  1. But we don't have acces to rock polish yet :/ I'm probably going with snow warning and blizzard/t wave/ancietpower/freeze dry
  2. I'm currently breeding an amaura and I'm not sure what ability and moveset i should decide. In one hand I can go with refrigirate and echoed voice(hyper voice once available)/ancientpower/discharge/freeze dry and on the other hand with snow warning and blizzard/ancientpower/discharge/freeze dry. I know that blizzard outdamages echoed voice even after 3 uses and hits 2 pokemon in double battles, but I really hate the side damage of hail for my team. Also discharge is outclassed by freeze dry and I am thinking to replace it for thunder wave for 100% chance of paralisis. Other notable moves I noticed are charge beam, dark pulse, frost breath, water pulse and light screen but doesn't seem enough for a moveslot What are your suggestions and what ability should I choose? In addition I should inform you that i don't want to breed any TMs from pre-E13 PS: Why does Aurorus learn dream eater??? How can that cute little face is feeding on my dreams? That's creepy!
  3. Since you already have Charizard for flying coverage i would suggest to replace Archeops for a ground/rock type or any ground type that can get a good rock type move. Golem, Rhyperior and Excadrill are all good choices. You can breed your Charizard to get dragon pulse and ancientpower for some better coverage or go entirely physical with dragon dance/flare blitz/dragon claw/bulldoze(earthquake when available). Azumarill has acces to belly drum as an egg move but if you think is too risky you can go for aqua jet or even bulldoze to cover its electric weakness or to lower enemie's speed which azumaril really apreciates. Dark pulse on Gengar is unnecessary since shadow ball covers almost the same AND it gets the STAB bonus. You can breed it thunderbolt from pre-E13 but if you are bored to do all the necessary chain breeding you can just replace dark pulse with hypnosis, although it has terrible accuracy. Metagross and Sableye look fine
  4. All of them are amazing! But man, that Gallade is AWESOME!!!
  5. Grass monorun with snivy as a starter. I love that little guy!
  6. Don't forget to take black sludge from wild trubish! Probably the best item in a poison monorun
  7. What if the person(s) that had all the door keys before (amethyst, ruby, saphire and emerald) locked in purpose all the legendaries behind those doors?
  8. I did a ground monorun and had the same idea with trick room but there is one problem: the only ground type that learns trick room is claydol! I did used trick room claydol and golurk and swept charlotte in 5 turns but other than this I don't find any other major battle to use trick room (at least at the current episode). Also until we can get reflect and light screen I can't see claydol doing anything other than setting TR or spaming cosmic power for stall. Although it's levitate ability synergizes well with all your other pokemon I think it would be better to invest time to train some faster pokemon like krookodile, excadrill, gliscor etc to help you out with faster threats. Also consider using cumerupt, donphan or diggersby! The were really awesome and helped in many key battles
  9. What about a defencive set with stealth rocks and dragon tail? Fairies may think they can block your shufling, but this thing gets a strong jaw boosted poison fang that has a chance to 2HKO a max invested defence aromatisse even without stealth rocks damage! I haven't much experience in RU yet, but I find Tyrantrum better for the shuffling job than Druddigon.
  10. Really good job and very helpful guide!!! Just a note, numel is available only after you defeat julia and for the ground starters you confused piplup for mudkip
  11. For EVs max attack and speed is the most common for gallade. The moveset you suggest is nice since it gives a really good coverage wich is great for ingame! But you might find a set up set with swords dance useful for some leaders. In that case you should swap leaf blade or night slash for swords dance. Also shadow sneak can replace night slash for priority but the power drop is big so I don't recommend it since you are going to max it's speed (the coverage between ghost and dark is almost the same) On a side note, while I was looking for gallade's learnset I noticed that it can learn a lot of moves that are good for double battles, which are very common in reborn! Heal pulse, wide guard, helping hand, ally switch, skill swap, buldoze (earthquake and rock slide too but are unavailable at moment) and misty terrain to help it's teamates. Now i wanna try a defencive set and see how useful it can be
  12. Can you also provide us the gender of you pokemon? For your Noibat/Noivern I definetely suggest Bat(wo)man!!!
  13. Metagross is also an option for her team, even though we saw it in Radomus team. But if it's going to be a double battle I bet she would have a levitating bronzong with dual screens to spam eq with her othe pokemon!
