  1. Another hour-long pun fest that monopolised chat. ICSW, I thank you.

    1. TRHStatement

      TRHStatement

That was beautiful. Thanks you two. Can't wait for the next round

  2. Here, have some dopey stuff about slowbro: What's a slowbro's sister? A solosis! Because it's a slowsis! Geddit? eh?...eh? I need to be stopped. Juu, do the honours.
  3. Yes. Please do refer to the location guides in future. For now, you can evolve Eevee into Leafeon at the mossy rock in the hidden meadow towards the East side of Chrysolia forest. Glaceon can be obtained at the icy rock located in the Ametrine/Citrine mountain system, accessible through a hidden cave in the North Adventurine Woods, near the place where Joltik is found.
  4. Indeed, as you say, it is a good thing to share this, both for oneself and for the community at large. Disrespect is in many ways. Some show it crudely by yelling or hounding a person. Others show it cruelly by poking and prying away into a statement to pick out every single word as a weapon. Others do it venomously with backstabbing and toxic words. Others still do it in a delicate and refined manner, be it an adroit change of subject or a simple ignore. However, all of the above are disrespectful of even one's opponents. I don't expect there to be code of conduct for argumentative folk, but here's to hoping that civility and compassion can be engendered in them, somehow.
  5. Why is Mega Salamence's Return so powerful? Because it's a boomerang!

  6. Perhaps this should be a part of the Sun and Moon Giga-thread? Just saying.
  7. Yeah, I'm aware of the fact that Charizard looks like he's pinned against a mounting board. To be honest I was only trying to do something to experiment with textures do I kinda did the parts first and then tried to put them together as best as it would allow. I gave you fair warning that I want concentrating and therefore didn't care too much about the anatomy. As for the review of the textures, I'm glad that false in your 'approved' portion. This gives me the critique I need to work on future projects. Thanks for the tips on the wings. I'm outraged, however, that you think my mustache is less-than-epic! One day you shall all bask in its expansive glory.
  8. Who knows. We may see 70 Pokemon and 20 new megas or something. They'd better give a mega Magnezone either now or in the eventual gen4 remakes.
  9. All the best! I'd like to pitch in when I can, but that'll likely be only about a month later. Until then, I'd ask you to do the Magnezone Line!
  10. Good of you to set this down. While I'm a bit of a cynic, and believe that character is something that changes slowly if at all, I do think that it is good that you share your thoughts. Having participated in oratory and debates quite a lot, I appreciate the importance of respectful disagreement... And have had to deal with many who believe volume or punishment to trump reason in an argument. It is sad, yes, but I think it is also a law of life that some are civil while others are brutish or crude in their interactions. Like I said, I have my doubts regarding the ability of such a person to change their attitude merely by reading this, but I do believe that every little bit counts a little bit more towards hopefully teaching people to use their tongues wisely. Of course, if this is not intended to be didactic and is merely you sharing your opinion, I concur with you, and commend you for it. Here's to hoping for more polite discussions.
  11. Oh yeah, fossils! I wonder what we'd get this time! We already got so many awesome things, right from the Cambrian all the way up to the Jurassic and even Cretaceous: Omastar and Cradily to Tyrantrum, Bastiodon and Archeops, which is the first bird. Do we get a fossilized early mammal next? Or more dinosaurian thingies again? Maybe a Rock/Ghost fossil of a skeletal dinosaur that was not reanimated fully? Or a Rock/Fire Dimetrodon? (I know that's a shit defensive typing but it could be fast, because that's not a bad offensive typing) which uses its sail thingy as a solar panel? Idk.
  12. That's one lazy gallade. It's really galling to see how much he alacks off!
  13. Suggestions: why is a crocodile supposed to be so insanely fast? doesn't make all that logical sense IMO. More attack is needed. Megas can't hold items and in this meta 132 base attack is rather weak; maybe 152 attack and 102 speed is fine. More can go into bulk to make it very much harder to take down, like, 115 physdef and 90 Spdef. Also maybe it can use idk, Tough Claws? That Knock Off is gonna hurt.
  14. Oh wow, about 200 rep points already? You're all too kind!

