  1. TIL no matter how the ground looks, in the winter it's gonna be icy.
  2. That's my usual plan when I'm a traitor in Trouble in Terrorist Town. As soon as I get the first kill, I just keep rolling.
  3. My year so far has been so-so. While I did get a new schedule in school that's better for me, and made a new friend (a lot more exciting to me than it sounds), I've been having more depressive episodes than usual, which isn't a very good sign. Also, my grandma broke her ankle last Wednesday, so she's been having a lot of trouble.
  4. Bibarel. It was my first playthrough of Pokemon Platinum. I had gotten to the steel gym, and was fighting the leader (can't remember his name). Being young and not that good at the games, We were both down to our last Pokemon, mine being my HM slave. It was close, and one more hit would have KOed Bibarel. It got a crit and we won. From that moment on I vowed never to use HM slaves again.
  5. Emboar. Tepig is cute. Emboar is just...not. Plus, it was the third fire/fighting starter in a row, so you can kind of see partly where the hate is coming from.
  6. Dota 2 is on Steam, and is a petty good free team-based game, but it can pretty much be summed up as a multiplayer RTS. If you've ever played anything like League of Legends or Heroes of Newerth, it's basically the same type of game. Speaking of League of Legends, you can probably tell that a large amount of people on the forum play it, so you could get a few friends to play with (which helps a lot in MOBA games, especially if you're starting out). It's not on Steam, but it is free to an extent; you're required to purchase characters, with real money if you choose, but they can all be gotten through playing regularly.

    osu!

Anyone who plays osu! on here? I recently got into it (after months of pestering from my friends) and I'm really enjoying it. For those who don't know, it's basically a rhythm game that basically involves...clicking at the right time. It's a lot more interesting and addicting than it sounds, I swear. It can get really fast-paced. Here's an example of how the game plays: (note: this is on the highest difficultly level, easy and normal songs are a lot more manageable) If you're into rhythm games, I really suggest checking it out. The official site is here, and you can also find some songs to play there. Now if you'll excuse me, I think I'll go play more. EDIT: Should also mention that my name on there is RedTheSinger, if you feel like adding me.
  8. Feeling exhausted socially, could use a good few hours of being alone.

I know the feeling. It's reat to just lock yourself away and do something alone sometimes.

  9. Yeah, MoM is the main thing that turns Jugg into such a powerhouse. I don't think the item itself needs a rework, though; other heroes that build it like Void and SB can really only use it for solo killing (at least until Void gets a battlefury). Nerfing Omnislash is probably the right thing, in my opinion.
  10. Tfw to enjoy a game you need to play the previous two before it.
  11. Somewhat veteran of Dota 2 here (I've played for about a year and a half), although I don't consider myself an expert in it. I've also started playing less recently because of school, so I mostly play on weekends and over breaks. What roles/heroes do you main? I usually play supports and pushers like Venomancer, but recently I've been gravitating towards carries.
  12. That would be an interesting idea, and I'd love to see it. If only I had experience in ROM hacking...
  13. Here's my current one, currently in Obsidia Park. I plan on replacing Pansear though.
  14. Just 100% completed Transistor.

You also played Recursion mode? I would have, but I played Transistor when it came out and every time I tried to open Recursion mode it crashed.

    2. Raindrop Valkyrie

      Raindrop Valkyrie

Recursion the after stuff? Cause I hear the combat gets super interesting in the New game +.

Yeah, that's what I meant by 100% completed. It got pretty tough at times (looking at you, performance tests), but I would definitely play through again.

  15. So, after realizing a lot of shiny Pokemon in trainer cards, some even containing multiple, and encountering a shiny early on myself, I have one question: Is the shiny chance increased in this game? Or are some people just incredibly lucky?
