  1. Yeah, so I just updated to 8.1, and where I had left off was I just got access into Kristiline and Amber was captured. So I can do nothing in Kristiline. Everyone will talk to me but the two people in the tm shop (they just don't talk), and the church is open but no one is in it but the frozen people. I don't know if this has to do with the time I updated and it's an actual problem, or if it's just me being dumb and not being able to figure out where I'm supposed to go, but help would be appreciated!
  2. Yeah, so I just updated to version 8.1, and where I was in 7 was I had just gotten to the part where Amber gets abducted and you finally get access to Kristiline. I have no idea where to go in Kristiline, and I can go into every building but the help center (including the church) and there are no events that happen. I try to talk to the people in the tm shop and they don't talk. I really don't know if this is a glitch or if I'm just not supposed to be where I am, so yeah.
  3. Yeah, so does anyone know if the karrablast on terajuma shore is only obtainable at a certain time of day (or something along those lines)? I have a feeling it's not, but I just wanted to make sure because I have been searching for a while with no luck so far.
  4. So is there a place early in the game to get a moon stone besides the lunatone in the boyfriend quest? Because I killed that one and now I want to evolve clefairy...
  5. So, I'm behind the water fall in Sheridan and Aelita said something about the stalactite shadows on the lava and I skipped through it. So now I'm a bit concerned and don't totally know what to do with myself because unfortunately don't know where to go
  6. I was thinking of having vanilluxe running Blizzard, Ice Beam, Freeze dry, and Hail. Water pulse is a good idea, I didn't think of that. Mist, too, so thanks for the ideas
  7. Welcome! I got a lot of use out of Donphan, Hariyama, and Honchkrow for early in the game. Also, I would recommend having youtube in the background, turning down the game music and watching some grumps (or whoever) as you train
  8. Ok, so I'll probably just get the Lilligant and try to train for vanilluxe (That is if I decide to keep an Ice type on my team at this part of the game)
  9. I don't know why, but I would be sad if Fern were to die... I mean, he's evil, and i WOULD want something bad to happen to him (Flobot trapping him in the school and taking his pokemon, and giving me that DAMN ROSERADE... bye fern... also I haven't finished the game but i am assuming that nothing happens) but i wouldn't want him to die. Blake is another matter entirely. I would not feel anything for him. Also, I would be devastated if Cain's sense of humor was taken away entirely, and he was just serious all the time always.
  10. Ok, I've been looking at two different pokemon for my game, Petilil and Cubchoo, and I wanted to know if I should waste my time on them or should just keep playing and find better pokemon. My current team is (besides Petilil and Cubchoo): Murkrow Xatu Ampharos (and) Growlithe I just beat the lapis gym and am in Beryl right now with Cain and I think am going to challenge Shade next. All my pokemon are around level 35 and I have the mining kit so I can get a sun stone for Petilil.
  11. Ok. Also, are you talking about the egg you get in the slums? Because I got one there, but I also I opened up my game one day and had a random cacnea egg in my party Never mind, I understand logic now
  12. So saving the daycare couple got you the happiny (there was no grunt in this event, the couple told you about the pokemon locked up), and the blacksteam factory event had no ditto in the first place and could be done before or after the happiny event. Ergo, I believe that the ditto event was canned until later in the game :/ Sucks...
  13. So I recently had to delete my game and start over (computer issues) and I was doing the totem pole event where you fight shiftry. In my first game I didn't save before clicking on the totem pole and got an elgyem, so this game, looking for a psychic pokemon I went back and got baltoy. I reset a couple times to try and see if there were more pokemon, but there was only baltoy, so the obvious question is how do you trigger the event to get the other one?
  14. I gotta say my favorite game so far and I don't know why is kirby superstar ultra. That and resident evil 4. Really, they were some of the first games I actually enjoyed.... and the cat lady
  15. cool thanks danny looking person
  16. Thanks! That really helped out a lot! I needed a second opinion on it, because they were really close in terms of which I could use on my team. Also, where is ditto? I'm assuming you get it later in the game but it's always good to have a heads up when you're close.
  17. Ok, so I am trying to decide between a vaporeon and a leafeon because I just got eevee and either could fit in my team. At the moment the five I have besides eevee are typhlosion, krookodile, scrafty, beheeyem, and ampharos. Overall, I like leafeon more, as i have more special attack and special defense pokemon and an attack defense pokemon would be a good change. Leafeon also has resistance to electric, which is good because i seem to come across them a lot. It also strong against water, and I find that ampharos doesn't make the cut sometimes with water types and special defense pokemon in general. I also just like leafeon more, the design is better, it's really fast, and I am very reluctant to use water types. In terms of weaknesses, I have beheeyem to take care of poison and krookodile for fire, ampharos for flying and typhlosion for bug, but i would prefer not to aim my team to specifically deal with its weaknesses and pull its weight. In all its pretty mixed for my team, and I like the swords dance leaf blade combo. Then there's vaporeon. On my team, this pokemon would be replacing a water type spot (simipour) and honestly vaporeon, and I hate to admit it, is pretty good for my team. Its got no weaknesses to the main meteor types (poison, steel, bug, and ground pretty much), everything but electric which is really annoying and the one thing about water I hate. It does have marvelous special attack paired with great hp and pretty good special defense which is great, accept for the fact that it's slow and its defense sucks. Another plus, though, is that water types, of course, have much less weaknesses than grass and is super effective against fire. So vaporeon in terms of stats is pretty much equal to leafeon, but its typing gives it the advantage and it can learn surf. So I really need help; I want to get on with my game and I don't know which one to choose. And yeah.