  14. Ability Capsules doesn't change the ability random anymore, but it cycles through all the pokemon's abilities. You will need 2 ability capsules to make steelix's ability sheer force! Also, stone edge doesn't get boosted by sheer force but rock slide does and becomes almost as powerful as stone edge (99,75 actually) with better accuracy. If you want to use curselix then you have to remove stealth rocks since you will be walled by other steel types and many dual type combinations with only steel and rock coverage. Dig is the best option probably since it gets STAB and makes a nice all-around coverage with rock slide (change it to buldoze after terra since it gets the SF boost). But you can use any of the elemental fangs or crunch if you want to cover different things (crunch for the upcoming radomus will be nice) + they all get the sheer force boost. In the case you want to still use stealth rocks, go with the sturdy ability! Steelix is so slow and can be easily knocked out from special attacks, so you need sturdy to ensure that you will get stealth rocks up. Personally I used a sheer force steelix with iron tail, dig (buldoze now), rock slide and thunder fang. But for battles that I needed stealth rocks I was swaping thunder fang.
  15. Fairy types that are available at this point you are: clefairy, jigglypuff, azumaril, granbull, mr. mime, aromatisse and slurpuff From these azumarill, granbull, mr. mime and aromatisse are the best choises. Slurpuff is also good with it's cotton guard but you need to grind above the lvl cap to learn it play rough at 49 to deal some damage. Azumarill with huge power is a boss in reborn throughout the whole game, but I personally find it cheap to use it (thank god it will be axed). Intimidate granbull is you best bet against kiki, since most of her pokes are physical attackers. Mr. mime can set up reflect (and light screen) and hit hard and fast with psychic. Aromatisse can set up calm minds and sweep with moonblast/draining kiss and can change the field completely with misty terrain (also it can learn psychic at 48, but it is a pain to gind it at that lvl). If you are going for a fairy type watch out for her toxicroak since it's also a poison type and for any other poison/steel moves her pokemon may have
  16. 1st try to evolve Vulpix. You can find fire stones by mining the flashing boulders. I'm not sure if you have access to move relearner but Venomoth with quiver dance and gust can sweep all her team easily! Try to replace onix for this gym with something that can take hits like Donphan. Also physical Whiscash with field-boosted zen-headbutt is really good for this gym!!! I heard fairy types can be very useful but never had any fairy in my playthroughs. And by far the best pokemon against Kiki is Simple Woobat with Calm Mind!
  17. We have agreed to trade any Frokie of yours for my charmander Details: OT Name: Pyrros OT Gender: Male OT ID: 07990 Name: Charmander Species: Charmander Gender: Male Shininess: No Level: 1 Nature: Modest/Timid/Jolly (choose what nature you want) Ability: Blaze Moves: (depending on nature they have different moves, although all are lvl up moves) EV: all 0 IV: hp 24/att 31/def 31/sp.att. 30/sp.def. 30/speed 31
  18. Also I believe lava plaume on typhlosion would be more useful than flamethrower. You have already eruption for damage and the burns from the lava plume can be really helpful
  19. Yeah, that stunfisk looks good and since I was bored to train mine I think I will give it a try in the monorun. The "legal" aspect was about if it's fine to make trades in a challenging mode before I complete the whole game (since it's unfinished). But I think it will be ok, a stunfisk won't make the challenge easier or something
  20. Yash, I can give you a turtwig with superpower as an egg move but it's in my ground monorun save file. I don't know if it's "legal" since is a challenging run doing for myself and not a normal playthrough, but if you agrre I'm looking for any ground type with good iv OR any shiny ground type other than rhyhorn and geodude
  21. For my ground monorun I chose turtwig even though it isn't a ground type until level 32. But beleive me, you would not regret for using it! The only hard part is until you beat florinia since you can only use grotle, but if you manage to set up a lot of curses you can sweep her with ease. The same applies for nidoking/queen, if you tolarate for using it for a bit as a nidorino/a until toxic spikes then it would be one of your most usefull pokemon for the monorun.
  22. I suggest running water pledge over water pulse on blastoise, since we will wait a lot till we can mega evolve it. Also you can team it up with typhlosion (or emboar) until we get volcarona, with fire pledge to have an alternative way to set up the field. Definetely run meditate on medicham and i suggest to add a magnezone with sonicboom/tri attack/flsah cannon/discharge(thunder when available) until we can get politoad or instead the ludicolo
  23. Yes, your save data can work with older episodes. But to save you from the trouble to go back in an episode for breeding solarbeam, cyndaquil can't learn solarbeam only typhlosion can! So it won't be passed as a tm egg move
  24. Mega-Swampert can be really painfull to deal with, if you have lost your venusaur For that I will suggest to run solarbeam on ninetales just for it! Also jolly max-speed M-swampert 2hko venusaur in the swich in with earthquake outside of the sun! So running timid on venusaur might come in handy if you haven't set up the sun. Also you can put some ev from speed to add some bulk this way since in sun it still outspeed most pokemon in ou. Scizor walls M-swampert all day, but can't do anything against it. All your other pokemon have no way to deal with it
  25. An alternative way, is the use of x-accuracy. But is usefull only in gym/boss battles
