  5. Good point, but Mienfoo only evolves at level 50 while Lucario is already evolved. Also I'm using this opportunity to apologize for the lack of posts recently. Hopefully, after some time, I'll be able to progress with the story (and getting to an important part of it), and post some cool updates!
  6. 394 don't expect me to answer anything on here :/ From the last time I checked the thread we already have two new pages.
  7. A Reply: This is another one of those fast updates, but something quite important happens. Part 13: Undella Town (and another evolution) I've explored the entire Reversal Mountain with Bianca, fighting all of the trainers with her help and making my companions gain one or two levels each. And, in the end, we had another evolution: Finally our starter is fully evolved, and has also learned Coil as the icing on the cake. The only Pokemon that currently are not fully evolved are Krokorok, Litwick (and Boldore, whose evolution is made impossible as I can't trade). As I arrived to the other exit of Reversal Mountain, Bianca stopped following me and returned to do her work while I walked outside and reacher Undella Town. I was able to get a new teammate there, which I may use only in the future. Decent nature and stats, but it's level 38 (slightly higher than my team's levels). This gives me a bit more freedom with my team's composition. Also, Starmie can be a great Pokemon to have thanks to its good stats and typing. I also tried to beat some trainers on the nearby Routes and near Undella bay, and there the levels of the enemies were up to 5 levels higher than that of my team, but still didn't really put up a difficult challenge. Next time then, it'll be time to fully explore those areas and then make some progress! hopefully The Team:
  8. Person that gives me Reputation points for every update I post, thanks. Part 12: The Plane ride The last thing left to do in Mistralton city was to challenge the Gym and the leader, Skyla, master of Flying-type Pokemon. Despite not having an electric-type, things went rather well anyways. The first Pokemon was Swoobat, who was able to almost defeat my Krokorok; who survived with a glimpse of HP and hit back with Crunch, doing the same amount of damage to the enemy. Skyla tried to use a Hyper Potion (although Swoobat could have defeated Krokorok first) and my companion was able to hit Swoobat with another Crunch, this time being able to defeat once and for all Swoobat. The next Pokemon was Swanna: I sent out Boldore and used her abilty Sturdy to survive a Bubble beam and hit back with Rock Slide. Swanna survived so I switched to Lucario, healed Boldore with a Hyper Potion, and repeated the process: Swanna couldn't survive the second Rock Slide that Boldore used after her ability was activated once again. Skarmory was then seeded by Servine and weakened so that our new friend, Litwick, could do the final blow with Flare Burst. I was pleasantly surprised by how well the Candle Pokemon endured Skarmory's hits; also because of the Bold nature. The Sixth badge is now mine! I also got TM62 and a free plane trip as a gift. And here we go, headed towards Lentimas Town! Near the town there is also Reversal Mountain and the Strange house, which I visited. In that house not only there were some interesting items (especially for Litwick) but also the ghost of this girl, who also let me keep the Lunar Wing. That item is connected with the legendary Pokemon Cresselia, who I may catch after beating the League. This is the inside of Reversal Mountain, that Bianca (who I may accidentally refer to as Belle, the italian name) wanted to explore: that is also the next thing to do on my list, as I have to get to Undella Bay (and hopefully get a certain Water type). The Team:
  9. It's the 18000th member! Hello and welcome to Reborn! I hope you'll have fun and enjoy your time here.
  10. 349 Thanks... btw nice Avatar c: Edit: ninja'd
  11. So... I'm playing Black 2 and you White 2, interesting And you have Snivy too... That looks like an interesting challenge, nice!
  12. To be honest, I didn't understand almost anything on your first post... I'm guessing English is not your main language. That aside, did you need some help with Lunar IPS? If that's the case: you should have downloaded Pokemon Life as a .ips file. That is a Patch that you need to apply to a pre-existant Game boy advance file; it can be either .ips or .ups. For the .ips files, you can do that with a specific program called Lunar IPS (or LIPS). As this is a Fire Red Hack, you need to have a Pokemon Fire Red file ready; you have to select both files and the program will patch them, turning the Fire red file into the Pokemon Life file you need to open with stuff like VBA, etc. If you have already tried that, then it's probably because there are different versions of Fire Red... usually using the english one is safer: patching with Lunar IPS using an italian file usually brings fairly weird results. I hope it's OK if I tried to give some advice about LIPS in general here; if the problem is different then it's better to check external sites.
  13. Really fast update... I'll try to redeem myself next week. Part 11: Celestial Tower So, I have explored Route 7 and Celestial Tower, fighting many strong trainers and finding many strong Pokemon... Most trainers here had Pokemon with the levels of my team or even slightly higher... *difficulty intensifies* I've been able to add the data of Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus to my Pokedex thanks to a man whose house is in this area. Then I've reached the top of the Celestial Tower, where I tried to get a new Pokemon for the team: Decent stats and nature, with three immunities. Litwick is supposed to be my wallbreaker, although it's a hard Pokemon to raise. I also did that, though it seems that ringing the bell doesn't do anything immediately. So, thanks to all the trainer battles my team gained two or three levels: this means that we are almost on par with the next gym leader's Pokemon levels. Now all that is left to do is challenge Skyla and earn our sixth badge. The Team:
  14. "Takeshi did, in fact, tell me something about the factions, but didn't go much into detail as far as I remember..." Dexter answered, almost immediately. Astros didn't seem to know much about that Beast and, after stating that, he didn't talk for a while. Only after a moment of what seemed like a meditation, Astros asked the guy about Factions: probably because people from there could help Dexter doing his job better and they could know more on the subject. Like Astros did before, now Dexter remained silent for a moment. Joining a faction... was it really a good thing? The other people he met the day he accepted the contract came to mind. There were, undeniably, some bad aspects too. "Are you planning to let me join a faction? Do you think it'd be helpful? And... what about yourself?" Dexter finally asked, showing all of his concerns to the Mediator.
  15. Sorry for asking this again, but I wanted to be sure that no one missed this. I'd need some help with Soundcloud: is there anyone that has an account there and that is willing to lend me a hand? Thanks

