Plot twist: Shade is the late husband of the old lady (the one using stolen pokemon). She is actually the champion and is secretly trying to find trainers to give the stolen pokemon back to. She is mad at us for ruining her plan. As we defeated her "stolen team", she can't use her real team and blow her cover. She is trying to expose the crime syndicate and destroy it from the inside, but before she does so, she is closing in on Team Meteor to find ways to stop their plans and return Reborn to its former glory. After you defeat Lin/Solaris, she takes care of them, team Magma/Aqua trys to ask for an apology, and the world is astonished.

You know, you could always do it like the Growlithe. Take it, breed it, and trade it or its offspring. The policemen don't really have a problem, as long as it's a growlithe. It could be the same for a kid, whose parent wanted to give the mon as a gift. It wouldn't mind which specific Vanillite is it, as long as it has it.

While true that most people will not take the time to grind them, unless it is between the episode release (like me), pokemon like Conkeldurr outclass all others in their category, so they are worthy of the grind. Others like Rotom are worth it to spend time in the daycare to breed one with decent IVs before you throw it in the battle. Getting a low level Pinsir is not worth it. The same goes for Joltix and Sableye. A potential raise of ~10 levels is enough.

By using the exp share, you can grind them up to lvl 40 or 50 easily, by EV training something at the Tauros/Bouffalant or in the Citae Ark d'Astrae. Heracross could be higher if Radomus was the only one to fight afterwards, but it can decimate Luna on its own.

That was sneaky, however not as sneaky as sneaky Duskull is, because he was sneaky enough to use Shadow Sneak.
