I recommend going back to Gearen city and getting TM Flash before you look for Amber. It's only 1000 coins and that's easy to get with voltorb flip and will make navigating the cave so much easier. -

EVs will be shared if you use exp share. Seeing as Alakazam is a very fast, very powerful special attacker, I'd go for a very standard offensive Alakazam set. For Reuniclus I'd opt for a bulkier set, maybe a CM setup sweeper?
