Nagi looked at the kid who was definitely in shock after killing somebody else for the first time. It was definitely something she knew the feeling of all too well. She had definitely not dealt with it well when it happened to her. Otherwise, she would not have been here. But, even then, she had been a magus for a fair amount of time before it happened to her. This girl was likely not even a month in with her powers and she was being forced to see a grim reality. No matter how much Nagi liked to distance herself from others, she sure as hell did not want to see someone driven to a similar path as her own.
"Look, kid. You can still remember the impression you had when you sliced into his flesh, right? Then let that memory stick. The fact that you can react like this means you at least have some understand the weight of another person's life, after all. You have yet to fall far enough to become a someone like me who drenched in the blood of others." Nagi tried her best to say something comforting…tried to. Of course, the assassin was never the best when it came to comforting others.
After finishing her little speech to Kindle, she let the transformation break and returned to her normal form. "Mage hunters, huh. Yet they couldn't even mask their presence. What kind of hunter or assassin can't even…" She trailed off before realizing she was going off on a tangent. "The possibility of an impending faction war is starting to get worse and worse if the Peacekeepers are attacking a Preserver Lieutenant, huh…"
She gave a quick frown and sat down on the couch where she was sitting before. "Then, let's continue setting up this meeting. Last I remember you were positing conditions."
