      Is a possibility yes.

It could also be Follow Only Lord Demon. FOLD.

  2. Okay, time to put this more on track for some more speculation on abilities. How about the ability (as its first ability) Run Away? It seems to fit so far, as it is called Banshy after all. Another possible ability would be the somewhat annoying Snow Cloak, just by looking at its design.
  3. Well it does have really strong offensive STAB in not only Ghost, but also ice. Most pokemon which cannot be hit by a Spectrilate boosted Boomburst could be smacked with an Ice Beam.
  4. So in case anyone is wondering, I am officially unemployed now. Good riddance.

In dating terms, I dumped him. I can do better.

  5. Spectrilate- turns all Normal moves into Ghost type moves. That'd actually be pretty cool as then those sound moves would bypass subs and it'd be like the Ghost is phase through the sub and cannot be stopped.
  6. I'm tired. But thanks for catching that, Shing. Anyway I think it works the same way.
  7. As of Episode 14, all abilities go in a set path via Ability Capsule. For example, in the case of Clefable, to get a Cute Charm Clefabe to become Unaware, you would require two Ability Capsules. One to turn Cute Charm->Magic Guard and one to go from Magic Guard -> Unaware.
  8. I don't believe anyone in the UCL to be bad at Pokemon, simply because none of them are. They're all there for a reason and that reason is because they are PokeTubers with wide (and overlapping) audiences that are strong competitive players. No one should be shamed for how they do in battle as, well, it's a video game and also as a result of the immense being in a league battle where their reputation as a pokemon battler is on the line. I didn't really understand it before this current Reborn event/league (RCBA), but now that I'm getting into it more, I see exactly what people like Shady are freaking out about and people like Nappy are letting decisions come down to the wire because the pressure is just crazy. Not to make this about me (because it definitely isn't. it's just a personal example), but going into each battle before I took a loss this RCBA season I kept thinking: "Is this is? Is this where my streak of victory ends?" and it finally did with Sparky by me playing absolutely abysmally and by Sparky simply making his best possible plays. As Joey always says, you don't need to make a cool, flashy play all the time, but rather save that for when you need to catch up and make a play to win. Simply make your best possible play most every turn and you should do fine. I don't believe any of the UCL members to be bad- not Shady, not Kristen, not David, nor any of the other 13 coaches. They may not always make their best plays and they sometimes forget themselves, but they're all good people and good battlers who deserve to be recognized as such. Sure, Kristen may not be doing so hot right now, but she may just be the David needed to take down Joey the Goliath.
  9. I've also been following it, although mainly from the view points of Joey, Shady, and Nappy (in that order). To be completely honest, I feel Joey is going to sweep through everyone. Unless he chokes a few battles away, which probably won't happen since he always goes for his safest play unless he is forced to do otherwise, Joey should be able to simply Tail Glow through everyone. Because honestly, what's anyone's team to a well played Beartic? But in all seriousness, Joey has tons od experience and is widely hearalded as one of the best singles battlers involved in competative battling- and for good reason. Shady is a cool guy and he's extremely passionate about his teams and I would go so far as to say that this is one of his greatest weaknesses. He wamts to keep all his mons alive and healthy and he tends to have somewhat over the top reactions which cloud his mind. Serenity is your ally in the heat of battle. A clouded mind is a- easy to predict and b- very narrow in vision, which I feel prevents Shady from executing his opponents as he should. An example is easy to locate in this most recent battle which Shady fought. He could have easily have gone for a Drain Punch or even Fire Punch with his Regirock when Ferro came in, but instead he was so csught up in the ideas of WP Regirock Sweep that he forgot about one of- if not THE- most threatening pokemon on his opponent's team.He got caught up in the moment and forgot the basic rule of not setting up with a sweeper until the checks and counters were either worn down or KOed.I really love his team and he holds a lot of strong threats like Mega Pinsir, but he tends to stop thinking clearly and lose his head. Hopefully this will change in upcoming weeks. Nappy is pretty cut and dry, honestly. He has a lot of good pokemon that are awesome for taking out all sorts of other mons, but his main weakness (imo) is how he stresses out excessively DURING the battle as he quickly attempts to identity sets. The difference between Nappy and Joey is Joey does the calcs and prep and investigationsi into movepools while teambuilding and Nappy simply looks at the mons his foe could bring and brings pokemon to counter those mons im their standard sets. In his own most recent fight. it didn't even occur to him that David's T-Tar could be a special attacker and he nearly sacked his Krookodile turn 1 to it as he did not consider this option, although Ice Punch was another possible move that would have torn through Krook since the SpeDef boost from T-Tar's sand would not be impendeing his foe's attacks.
  10. The RMT section is really dead with RCBA going on.

There's Shed Shell for a reason, I suppose. Shed Shelling and going into your mega on a Trick Gothitelle is always a laugh.

  17. So it looks like if anyone else is going to join, Nostrings and Paragons are preferred.
  18. Playing XCOM and one of my units has the first name Aya... I think you can see where this is going

  19. Typhlosion Base Stats unchanged (already siting at 534 as is, although a lot of it is wasted in physical attack) Type: Fire --> Fire/Ground Groundon Jr. as the VOLCANO POKEMON Abilities: -Flash Fire, +Dry Skin Moves: Double-Edge (69, Start)--> Earth Power
  20. For Absol, I'd predict it to be RU when separated from its mega because STAB Knock Off is never a bad thing in the current metagame. Also you can always SD on a switch and then throw in a STAB Sucker Punch to deal respectable damage to most anything.
  21. The only conceivable usage of Normal Bee would be a choice band user in FU due to its decrnt speed tier, it could potentially get a sweep going if you band it into Fell Stinger. And that's only if you take out anything which resistd it. As it is so terrible, there is clearly no reason to have regular Beedrill in UU when it couldn't hurt anything in the tier.
  22. A lot of pokemon should certainly be separated from their megas so they can be used in different tiers where their non-mega assets can actually be utilized. Mawile, Pinsir, and Kanga are all NU when non mega and two of them are Ubers and the other is one of the best Fighting killers in OU. Charizard would likely be NU (as he was in Gen V) without his megas because while his stats aren't bad, there are other mons who can fill his role better without losing half their health on the switch in. Non-mega Barack Abomasnow is quite worthless when his mega has every stat besides HP and Speed boosted, which actually serves to make the mega even better with how it can "out slow" most pokemon in Trick Room and always hit a Blizzard thanks to Snow Warning. Let's be honest on this one: why would anyone use Beedrill in UU without his mega? His mega has Attack and Speed at base 150 and 145 respectively with the lovely Adaptability boost to make U-Turn into something which will deal massive damage. Regular Beedrill has Attack and Speed at 90 and 75 respectively. When other offensive threats have far higher attack/speed, such as Darm at 140/95 and Mienshao at 125/105, there is no reason to use regular Beedrill in UU. It should be in NU at best (as it was in BW). That's all I have time to write for now.
  23. I may have accidentally convinced my coworker I was a mass murderer. He wasn't supposed to find out. Which do you want more, Mega Flygon (which it desperately needs. Poor thing fell into RU) or Half Life 3?
  24. I think if you win the next seven weeks in a row, it's potentially possible for you to still get Aegislash. It does depend on everyone else and how well the do as well, though.
