During these three years I was in front row to see her with her boyfriends, leaving one for an other then returning with the first one, etc. . I let you imagine the torture it was. I was not with her, and as Tomas Elliot said, I was simply alone too. She often told me I would find someone for me, but at that time I didn't really believe it. Then we both moved to other schools, in different cities. Some months later I met a girl of an other school of the city through an association. Cute, clever, kind, and as skilled as me in relationships. And without I even understand how it happened, we were in couple. Now were together for one year and a half. I moved to an other city for my last year of studies and we can see each other only one week other two. It's hard. And now I'll spend my days with a girl I already had a crunch on before I knew my girlfriend and who moved to the same school as me. Suddenly, the idea that used to be very attractive of having to choose between two girls is much less attractive... All that to say it will happen someday. And if I learned something, it's you should forget the idea of waiting the perfect opportunity to seduce her, like being a hero. Instead, take every small opportunity to get closer, show you're kind, interesting, etc. Who you are. And be confident. Even if you're terrified inside, asking what the hell you're doing, just do it, ignore your fear

A new shiny hunter ! I would say 98 reset is not really lucky but also not long, since you've got 1% chance to find a shiny. I remember in my shiny run I found my shiny Froakie after 3 reset. And you seriously reset 34580 times for an Oshawott ?! It's not patience, it's madness !

Drilbur was axed in E15. But you don't really need to hack you save file to get it, just go to tanzan depths in the E14 to get it. That's what I did to have a Vulpix early in my fire mono

Or there's Blaziken. In mono fire there's no prankster, destiny bond, perish song. So I just tried with the pure strength of fire. Blaziken survived the first it thanks to ineffective judgment, then hi jump kicked it twice (attacked first on the second turn with speed boost). Bye Arceus !

I swept half of her team with my Magnezone rather easily. Give it an Air Balloon, the AI can't deal with it and will try to use EQ

Ah, right, there's 1 Atk EV on Muk. But the Power Lens while fighting Grimers wasn't a mistake. That way you get 4 EV SpA and 1 EV HP, so you train your special attack without bothering with SpA pokemons. And when SpA is over, you give you mon the Power Weight to end HP EV. I trained several mons including my Lapras that way, its the easiest way I know

I would say : give your Lapras a power lens (the one for SpA) and fight Grimer and Muk in Coral Ward. That way you'll train both HP and SpA, and when SpA is over you just have to switch the item to quickly train HP

Nidoking can learn drill run via a move tutor in Agate circus. Coupled with Sheer force it's even a bit stronger than EQ. Nidorino can learn Poison jab which is strengthen by Sheer force too. It also learn Iron Tail with a move tutor, an other boosted move. And Megahorn is good to deal with psychic types dangerous for him

Several of his pokemon have HP fire, boosted by the grassy field. So steel is not a really good option

You would better train in the Grand Hall, that clown is really strong even with several levels more (his Flygon outspeed mine which had several levels more and is EV train...) and has random pokemons so you can really prepare. With a lvl 50 team you'll probably have some hard time

Now I can easily beat bosses and leaders, and like many other players I think the game is now even a bit too easy. But my first playthrough was really hard. A dozen tries for almost every leader, and that Arceus... I tried brute force, trying again and again. I tried to make it sleep with my Victreebel, then I discovered El had several full heal. So I tried to make it sleep 3 times (meaning my Victreebel had to survive a hit, then successfully use sleep powder 3 times, not easy). Then I discovered in the last generations sleep lasts 3 turns at most, not enough no kill Arceus. So I wanted to change my team, but to save time between resets I saved between two dialogues so I was stuck with my team. After a week and more than 200 tries (at least) I finally beat it with a critical gem boosted explosion from my Golem. Just luck So I understand why it seems really hard for a casual since I was one when I started Reborn. But I never complained. It's not that the game is too hard, it's just you need to learn and adapt. People saying Reborn is not for casuals are partially true. You can start as a casual, but you end it like a higher level player. Or you don't end it and just complain about the difficulty.

I'm in. And if I win several tournaments (not really likely to happen but I'll try), can I choose the dragon I'll get between the ones I won ?

My Showndown name is in the registration thread at worst, so it's not a real problem, I'm not alone with whose name is different on the forum and on Showdown. The real problem is that I discovered I can't access Reborn's Showndown. The internet in my room sucks so much I can't battle with it, I need to access the internet of my school which seem to block Reborn's server. So I have to fight on Showdown's servers

Indeed, they all have quite special personalities and backstories. Twins becoming both leaders of the online league, with Anna having visions, sisters in the league too and all three with really strong personalities, 4 friends from the same school and their 2 brothers, with Florinia becoming kind of a robot, the fake romance between Amaria and Titania (is the "fake" aspect real too ? And how do we know this since Amaria doesn't know it ?), Corey and Heather (Corey doesn't look like the kind of man playing pokemon with his daughter. And did he really suicide ?). Cain and Aya. The Agate leaders, three members of a circus all pokemon leaders. And Shade... What's the probability of reuniting such people in the same online league ? I can hardly believe all these people with their backstories are real people

Numel/Camerupt is good in the early game with early strong stabs, but later it's just to slow, you may ko one pokemon (if you're not ohko) but to rarely two. You can find Swinub in Citrine mountain in front of Shade's gym
