    How would you beat a bug type gym that uses a rock/grass pokemon with 80-140-130 defenses and is under perpetual sandstorm due to gen V mechanics? ideas?

      ...No toxic spike I'm guessing. My advice is to bring something bulky and slowly chip its defense down (that's how I beat Curse Cradily with Wartortole).

      Sadly, no, no toxic spikes. The bulkiest thing on my team will take ages to level up, but I guess that's my only way out. I mean, check this bullshit:

      -4 Accuracy, it still hits rollout 4 times in a row.

      -Paralyzed, only triggers once.

      -Poison sting hits 8 times and none poisons it.

      -Did I mention the fucking sandstorm raises its SpD 50%?
