dodge any attack and change your type to your move's type! Also, I cheesed the 2nd phase of the fight, mostly because this phase is INCREDIBLY difficult if you're not using your Desperation Tranformation and are not Mega Evo'd, or using a character specific Transformation. Since No Mind can only be used once per battle... well... I was kind of boned in that 2nd half. However, you cannot cheese the first phase, mostly because it has Shed Skin and the game will recognize you trying to cheese her and will only heal the status ailment. Essentially this battle foreshadows the 2nd game and its events after you beat the game and defeat Falset at Ferona-Nirvana beyond Destiny Outlook. Also, this is the hardest fight in the game, nuff said. That said though... thankfully she does not have Verdant Transformation, yet... YET, is the keyword as she attains it AFTER this battle, since this is technically a canon fight, regardless if you do this or not. The 2nd game treats this as canon and will assume you did this, even if you didn't.
  19. Dragon Ball Super ended on a good note and with that I have nothing to look forward to on my Saturday nights. However, here's to the best Dragon Ball ending and theme song:

  20. UPDATE: Ughhhhhh... give me a minute to rant about how much I absolutely hate paying for dentist visits. I hate having to pay 7000 dollars for my dental bill, because my stupid, younger self never took proper care of his teeth. I hate knowing that I have to put aside ~1000+ dollars JUST to pay my bill every month, when I could be spending on things that matter or things that I absolutely need to take care of. AND I hate that my parents are now asking me for 800 dollars on top of that, because they can't pay their own dental bills! LIKE WHAT EVEN?! JUST STOP! I now brush my teeth every day, 2 - 3 times and floss regularly, but still my teeth are still botched that I need to keep paying for this crap! Efffing kill me. I love my new dentist in that.... I think I have fallen in love with her, because she is so disgustingly kind-hearted and has a cool personality. Did I just say that? *ahem* Yes, anyways, cool dentist and whatnot, but I hate knowing that I have to keep coming back for these stupid visits. HATE IT. Side note: Progress on game as usual. I have loads of new character arts for the prequel game and whatnot as well as the young versions of Vivian, and Helena and various other characters soon to come.
  21. Update: Spring Break is right around the corner, and that means that I am going to be doing a livestream everyday, next week for 3 hours of me working on maps and eventing, while trying to catch up on my work for my game! If ya'll are interested, feel free to stop by, because there's going to be lots of work to be done there! I will make a post when I am live, when it happens, so keep an eye out for that! Also, I got pulled over for going 5 MPH over :V anyone wanna spare me 107 dollars? Going once? Twice? I literally got pulled over for going 5 over... FIVE! The most common speed people go, when they go over the speed limit on the freeway! And I was going downhill trying to slow down, so... whatever. I'm not mad. Not at all.
  22. Deke Sharron came to my University during Festival of the Arts and once that was announced, a huge majority of girls started squeeing. And I turn to my friend and I'm like "who the hell is Deke Sharron?" It was not a good day to be Dylan, when they heard me say that XD

  23. I appreciate the posts above for being mindful and patient, but as usual I have some cool storyboards of new pages for my manga, with the upcoming 30+ page fight with Vivian vs. Aria in the EX Chapter. It's Vivian's Frogadier vs. Aria's Blaziken inside of a technique called Flame Vortex: Fire Wall, an Arte that Aria created specifically to trap Vivian for this fight. And for those of you unfamiliar with how my manga artist does things, essentially: there is the story-boarding phase, then sketching, then inking, and then finally toning the pages. There is some interesting Tech used in the manga that isn't present in the game, such as a device used on every Trainer's wrist which allows them to instantaneously teleport Poke Balls from there PC's to wherever they are, up to the limit of 6 times. It is referred to as the Temporal-Paradigm Poke Ball Transportation Device. It essentially allows for anti-theft of Poke Balls and removes the necessity of having them on your person, and each ball carries a special "tag" associated with it, so it can be called and teleported anywhere and ONLY by the Trainer who owns it with their Trainer Number. Another bit of interesting Tech is the Aura Reader, which is indeed based off of the Scouters. And no, there is no over 9000 joke if you were expecting one.
  24. So, here is a little something demystifying everything for everyone as to why I don't do daily updates on my game at the moment:
