I think I'll have the hardest time against Amaria, because high-powered Water moves in a water field. I think Electric moves are powered up in water fields too (assuming she doesn't get her own field that doesn't do this), but I'd be scared to send out Ampharos when she can hit me hard with Surf or Scald or something. I'd be scared of using it at the wrong time and having it faint before I really needed it. I'm not sure why strong water moves in a water field concern me when the other leaders will have strong moves to go along with their fields too, but they just do.

I haven't met her myself, but supposedly in X and Y there's a Beauty who says she made a transformation from a Black Belt half a year ago, and in Japanese she says the transformation was from medical science. Also I personally think Wallace in ORAS is more stereotypical "fabulous" than Burgh.

It could just be the start of the game is arriving by boat to the first city. It doesn't have to mean that the rest of the region involves boating too. -

Well, I actually didn't like most of XY's story. I didn't like how Xerneas/Yveltal only appeared captured in the lab, with not much presence built beforehand and not getting to see them in their natural habitat. I didn't like how there was no Champion bonding time (for the first time in the series). I didn't like how blatant and boring Lysandre was, or having to battle him 3 times within 20 minutes. But, I didn't like DP's story either, but Platinum added a MAJOR WOW FACTOR with the Distortion World and fixing of the Pokedex and some trainer teams. Plus like I mentioned it just has that "rough draft" feel to me. FRLG came out after Ruby and Sapphire, but before Emerald. -
Soul Keta was hard on my old file, but easier on my current. Living Keta, though, has always felt like trying to destroy a tree by biting it. (which still isn't as bad a time as I had against Marianette) It's almost always the second gym leader that gives me trouble. Misty, Brawly, Gardenia, Lenora, Florinia, and Keta.

The Oshawott following you around is a reference to the Cain/Oshawott scene in Reborn. It's just for that one time in the starter collection room that it does that.

I'm probably in the minority of people who'd prefer Z to a B2W2-esque sequel, and that's kind of why. XY felt sort of empty for me. So did RS and DP, and Emerald and Platinum fixed that a lot. BW, unlike most regions, didn't really feel like there was something missing in terms of story/legendary lore/postgame, at least not to me. For XY, there are a few areas never visited, like the other power plant rooms and Couriway's train. It felt like they just stuffed Team Flare in towards the end, instead of spreading out the encounters. There were a few early, but after the 6th gym it felt bloated with how many boss battles there were in that one section of the game. It had the same "rough draft" feel as RS and DP. -

Wispy Path has a place called Wispy Ruins, and in Wispy Ruins is a Ladder. You'll need Rock Climb and Surf to navigate Wispy Ruins, which you won't get until later (Surf after gym battle 5, Rock Climb after gym battle 7). In Amethyst Cave, there are rooms with gemstones (I think you'll need Surf for these too) and a room where a Team Xen grunt is looking for them. When you get the gemstones, a path opens up, there's a scene in the next room, then there's a graveyard. One of the tombstones, I believe the top left, leads to a passage down. You need the Ladder and a Pokemon that knows Dig to get down, and then you get the TM for Shadow Ball underneath the tombstone.

The most recent egg thief calls you a lady if you play as female. Apparently this accidentally happens with all genders, but Ame said he's only supposed to flirt with females. Also if you play as non-binary, it changes some of Cain's dialogue when Adrienn explains pronouns.

idk if it's final, but in the alpha that was shown a few weeks ago, you could choose any Gen 1-5 starter by interacting with its final evolution.

@gangs: I didn't join the gang until the game required it, and GG just didn't mention gangs at all. Also this is widely known, but winning or losing to Solaris at Pyrous Mountain changes some dialogue for an E15 scene.