  16. Reply: Part 10: The Driftveil Tournament and Chargestone Cave Last time I had just defeated Clay and earned my fifth badge. I was then told to head south and visit the PWT as there was a tournament about to start there. Before entering the competition, though, I decided to take a look at the Relic Passage, where I've found a new companion. Adamant Sturdy Boldore at level 30 (so on par with my highest leveled Pokemon). And she's holding a Hard Stone. If she wouldn't evolve by trading, this Pokemon would be perfect. But... while, being a Rock type, she'll get work done in the next gym, I don't actually think that Boldore can be useful in the long run. Great catch nonentheless! I have also visited the room where Volcarona is located, greeted the Pokemon and then ran away. This is because Volcarona doesn't learn any interesting moves until much later in the game (as it's supposed to evolve from Larvesta at level 59), it's very hard to catch, and it's at level 35 (meaning it could do severe damage to my team). I'll most likely come back later, armed with Dusk Balls. Finally I entered the tournament with Crobat, Servine and Krokorok. Their levels didn't get changed like with my opponents, giving me a strong advantage. After beating Hugh and Cheren without many problems, I found this guy (again) in the final: Great Krokorok sweep, and I defeat Colress. This way I win the Driftveil tournament and get 1 BP as a reward (and also a medal). And in the end, I also hear that Clay wanted to build the PWT to get more money for the city and, of course, for himself. After exiting the building me, Hugh and Cheren randomly see a Plasma Grunt and, of course, our rival immediately chases him down. We then find ourselves in the Plasma base, also called the Plasma Frigade. We beat up a multitude of grunts until their superior comes out. He then tells the Shadow Triad to get us out of there, and we are left on the pier; the Plasma Frigade had also gone in the meanwhile. But there is something that Cheren remembers that can actually be an interesting information: in the ship the climate seemed much colder. Team Plasma is not kidding around, after all. With this out of the way I can finally head towards Mistralton City. Cheren was also kind with me as he wanted to give me the HM03 (which contains Surf). As I am about to enter the Chargestone cave, another interesting event happens: This right here is, of course, Cobalion. After meeting this Pokemon, Rood from the former Team Plasma approached me and tried to explain why I met that legendary Pokemon. Maybe Cobalion was seeking my help... I finally entered the cave... We have levitating stones, strong trainers and Joltik everywhere. And also someone talking from out of my sight: Let's admit that, this place might be annoying to go through, but it looks fantastic. I was able to beat all of the trainers, and Boldore did a great job in most fights. All of my Pokemon (except Cottonee, of course) obtained some levels and sometimes even new moves. And with a stronger team and a new companion, we can finally come out of the cave, in Mistralton City. I immediately meet Prof. Juniper, who gives me a Master Ball, and Skyla, the gym leader of this town. In this game I can challenge the gym right away, or head to Celestial Tower to make my team stronger, and possibly add a new member... in the next Part. The Team:
  17. I know this might sound weird; anyways, does anyone here have a Soundcloud account? I'd need some help with that website.

Calvius does, but he's currently unavailable.

  18. How do I answer... I usually play games for fun or as a pastime, and I don't give videogames that much importance right now. But that is also the reason why sometimes I try to make them more difficult or more interesting, so, whatever my goal is, achieving it will be more rewarding and challenging... hopefully compensating for the added frustration when something goes wrong. Yes, I sometimes rage at videogames. Like that one time when I was about to defeat a Gym leader in Reborn and got pummeled by a critical hit instead.
  19. Hello and welcome to Reborn! I hope you'll have fun and enjoy your stay here! (copy-pasted a lot of times but well... it's an effective intro, isn't it)
