Don't worry Wendel, in terms of FE games played, I'm in the same boat. Torterra for sure, I prefer his design to meganiums (basically a green dinosaur with some flowers). Also has some fat balk, pretty useful in reborn too.

Judging by your avatar I would assume you are a FE:A (Fire Emblem Awakening) fan! I live in Australia and haven't actually got fire emblem fates yet (dang nabbit) I am super looking forward to it based on what others have told me and I recommend you buy it! As for the Etrian games, I own a few and find they can get old a little quick as there is a difference between satisfying grinding and frustrating grinding in RPG's (Etrian being in the latter for me). -

Totally agree with you there on the pompadour man xD simisage also at least had a cool pose unlike his two companions (who had really weird poses that did nothing for their already bad designs).

Serperior, mostly for design wise. Still though it really isn't that great without contrary which you just don't get while playing through any normal pokemon game (even then it learns leaf storm suuuuper late).

While unlikely, a defensive fire type would be really interesting and may give people who prefer defensive strategies a reason to like the fire type. In terms of Litten though, looks to be quite the glass cannon if the first stage is anything to go by.

I feel you on the Litten end, only one I don't like. Considering I've chosen the grass starter every gen except 6 (lord save me from the monstrosity that was chespin line), I am definitely going to pick Rowlet!
