Nisekoi was a fun shonen romantic comedy manga. Its main characters are Raku Ichijou, who is the son of a yakuza head, and Chitoge Kirisaki, the daughter of a gang boss. They are forced to be in a relationship for three years in order to have peace between the two gangs. But Raku Ichijou likes another girl, Kosaki Onodera (who also likes him back secretly), and wishes that she was the one who held the key to the locket which was given to him by a childhood love (but he doesn't know since he forgot the person's face and name along the years). As it turns out, not only Onodera and Chitoge hold possible keys to the locket, two other girls claiming to be his fiance, Tachibana Marika and Yui Kanakura, also hold keys. There are also two other girls that add to the harem, Seishiro Tsugumi, Chitoge's bodyguard, and Haru Onodera, Kosaki's little sister. The manga mostly focuses on the interactions of the main cast, and shows different character developments as the story progresses. The main cast later on discovers the truth of the past (ten years ago), and who the promised girl was. The manga ends with Raku and ???'s wedding. Overall, it was a fun manga with its many antics, the different girls' quirks, and the comedic and serious situations they got themselves in.

Yeah. I know; it was sad when both of them realized near the end that they could have been together, but it was already too late since Raku already fell for Chitoge. I also liked Marika Tachibana at that part; it's kinda sad that she still worked hard even if she knew that her feelings will only be unrequited.
Anyway, I still like Kosaki Onodera more compared to Chitoge both because of her personality and backstory, but I still loved the ending especially the scenes shown before the wedding of Raku and Chitoge.

Did you read the bonus chapter that was added to the final tankoubon volume? It involved Raku's and Chitoge's kid meeting up with Kosaki's for the first time as teenagers.
It put a slightly different spin on the ending 229 chapter, as it turned out everyone drifted apart to the point where their kids didn't even know any of them had been friends in their youth.
