"T-then I won't bother you anymore... I'll go back to my room... Sorry..." Watching as Shiro got up and began to leave, those words just echoed with him. 'B-bother me? I... I just wanted what he...' Before he could just accept it as Shiro's choice and let him leave, Robert saw Shiro's current appearance, so pale and sickly. Even if Shiro truly just wanted to leave, he just couldn't let him head off alone like that. "Shiro, c-could I atleast help you get back then? U-unless you want to go back alone. Or,..." As he said that last part, he released Kiai out next to him. "... I could even have Kiai help you back, if that's what you'd prefer." He looked down as he said that last part. Even if he wouldn't be able to go with Shiro himself, atleast he'd be just as sure that Shiro stayed okay on the way back. Kiai simple nodded at the reccomendation, getting a good enough idea of what was going on. -

Drawn away from his gaze on the Dusk Stone, he turned his attention back to Shiro, a bit suprised by the comment. His immediate thought was 'why would he even say that I could leave if I wanted?' After all, what was going on here took priority in his mind, as it's not like the battles would be the thing soon missing. Added to that, he mainly just planned to watch the battles with his friends and cheer eachother on before the news yesterday. On the other hand, the statement was obviously meant to make him more comfortable with the situation. After some thinking, he could only think of one 'good' answer. "I'm okay with whatever really, if I just stay with you or give you some time to think. Whatever you'd like is... well, fine with me." -

@Surge: Well that's... Suprising then. On a sort of unrelated note, that explanation made me envision more Star Wars comparisons in that, including 'I'll never join you, you killed my father!' without the twist ending... A bad joke, but still works.

Don't forget that Giovanni HAS made canon appearances after Team Rocket disbanded in the game's canon(BW2 PWT). Should we chop this up to another fail by the IP, 'parole', or possibly Red vouching for Giovanni's reformation?

Taking the simple nod as yes, Robert helped Shiro up and turned to Jet. The Noibat simply looked and nodded, showing that he'd rather just stay and give some warning if anyone else came by here. After which, Robert just walked with Shiro leaving Jet to watch the battle on-screen. ------------ Once finding the closest restroom, Robert 'directed' Shiro to a stall and let needed done be taken care of. Once he felt that Shiro had went in, he took reached into his right pocket and pulled out the Dusk Stone, looking at it as skipped-over thoughts raced. 'Not only did I JUST miss Sissy's battle so closely, I haven't seen from her or even heard what happened in her battle. Did it go badly? What even happened? Maybe she needed it while I was away?' -

...Yeah, that's a good point. So in actuality, this could just as easily happen no matter what side Skarmory is on... And that's even scarier, the fact that the 'one pivotal point' that's been targeted may have the same chance either way.

@Cepheus: There's a kicker; If Max did age from 7(or 8, if he aged during the Battle Frontier saga) to 10(or 11 if he went through Hoenn first), that would mean that actual time is passing to about a year per region, implying that Ash/Serena would be around 15-16 too, confirming that the whole 'Ash doesn't age' joke could just as easily be thrown out aswell.

People are just 'hating on it' for it's power. And with Drill Run Lance now in mind, I'll be lucky Toxicroak has access to Ice Punch and a lot of Ground attacks.

While being pushed away made Robert initially assume that he might have gotten the wrong signal, what... immediately followed took precedence, making it obvious how much the stress was affecting him. Robert simply kneeled down besides Shiro, trying his best to not make things worse than they already were. "You need me to help you get somewhere? Maybe just a restroom?" -

Seeing Shiro's expression turn to one that looked sadder, to the point that he might even be sick, Robert practically dove down besides Shiro and wrapped his arm around Shiro's back, trying to comfort him while flinging Jet off in the process. His own thoughts raced in his mind, wondering if he should have brought Shiro back with him, if this might have just made things even worse. "Shiro... I truely wish I could understand all that you're going through, be able to do more than just cushion the blow... anything that could actually help you feel truely better through this." He was doing his best to hold his own tears back, trying to be the 'shoulder to cry on' that seemed so necessary. -
Yeah, I think that's gonna be more than enough time difference to pass Ch. 4, especially since the first 3 chapters only span from early September to early December.(About 3 months) Let the literal interpretation of the sad rain cloud be very possible. Also, guess Robert will just have to learn that Sissy lost from someone else that would have known and spread that info. Edit: Feel free to tell me if I go too... Deep with it.

Electrode, Hands Down(pun unintentional). Since I started out in Crystal, I've always hated certain designs, but never had any problem with Electrode in the first place. Over time, though I've hated certain designs, they've warmed on me and have gotten better. But Electrode... Genwunners complain about 'lacking originality,' and yet they're okay with a flipped over Pokeball with a cheeky smile.

42 I don't get the point of Soft Reseting for Shinies. Soft Reseting for IVs maybe, but if you're already wasting your time soft Reseting for a Shiny Legendary, I think the awe from finding it would wear of and it would be Moreso worth it to gen the shiny.

Well there was a total of 16 battles needed and we got 'full views' out of 12 of them, as well as Chim's very necessary hiatus. So yeah, makes sense that it took this long.
