  1. I'm guessing it learnt it via the move tutor in Agate Circus Anyway for advice: I'll just guess that you're like me and would want to keep your team members without any replacements. Like KnightZhroud said above, teach Thunderpunch to Infernape. I would replace Magical Leaf for Petal Dance for Florges. I'm guessing Rain Dance is there for Charlotte - so it might be okay to get rid of it now (maybe for Nature Power?) Quagsire looks fine, except for Surf. I would get another Pokemon to use for Surf. The other three looks fine. Nice work!
  2. Just defeated Charlotte again. I don't usually defeat Gym Leaders in my first attempt (it takes about 5~6 tries for me), so I was really surprised. I lead with Chesnaught and Gardevoir - the latter with Rain Dance (imo it would have been impossible to win without it). Her Typhlosion and Ninetales both targeted my Chesnaught using Flamethrower - so I switched him out for a Flash Fire Houndoom. The extra boost he got from those Flamethrowers and one Nasty Plot was able to make him the star of this battle. He OHKOed Typhlosion, Volcarona, Delphox and the higher leveled Ninetales. Gardevoir would have shined too.. as I was setting up using Calm Mind - but an unlucky critical hit got her... so she fainted before she could do any damage to Charlotte. Flygon then came, and finished her other two Pokemon with Rock Slide. It's quite interesting how you could use the weather to turn the advantage Charlotte had against her. If I didn't see all the Rain Dance strategies posted here, I probably would have been stuck for ages.
  3. Yes, like I said before, I also think a PULSE has more likelihood than a Legendary Pokemon. But a Legendary is still a possibility. I'm still betting my two cents on Avalugg though xD
  4. When does Aya's interview show up? I keep forgetting to check the TV... so I was only able to watch Hardy and Adrienn's interview.
  5. She probably means the new field Serra will be getting in E15

    Noibat

I feel your pain... it was the nuisance of my team in my first playthrough. I raised it from Level 9 - and I needed a lot of patience. I had to use 3 Rare Candies when it was Level 45 because it couldn't defeat a single Pokemon without fainting at least once. It shined when it evolved though thankfully. You could try catching a Noibat at a higher level and train it from there.

    Shoal Salt

Can't believe Ame took out Shell Bell But yeah, I'm guessing we'll come across a maniac soon.
  8. Could be. Kyurem comes into mind... but I think a PULSE is more likely. I mean, why would a Legendary Ice Pokemon suddenly build a massive chunk of ice in the middle of the mountain?
  9. LOL I'm a bit late but this is hilarious xD
  10. I'm surprised a lot of people have easy experiences with most Gym Leaders... because I always end up with at least two fainted Pokemon (except the battles with Radomus and Shelly in my third round).
  11. Slightly changing the topic.. what do you guys think caused the giant ice blocking the way to Ametrine? PULSE Avalugg?
  12. This probably depends a lot on the player's team - but what Gym Leader have you personally found hardest/easiest to defeat? My top 3 (not in any order) would be Serra, Luna and Corey/Noel. Serra was tough because of that friggin Cloyster. As much as I love Ice Pokemon (in fact, Cloyster is among my favorites), its 5-hit Icicle Spears just made me curse it. And WHY does it have to a Focus Sash?? The rest of her team was alright I guess. Lapras and Froslass were pretty tough - but not as annoying as her Cloyster. Luna had a trio of deadly Pokemon - Tyranitar, Malamar and Honchkrow. Personally, the Malamar was the most difficult to get rid of - due to its ability. And we all know about Corey's Crobat and Noel's Cinccino/Swellow I've done 3 playthroughs so far - but never have I defeated them with more than 1 Pokemon alive in the end. I shudder to think how many attempts I would have needed if Serra's team wasn't nerfed. Easiest = Radomus and Julia

    Mamoswine OP?

