  1. So no more sand attacks that pile above heads and poison stings that strike your pokemon sideways? Getting more and more excited to hear about animations and more sounds. WOOT AME.
  2. Where does this story come from? I keep hearing references to its source, but I can't find it.
  3. Assuming you survive to attack Archeops, it should die in one hit. However, it's moveset along with overwhelming speed and attack made it hard for most to survive. Like I said, Togekiss, Archeops, and Mega Altaria were the main problems for almost any team.
  4. Swampert is the start of Gen 3 starters. Sweeps gyms 1, 3, 4, 6 (ice beam/rock move), and 7 (surf). Struggles against fighting gym, but mud shot is nice, and against normal (slaking be tanking), and water. However at gym 8 you get a kyogre or groudon so it's irrelevant. Sceptile didn't have any hope until the Gen 4 move split gave it a purpose to it's high attack and speed besides seed stalling.
  5. Overall I didn't find Ceil's team all that great. Togekiss, Archeops, and Mega Altaria are great, Noivern, Gliscor, and Talonflame were pretty shitty. But I suppose they were needed since those first three had the potential to wreck most teams.
  6. TMX03 is Surf, TMX05 is Waterfall, TMX06 is Dive. You get surf after you beat Samson and go back to Amy/Tania's house. Dive you have to win in a game from the circus, and Waterfall is given by Blake if you give him the ring, or Aster if you didn't.
  7. Just see whether there is a log in the direction Bouffalant is facing (and if you haven't moved it yet) (also look inside of forest entrances since Bouffalant can run in there) . You only need Bouffalant to move the log once, so it's not too much of a pain in the ass. Also bring 20 honey, or alternatively 20 candy/foods so Nyu gives you honey for a lower price.
  8. So he got sucked in like Corey? If Anna and Noel are his kids, then that would explain why he wants to keep the Amethyst Pendant. Belrose were supposed to have the Sapphire Bracelet, meaning only Emerald Brooch is still in question. We know Luna had it, and it was supposedly given to her by El.
  9. It wouldn't be too hard. All I did was select the head of the person I wanted and pasted it on the existing sprites for surf, bike, dive, etc. It was a lot harder for me since I have a cape on my MC. Animating that worked, but it looks bad haha. I don't mind as I just love running around with a cape.
  10. I think that the machop is actually a sentry for some illegal business.
  11. Wow, I can see why you all hate Cradburry so much. I finally bought all the pokemon from the dealer on 7th street (didn't bother the first time) and it was well worth it. I now feel slightly better about the bicycle, but it's a shame that the original intended recipient never got it.
  12. The Elite Four so far are El, Laura (who was likely replaced with Bennet), Heather (someone in Beryl mentions it), and Anna. The Champion remains unknown. So far we've deduced (in a previous page) that it's either the dead police officer or the gym guy. Also, Randomus is definitely suspicious. After you rescue Luna from El, she says the following Prepare for Agent Randomus.
  13. I'd also like to add there is a revive in a rock north of the pokemart. I forget which but I found it during an item finder scan. There are also a lot of goodies in Tanzan Mountain (Hyper Potions, Wings, Gems)
  14. For me it was Red. They start blue and I had to turn them all red. Bring rock smash with you.
  15. Trial and error pretty much. I'm sure there's a YT guide out there if you really don't like the puzzle.
  16. The 2 terminals at the southern end of the gym need to be turned off as they will raise the blue shelf too much. Meanwhile you mess with the northern ones until you get to the point where yellow bookshelf is up 3 stages, then run down blue, hit the 2 terminals, go up to shelly's room to finish the bridge.
  17. Special defense was lackluster. One Eruption from my Camerupt almost demolished it, then I finished it off with a Close Combat from Hariyama. That's like struggling on the lv 75 Steelix. Yes, it does have really high defense, so you're better off going at its weak point. Although for me that just meant Gumpig using Confuse ray, then swapping to Hariyama, Belly Drum, Close Combat (required some RNGJesus prayers that Steelix wouldn't KO before I set up).
  18. I'm trying to keep a box of all the shinies i encounter. So far I have caterpie, lileto, rogenrolla, lilipup, belsprout, pidove, and some others I can't think of. I have missed shiny onix and a few others so far. EDIT: Other shinies I have: Noibat, Trubbish, Woobat, plus the things I bred Buizel, Ralts, Magnimite, Sandile, and Tepig.
  19. Abra was definitely a challenge as I had to wait for a hyper beam before I could do anything. By sheer chance I happened to try Eruption from my full hp Camerupt, and found out Abra was weak to it (does that mean it's a steel type?). That simply annihilated it. The first Tangrowth was hard because I didn't have anything on it. I ended up putting it to sleep with pansear's yawn and then sand attacking with pidgeotto so I could do anything to it.
  20. I was thinking a Big Fan would be a interesting addition. Trigger strong winds field effect to remove flying weaknesses.
  21. DISCLAIMER: I do not have any RPGMaker expertise but I am a game programmer in Unity and VS2013, so I have experience in making other games. I am currently raising a Ralts and it just learned Teleport. So I used teleport to make training easier since it cuts down on half the trip's journey. However, as I am training in Onyx ward rooftop garden, the elevator triggers don't reset. Ame has already explained this happens because the reset event never happens. So I was sitting here and was thinking of some potential solutions. Except so far I only have one. For the elevator at least, isn't it possible to set the triggers so it reverts to the right mode when you enter the corresponding elevator door? For instance, if I enter the door on floor one, can't the trigger be set to floor 1? That way if I teleport off the roof I can enter the elevator on floor 1 again and it will be as if the elevator had returned to floor 1, even though I left it on the roof. Is this idea applicable anywhere else besides elevators (if it even works)?
