Got a meditite and things have been smoother. Caught a shadow vanillite, the crazy doctor told me before that he could purify pokemon and i had the option available but now that hear gauge is empty all he does is laugh. How do i purify it?

I'm really being overwhelmed by the difficulty of the early game, currently have grotle/drowsee/litleo/nidorina and normal trainer battles are exhausting.

I've always wanted to start the anime, but I've never bee sure if it's worth watching. If it's too childish with annoying things like pikachu/some pokemon being kidnapped every episode then i'm not interested. But if it has nice gym battles and such i'd give a try.

Just started the game, kinda annoyed that we have to fight all of the trainers again after coming back from the forest. It wasn't needed at all in order to defeat the gym. The gym was a pain, hopefully now i'll be able to have a mareep.

Your arcanine/ espeon have the speed and damage to sweep teams, you don't need stat boosting moves to be able to sweep. As for supports i do use moves like reflect/light screen but they'r just moves on ordinary pokemon in my party. And your team isn't going to do well against charlotte, so get whichever water pokemon you want and teach it rain dance.

You need strength, you get to kikis grave and you defeat her ghost. Early north in the wasteland.

You don't need a supporter in reborn. And your team has a couple of mons that can take hits. You don't need sweepers as well. Just add a 6th pokemon that covers some types that your team doesn't. You can go through the game with many teams, just as long as you have around 9 team members that change depending on the situations. If you want a suggestion i would suggest horsea/buizel. Both are good with good movesets, they'll also serve as some HM slaves and they are going to be good against the two next gyms.

Tepig, not to easy not too hard. And make sure you have at least a 3 pokemon team in the first gym, and 4+ directly after it.

Glad you beat her! You should look set to do well in the mid game. Just don't be afraid of letting go of some early game pokemons to transition into better ones.

The exact fact that benett is evolving is why i think he isn't part of the elite four. As i think that most of them should have been already established. We already have DJ Arch Light. I expect one of the gym leaders to be the gym leader from the past, who got stuck in the grand stair way. I see him helping in defeating Team Meteor, and then being promoted to Champion. With him being from the past, he should have some Pokemon that no else in the game does. Heather, maybe as a champion, even though she has dragon types we have no confirmation that the Elite Four are going to be based on types. Considering that we have 18 gyms, i'm expecting the E4 to have somewhat balanced teams which are particular to their field effect.

Never had trouble against single high level pokemon, all you need is some pokemon that can take hits and you'll slowly wear it down. You'll eventually beat it at your 5th or 6th poke, having moves like aqua jet helps.
