Just beat M3G4 T3RR4WR for the first time, and 6-0 too! My plan was as follows:
Turn 1: Scolipede (Focus Sash) uses Iron Defense and eats a move. +2 def, +1 speed
2: scol uses protect, +2 def, +2 speed.
3: scoli baton passes to Clefable. 4+: Clefable sets up to +6/+6 with Cosmic Power while using Lucky Chant to be immune to crits. Last 6 turns: Clefable uses Stored Power 6 times, with 216 base power (counting the field boost) and an effective +6 spatk. I also oneshot Quagsire thanks to a crit, but even without it I'd be fine thanks to Unaware. Garchomp slammed me with Draco Meteor; Clefable shrugged it off and OHKO'd him too.

Just beat Charlotte for the first time today! I actually managed it first try, but it took quite a bit of prep, most which I did before even entering Agate Circus. Flygon was the powerhouse of the cell, as always, Meowstic made a valiant sacrifice for the sake of setting rain, Kabutops was a fine wingmon for most of the fight, and Crobat and Ampharos helped to clean up the tail of the fight vs. Ninetales.

Played a bit more of Iconoclasts today. It's gotta be one of my favorite games of all time. It's a vibrant action platformer about a young mechanic trying to help despite the laws of her government.

RWBY episode 2 is out! I won't spoil anything but I really liked it. very excited for the next one!

Chugging my way through Pokemon Uranium rn. It's a much easier game than Reborn-types or Insurgence, but that doesn't mean it doesn't have it's merits. The dialogue really reminds me of mainline pokemon games, which makes me miss Platinum. I've got this annoying bug with the coin case though, which crashes the game when I try and get it. This is even more annoying because I'm also having issues with the coin case in Rejuvenation, which I'll make a thread about in the appropriate subforum later. Anyway, S51-A is the best fakemon ever IMO. I just love friggin aliens!

Every pokemon fangame has its flaws, but to this day I find Insurgence having no way to solo-trade-evolve to be the most egregious. You're literally relying on the game having a fandom in perpetuity, in order for a good chunk of the dex to evolve.

I'm seriously considering it as well, I'm super curious about how he dealt with the first gym. As for insurgence itself, I'm don't like it as much as I like Reborn and its kids, but it's not really bad by any means. The absurd variety of really good early mons (Drilbur, Riolu, Magnemite, and Marill are all available before the first gym) I think causes the difficulty/player power arms race to spiral out of control. I do love the delta pokemon though, especially D. Charizard and the "New Moon" original weather mechanic. Back on topic: Yeah that stat war against Hitmonlee was probably the h

I think the AI is programmed to use weaker moves at lower percentages in order to try and catch switch-ins.

Very excited for this development. Watching every battle turn into a Swalot stallfest wasn't very fun imo. Now he will have to seek out new strategies. I am kinda mad he used one of his newest and best additions as death fodder, though. Palossand is a good Pokemon, dangit!

Yeah it only gets Zen Headbutt via move relearner. Other than that, the guy's toast. Belly can't tank the entire gym, and with their setup moves each fighting type will instantly be on a level with Stockpile 3. To add to that, I really don't see how Belly hurts Stockpile 3 on machamp.

downloading Insurgence on my new laptop. Hopefully this run will go better than my earlier ones...
Orion is a super tough gym leader. You basically need a team tailored to him, which is kinda sad since all the early mons in Insurgence are amazing.

IMO the only strat people will need for Saphira is DD Moxie Salamence with stealth rock and sleep support. Dragonite is the only Mon she could have with priority, and with only five levels beyond the cap to work with, I don't think Extreme Speed can OHKO before Outrage or Dragon Claw OHKOs it right back.

Got Mareanie for my Rejuvenation mystery Egg. Unfortunately, two of my main team are Swampert and Alolan Muk, so I can't really make use of it unless I go full poison mono. Then again....I have the tools....I am planning a mass poison strategy for the water leader, though, with Sludge Wave from Muk into mass poison spam. For now, it's time to prep for Akuwa Town.
