just to be clear the characters phobias consume them making them the embodiment of that fear thats what I meant when I asked for a good phobia for a concept

Consecotaleophobia would be a nice concept.

arachnophobia, trypophobia and entomophobia are all easy picks and could easily play in on the player's fears.

for some more obscure ones, you could go for helminthophobia, kenophobia or heck, go for phobophobia :^)
