  1. Fallon hesitated for a moment before moving in to take his shot. The leader seemed almost...confused by what Naomi and Michi were saying. But taking a glance back at the warriors' village, he knew that it didn't matter. "Regardless of your actions up until this point, your orders have caused the deaths of innocents. Any commander who would do so willingly deserves what befalls them!" he said hostilely as he loosed two bolts of dark energy. F9, Down Kiba
  2. I'll pretend like I didn't already know about this. Edit: Finished Sheet
  3. Fallon couldn't help but smile a little when Idriss enveloped him with his wings. He had seen Johanna try something like it before in training matches, but it usually involved her being thrown from Idriss' back (much to his amusement). "Thanks." he said with a nod of appreciation, though she probably couldn't see it. Anything more could wait, though, as there was a man with a bow not very stealthily making his way towards the group. He had the same look as the rest of them, and didn't seem very happy that his friends just got impaled. "You know, you guys really aren't very good at this. If your purpose was to kill us all, why isn't your boss out here fighting?" he asked, stepping out from the trees and letting loose a blast of dark magic at him. He didn't really expect an answer, but it was strange to him that they wouldn't send their best if they were prepared for an attack like this. N12, Blast Archer 4
  4. "Great." Fallon sighed as the familiar boy went down. Verden was right behind him, so he wasn't too worried, but he was sure that recklessness would get the kid killed one day. He'd seen it before, and it never ended well. Going to have to reduce some of the pressure if he wants to get back up, then. O14, Attack Soldier 4
  5. Twas fun. My biggest regret is not playing in inverse week. The god Farfetch'd would've had his day. Shoutouts to the rest of Eclipse for being a great team. Chill atmosphere made it pretty easy for me to get involved, much like Atlantis last Nations. And thanks to everyone that made this possible! Including our opponents, of course.
  6. "Evil or not, you'll be the ones to fall here today." S-13, Explode Knight
  7. Fallon was staring off into the woods when Johanna gave the command to move out. He felt like he had been here before on his travels, but it was too dark to tell for sure. Deciding it probably wasn't important, he started to make his move when he felt a small hand grip his robes. "Evil? Hmm. I suppose so. They certainly made it sound like that during the briefing. They're some kind of escapees from the old war." he responded as he returned his attention to the trees. "Either way, no one here will get mad at you for doing your job. If it ends up being some big misunderstanding, the blame will be on the higher ups. Not us." Or at least he hoped that would be the case. He knew full well it didn't always work out that way. R14
  8. "I think he will be. Old people have a stubbornness to them, and many refuse to go until they succeed in whatever it is they're working towards." Fallon said wistfully, remembering his time in Foen. Although now that he thought about it, that could apply to him as well. "Just do what you think would make him proud and I'm sure you will see him again." he took a glance at Johanna and the boy as he said this, but quickly returned his attention to Kris. "In any case, I would like to meet him someday. It's not often you come across someone with a collection like that." Or someone who can hear voices. he thought.
  9. Zahk is subbing for me since there's a chance I won't be able to play this week.
  10. Fallon backed up a little bit as Kris leaned in. He still didn't think she was dangerous, but her getting so close was starting to make him uncomfortable. "Me? No. I don't think I'm anyone special." he said as he moved, though his eye did narrow slightly at the comment. He could hear the ancient spirits when he focused, but they would never answer him other than to grant his requests to use their power. This seemed like an entirely different beast so far. "I am interested in such things, however. Perhaps you could call me a scholar of sorts. Coming to understand the obscure and the unknown helps with my...research." he said before trailing off. "I suppose that is why I am here at all." Or at least that's what I keep telling myself.
  11. "I see." Fallon said intently. "And how many special people are out there? How can you tell who is special and who isn't?". He was growing increasingly certain that Kris had some kind of mental instability passed down to her through her family, but it didn't seem harmful as of yet, so he kept going. If there really were others, getting all the information he could on the matter would help in his research.
  12. "A stronger voice, huh? Maybe..." he still wasn't entirely sure what she meant by "voice", but perhaps runic weapons gave off some kind of strong identifiable aura in a similar manner. Either way, that gave him somewhere to start. If he could figure out what the identifier was, he might be able to alter it to make it stronger. "And these voices...where do they come from? You said not the runes themselves, as even regular weapons have them, but I don't think regular blacksmiths would have access to that kind of knowledge..." he trailed off.
  13. "My tome was... laughing?" he asked incredulously. Can't say I've ever heard that one before. he thought. Yes, his magic relied on the ancient past, but...that kind of thing was a little too stereotypical. It was almost in the same way a child would describe the monsters under their bed. He wondered just what he had gotten himself into, and almost looked for a way out, but the tail end of what she had said caught his interest. "It's Fallon...but if you don't mind me asking, what do you mean about the 'friendly' runes? It's true that there are superstitions about bad luck involving the use of at least a few of them, but I've never heard of them being outright sentient before."
  14. Engrossed in his book, Fallon didn't even notice Kris' approach until she spoke. "What cha ya reading?" "..huh?" he asked in surprise with his eye narrowing as he turned around. "Oh. Another of the guard. Who were you again?" he said while he tried to figure out how she had gotten so close. Not coming up with anything, he sighed at the thought that he was getting too old to always be on guard. "In any case, this is just something I picked up on rune application from a few towns over. Quite interesting, although it's not like I have rune pieces to test anything with. Not yet, anyways" he said distractedly. "You're welcome to borrow it if you'd like."
  15. Fallon sat off to the side of the others, picking at a plate of meat with one hand and flipping through one of his heavy tomes with the other. After so long with only himself and Naomi, he wasn't much one for parties anymore. He did glance at Johanna and the familiar boy every now and then, however, and held a small smile when Idriss growled at him. He always was a protective one. Hmm. Best to save things until they're done though. he thought before returning his attention to the book. It wasn't anything overly special, just basic information on runes that he had picked up on the way here, but if it had any chance of helping him he'd take what he could get.
  16. T1: Shaman Personal Skill (T1): ‘Draconic Vengeance’ [+2 base damage if foe uses thunder magic] +5% Strength C Dread, D Dark
  17. "Time to finish this." Fallon said to no one in particular. R14, Knockout Archer