...did I just read that correctly?
  14. You forgot the one that involved the Miltank nuzzling up to Tauros and Tauros breathing down on Miltank's neck........................ My favorite moment is probably all the dialogue in the backroom of the circus before facing Samson xD. Those conversations were hilarious

    Chrysolia Cave

Hmm actually the entrance opened up for me when I defeated Serra. Although defeating the PULSE Abra will make the entrance easier to access
  16. You have to clear every obstacle in the South Aventurine Woods. Stock up on some Honey - and get Heracross/Pinsir to clear spider webs and logs for you. It's pretty straightforward
  17. One thing I noticed in Reborn was the unique title each Gym Leader gets. I was trying to list them all (out of procrastination) but I can't seem to remember all of them. Could someone lend me a hand? Julia - Cheer Captain Florinia - Head Instructor Corey - Agent Shelly - Bookworm Shade - Entity (I LOVE THIS ONE!) Kiki - Sensei Aya - Wasteland Punk Serra - Beauty Queen Noel - Prodigy Radomus - Grand Master Luna - Dark Dreamer (personal favorite) Samson - Strongman Charlotte - Firebug Victoria - Apprentice Cain - Pretty Boy Fern - Swag Jockey (Grasshole) El - Parson Bennett - Lepidopterist ZEL & Taka & Sirius - Meteor Admin Solaris - Meteor Leader Sigmund - Dr. If theres someone I forgot, please mention it in the comments - and any speculation on the remaining characters will be appreciated also. (I'm curious about Saphira - she's my favorite Reborn character after all xD I hope it's not something like Sexy Model)
  18. Playthrough 1 = Greninja or Arcanine Playthrough 2 = Gardevoir Playthrough 3 = Alakazam
  19. I agree. Shelly was much harder in previous episodes. Her previous team members were better threats (Dwebble and Scyther) than the ones that they were replaced with (Illumise and Anorith). I'm quite happy with the difficulty of the Gym Leaders. Of course as you do more runs of the game, you know all their strategies so the battles get slightly easier, but on the first encounter... yeah a lot of rage is experienced. Now if only the Leaders were capable of using Revives... oops Zoroark is actually more useful with Radomus. Triple Boost with Nasty Plot due to Field Effect = Easy Win.
  20. This amount of speculation is getting me excited for the upcoming episodes so much xD. I'm really curious on how everything will work out in the end. Yes I agree that Solaris has the highest chance to become the Champion out of the Meteor Leaders. Can't really describe it logically, but I can just see him as Champion. Lin's gonna die soon, according to Shade's Gym (although I have a different theory on this too) - so I don't think she's going to be the Champion Urgh Fern becoming the Champion... that makes sense but its disgusting xD
  21. I still don't see why the Meteor Admins/Semi-Leaders(?) cannot be Champion candidates though. Alright, let's exclude Blue and N out of the frame for the moment. In all the Pokemon games, we fight the evil team leaders multiple times - and their levels increase from battle to battle, which means that Solaris (I'm just going to say Solaris here, because I'm pretty sure Zel or Sirius can be ruled out... or can they?) could still be the Champion. He does have a pseudo (that friggin Garchomp) - which I think is what you believe a Champion should have (by the way, Haxorus is not a pseudo. It is commonly mistaken for one though). Also, Wallace doesn't have a pseudo in his team either (he's still a Champion xD) I wonder who has the 'power' to kick someone off the Elite Four. Obviously, El is involved in this - but I doubt he could have done it alone. EDIT: Ninja'd
  22. Are you sure you have done the light tube puzzle correctly? A secret door should appear near the light tubes - where Corey should be waiting
  23. I think I recall someone saying that you can go over Level 100 in Reborn. Largely speaking, I don't think Solaris/Zel/Sirius can be ruled out as Champion candidates just because they don't have super powerful Pokemon when we battle them. I mean, look at Gary from FRLG. We battled him several times along the journey with so-called 'not champion-worthy' Pokemon - and he ended up being Champion. Same applies for N in BW. Having said that though, I definitely wouldn't consider Zel or Sirius to be Champion (that would actually surprise me). In fact, Zel hasn't made an appearance for a while now (still don't get how he/she works. Three minds fused into one body?) I agree with you on Team Meteor being linked to the League though. Elias does seem to be part of the E4 (probably one of the higher ranks) - and I think Blake is also part of the E4 - and judging from Solaris's dialogue, he seems to be well acquainted with him. Maybe Laura got 'fired' because she was the only member of the E4 not directly linked to Meteor?
  24. Ah yes, I just went through that part just now. So he may be part of the E4 after all. What made me hesitant to put him in the E4 in the first place was the reason you have stated. Surely he couldn't just replace his fellow member of the same status (Laura). But yeah, that part kinda ticked me off. I hope I can kick his ass soon or Radomus can just hypnotize him again
