Yeah I wouldn't recommend that Ability capsules are hidden throughout the map in version 5 and onwards. There are 4 or 5 and some can be lost forever because they're in special maps that you can only access once for an event (team Xen attack for example).

When I lose a battle. I'm not in the habit of soft resetting for good natures/abilities for my starters/event Pokemon, but damn if I lose money to some punk ass trainer/gym leader/whatever.

What version are you playing? The guides were written with a specific version in mind so maybe that's your problem.

We do what we want because we like doing it :^) if you want a really good explanation then you should ask Freud. As for the whole gender identity thing, I noticed that you're a furry. So why do you dress up like an animal? Maybe because of the same reason people with wangs think of themselves as women. They just feel more comfortable that way. We all have our own reasons for doing the things that we do. There is no single thing that solely influences these decisions. As long as you're not hurting anything intentionally with the choices that you make then I say go ahead and make them. Life's short, be happy.

Like Chubb already mentioned, when a Pokemon evolves in this game, and in any proper Pokemon game its predetermined values don't change (gender, nature, ability, IVs, etc.). That's just silly. As far as I know only purification changes these things. If you want Iron Fist then try giving your Pokemon Ability Capsules to rotate its ability around until you get the desired one.

Can I break things on the server? EDIT: Seeing as you have the "GriefPrevention" plugin I think the answer is no...also it would go against the community rules so I'll just pretend I never posted this :'^)

Victory Road has decently leveled Pokemon for you to grind. If the emulator has speed hacks then you should turn those on while farming. The only good way to generate lots of money efficiently that I know of is to beat on the E4...winning those battles gives out a lot of coin.

I'm more interested in computers, both hardware and software aspects but I guess in order to tackle those you need a good knowledge in the electrical field. It's a bit discouraging to hear that it gets harder as the years go by I mean I should have expected that but a lot of people say that the first year is a bit harder than second because they want to "weed out the people who don't belong there". Well I guess I should take your word for it. I didn't do that well in first year compared to how I did in high school (I used to have 90s across the board, now I've got 60s). Guess I've just got to put on my big boy pants, suck it up, and double my efforts.
