Very nice field effect! You might want to boost some of these abilities as well: Symbiosis, Flower Veil, Magic Guard So... since you no longer have an Absol to spoil a death you had to do it yourself huh? I just hope it isn't Amaria or Titania. Can't have those two dying until I challenge them!

Yeah. DerogatoryTrainer actually used Absol's Life Orb in his Nuzlocke and gave it to his Sheer Force Druddigon. ... Of course with the nasty trick I shared here recently it's possible to get dozen of Life Orbs - not easy but doable.

Hax queen? You mean Serra? Wait Serra is doubles in hardcore? :-O In regular reborn I crushed her with Magneton's Mirror Shot (Froslass was the only thing capaple of doing something about it). I'll have to try that again in hardcore. :-P

I've always played reborn without using potions and with battle-style set. And I'm planning to play hardcore the same way - I'll just wait for E16. What I never liked was that even though I don't use healing items (save held berries) the NPCs still do. First it is a bit unfair and second the AI is so stupid about using them that there was a ton of cases when they actually lost because they used a potion when they shouldn't have - giving me time for important status move or OHKO. Therefore I'd like to play hardcore without NPCs using potions (including status heals, restores,...) either - would it be possible to make a mod like that or integrate it into the game (optional of course)? If yes feel free to disable potions for the player during battles as well while you're at it - I won't use them either way.

However I wouldn't really mind if he did the opposite - challenging the protagonist in an official match soon after we beat the previous champion (although preferably not immediately). Couldn't Victoria or Cain be E4? I mean they both left their previous strong team behind... But Aya is using Cain's old team so it's probably not him. Victoria not beaing the fighting type reserve-leader is suspicious. Anna being only E4 would be disappointing after those hints. Other E4 members were inroduced without such secrecy so it would't feel right. My personal guess would be: E4: Laura / Bennett, Heather, Elias, Victoria (or possibly Arclight) Champion: Anna

I wouldn't count on that. Even it they got implemented in Essentials (which seems unlikely considering that tripple battles are still not there) it would be a pain to upgrade Reborn to new Essentials at this point.

I think you can go back after beating Terra using the strength-save-glitch. By the way can someone advise me how to use an Umbreon? I'm currently doing eeveelutions-only run and Umbreon is the only evolution I didn't use yet. Couldn't think of any good use without Foul Play and/or Toxic which are both unavailable. Just stalling seems pretty useless without doing any damage and I couldn't find any good moves for Baton Pass either. Truth to be told I didn't use Leafeon much either. No good non-grass attack moves and way too many weaknesses.

The main problem for me was EV training which is pretty much impossible after leaving as there is no way to grow or buy EV berries. And of course you can't breed so no more egg moves and such. Make sure not to forget any important pokemon in Daycare. Oh and visit Obsidia department store and the 7th street - many items and moves are only available there.

I think you must reach a certain point in the story before it's available. Maybe you even need to beat Seel first.

Commander: I just hope it can be toggled any time. I sometimes slightly overlevel a pokemon on purpose to learn new move or evolve and then use common candies to put it below the cap again.

Can I ask what is "Insurgence's Level System"? Couldn't find it anywhere.

No moonstone. Just level up at night when happiness is maxed.

Hmm... I usually just give the pokemon Soothe Bell, go to both Salons for a few days and then just level it until it evoles (which is usually soon). EDIT: Oh this is about Reju. I'm sorry I have not noticed.

Is it harder then Shelly's Gym? I really enjoyed that one and I'd love to see something with similar difficulity.

I don't think we will get that Haxorus. There already is an Axew egg event later in the game - it's just unacessible without cheating because it requires Rock Climb.

Let me share my idea about this topic. The problem as I see it is making a newly-caught / newly-hatched / long-time-unused pokemon up to the level needed against trainers without providing an easy overleveling method at the same time. Very often when I fail against a gym leader I want to try a different strategy and need to swap one or two of my pokemon for some others which I haven't used for a long time (or not at all) so they are like 20 levels below the gym leader. I hate grinding using EXP share because I usually overlevel the rest of my team in the process which means the strategy I wanted the pokemon for it no longer needed - I'd really like to avoid that. Then how about having a scientist who would provide a fast leveling service (without battles, just get the exp for money or something) but only up to say 10 or so levels below the level cap. It may not help much with pokemon found in the latest areas (those usually are somewhere near that level) but it would be a great help with eggs and with pokemon caught in some older (lower-level) areas who were boxed for a long time. The exact cap for this method is questionable of course - in my opinion it would be fine to even put it like 5 levels below the level cap (without EV training they still would not be overpowered but should be immediately usable in battles). What do you think?

Yeah I can imagine that... Sand Stream ability before PULSE and Sand Force after PULSE transformation... Yeah I want a PULSE T-tar! By the way all of you who're wondering how Focus Blast hit twice in row - aren't you mistaking it with Focus Punch? That said I like the animation. :-) I also believe the rails will only go to Spinel Town for now. I mean Ame already has enough work with the city and the lake and has Adrien's Gym conveniently available there. If she will actually put the desert into the same episode and let us fight Titania now instead of Adrien that would certainly be a surprise.

Reborn was meant to not have the usual powerful pokemon available from the beginning - instead you need to give a chance to mons you wouldn't usually consider. However you can try the Request-A-Mon thread. Usually it's meant for mono/dual-type runs but the policy is not really strict so they might help you if you ask nicely.

Great. The only thing I did with the original image is that I ran it through http://compresspng.com/. Other compressors like https://tinypng.com/ will probably work too. It's also good that the images are a lot smaller after the conversion without losing quality.