  15. Mmh, yeah, point noted. To be frank I made a little mistake there, so the only way to not let it be glaring was to increase the level of for and smoke to cover it up, haha. I could not erase ink, could I? Anyway, thanks for the comment, Spine!
  16. All right, I have returned to cast forth my views. First, MEGA MAGNEZONE! And now, duty finished, the next suggestion: MEGA EXCADRILL (No, I didn't draw Mega Excadrill yet, give me time~) Type: Ground/Steel (Unchanged) Ability: Arena Trap HP: 110 Att: 165 (+30) Def: 90 (+30) SpAtk: 50 SpDef: 85 (+20) Speed: 108 (+20) OK, I'll be honest with you, this mega is designed for Ubers play, NOT REALLY FOR OU. Excadrill is already so awesome there that it needs nothing to buff it. In Ubers, Excadrill is still a legit threat when paired with Tyranitar, as it outspeeds everything and has great power with a Life Orb. After an SD, even titans like Primal Groudon and sliiiightly weakened neutral Arceus will fall to it, and it has no problems cleaning up even +2 Xerneas (since those rarely run max speed). However, its main role of a Rapid Spinner suffers from one huge flaw: Zero Bulk. Excadrill is one of those mons with high HP but paper-thin defenses. This Mega seeks to remedy that with a significant boost in both defenses. 110/90/85 bulk is not even bad by Ubers standards and excellent by OU standards (being much the same as Garchomp's really) as well as granting a big enough boost to its attack stat to be formidable, even when unboosted, in today's steroid-laced Ubers. This still does not match up to Life Orb in terms of raw damage output, but does come close without having to chip off 10% every turn. The speed boost is significant, as Excadrill loses out on Sand Rush on Mega Evolving. The given speed allows it to hit a nice speed tier that puts it above the myriad base 90s and base 100s in Ubers, but still below several Ubers staples like the Latis, Gengar, (M) Salamence, Mewtwo, etc. The REAL change is in giving it one of the most dastardly of abilities: Arena Trap. Why Duggy the whack-a-mole gets it when a real mole doesn't is beyond me. This fixes that logical loophole while also actually helping Excadrill out very greatly: It basically debars things like Primal Groudon from switching out, thereby hopefully balancing out that thing's unholy level of influence in today's Ubers. In fact, it would finally be able to help the whale get back some relevance, since sniping P-Groudon can help P-Kyogre actually do something threatening. This also grants Excadrill excellent utility in Rapid Spinning or taking on a bulky Rocks role. Note that Excadrill can remain perfectly viable un-mega-ed as well, so a TTar + Drill can still work fine to remove fast things or boosted things before Excadrill mega evolves and traps the slower things. And yet it is not game-breaking in Ubers. There are plenty of things that can outspeed it and Revenge Kill it (since almost everything in Ubers is on steroids and can end worlds) and its improved bulk is good but not fantastic, especially considering its lack of recovery of any form. It will also be limited by its moves to either Swords Dance or Rapid Spin; it can run both only at the cost of valuable coverage. Besides, there are many things in ubers that float, so Arena Trap is not as bad as, say, Mega Gengar's Shadow Tag.
  17. All right, here we are again, this time I am armed with the excuse of temporarily being free of obligation due to the end of my college exams. So, I have here some pen sketches featuring Dragons. It's more or less a fusion; an experiment in two different styles, one for each subject, so I hope to receive your criticism! Mind you, this still isn't very dedicated art, it's just me passing the time which i unexpectedly find hanging heavy on my hands, so don't expect too much concentration.
  18. You'll be finding plenty of shinies. Especially once you get the Shiny Charm, of if you breed for IVs and stuff.
  19. Dammit. I can no longer make jokes about zumi's avatar having a very long neck.

    1. Zumi
    2. Eternal Edge

      Eternal Edge

Something something yaoi hands something something yaoi neck

  20. Shofu's run of Reborn is hilarious though. That's also probably one of the main reasons for a significant portion of the members to find this place. (I also hold Shofu's popularization of it to be part of the reason why getting Magnezone has become so much harder now. Goddamit.) Jack's run of Undertale (Pacifist) is great, yeah. I'd vote for that.
  21. All right, wynaut throw in my name as well: Name: Viridescent Gender: Male
  22. Kingdra has Swift Swim to abuse the rain; setting its own rain takes away its main role. Swift Swimmers getting Drizzle is kinda a cruel joke, powering them and depowering them at the same time. They're better off using Rain Dance or relying on a train seeing teammate.
  23. TIL about the Eisriesenwelt. I am not that much of a traveller, but this I must see.
