  1. The meganekko shall never lose her glasses. For the meganekko, such would be blasphemy. :3
  2. There was a throbbing sensation in Yuzuki's head, stabbing inwards into her brain. The sense of pain brought her mind into enough consciousness that she could be considered awake. The muscles on her face began to twitch slowly, as she winced in pain. As her eyes slowly began to open, the light of the sun began to stab into her retinae. Her mind was telling her to just shut her eyes back down as the pain continued to throb in her head. Sleeping it off would be the best course of action, right? Headaches generally went away with time, after all. But...why did she have a headache to begin with? Moreover, what was this grainy feeling on the side of her face? The last thing she remembered was hot air and the brilliant golden light. The moment her brain hit on these thoughts, Yuzuki's awareness completely returned. She opened her eyes and slowly lifted her head and upper body up enough until she was in sitting position. As she looked in front of her, all she could see was the sand and the sea that spread out in front of her. Upon closer inspection, she noticed a trail in the sand leading up to where she was sitting. Most likely somebody had dragged her out of the water. Someone had saved her from floating on or drowning inside the sea in front of her by dragging her ashore. That much was evident. As she looked to her sides, she noticed the other trainers who had been on the ship were lying in a row with her at the center. "It's like a row of corpses at a disaster site..." She muttered. She then stood up while smacking sand off of her long coat and cheek, noticing the uncomfortable feeling of sand in her boots and on her clothes. She searched around her person and found Natsuki's Pokeball safely tucked away inside one of her coat pockets. Even if her bag was missing, at least she still had not been separated from Natsuki...or her glasses for that matter. She could search for her bag later. The first thing she needed to do was get all of the sand out from underneath her clothes. She stepped back a few steps, unzipped her boots, took off one and kept her leg raised as she patted down her stockings and then tapped as much sand as she could out of the boot. Afterwards, she simply repeated with her other foot. She then took off her coat and sweater, and wiped off the sand from the white camisole she had not removed, waved off the sand that was on her skirt, and waved off whatever sand was on the clothes she had taken off before putting them back on. As soon as she had stretched a bit to make sure she had gotten rid of almost all of the sand, she looked back to the other six. "So…what now...?"
  3. Isolda Grace, Lilith. Time: 1st day of the Year of Rebirth. Afternoon 1:32 PM "A Drake smashing a hole in the castle walls…I guess that does somewhat explain why he would be angry about someone looking up some book about the Castle's construction…" She sighed before looking at her reflection on the surface of the wine and then back at Lilith. "I do appreciate you keeping those books together. It saves me the trouble of having to go look for them again." She took another small sip of the wine. Lilith was right about the general emptiness of the library though. As much as she did not really pay attention to her surroundings when she was reading, it was rare for anyone, if at all to come into that area. She was definitely grateful for that. It meant no books would be out of place and she could read in silence. She then took the glass off of her lips and then looked back to Lilith's form. "Though, why did you rush all the way here? Surely the apology could have waited until I next came to the library. There really was no need to rush here in a completely different outfit to apologize."
  4. So, if anyone has been paying attention to my statuses, then you can tell that I have a new animu that I have fallen in love with. What is it, exactly? Introducing: Kara no Kyoukai: Garden of Sinners So, what is Kara no Kyoukai (aka Boundary of Emptiness)? Kara no Kyoukai is one of TYPE-MOON's earliest works, written as a Light Novel (which I have yet to read) and as a prototype to TYPE-MOON's later works such as Tsukihime, FSN, and Mahou Tsukai no Yoru. It was later adapted by famous Unlimited Budget Works studio: ufotable into multiple movies, one for each full chapter in the novels. DISCLAIMER: As of now, I have only watched 6 out of the 8 movies. The story is set in the Late 1990s in a nameless Japanese city and chronicles the mysterious, paranormal events surrounding Koukutou Mikiya and Ryougi Shiki. The story is told through these movies in a non-linear fashion while jumping back and forth within the timeline of events. Honestly, I'm not sure what else more I can say about this story without spoiling it. The art and animation is beautiful, much like one would expect of ufotable and the Yuki Kajiura soundtrack is the best I've heard of her compositions surpassing even Madoka's and F/Z's soundtracks while beautifully melding with the atmosphere of the movies to create a stimulating and breathtaking experience. I would highly recommend anyone who has liked any of TYPE-MOON's works to give this a go as it is a one-of-a-kind experience.
  5. Isolda Grace. Time: 1st day of the Year of Rebirth. Afternoon 1:32 PM There was always an unsettling ambiance emitted by a girl who looks to be only twelve drinking wine. The sight of a girl who looked that young drinking any form of alcohol would be off-putting to most who saw it. Whenever she wandered from place to place before coming to the Castle, Isolda could recall frequent instances of being unable to drink anything due to the fact that she was twelve. Humans were never too willing to provide a twelve-year old girl with alcohol, after all. While it was expected for a fragile and short-lived species as humans, she could not help but be annoyed with that fact. After all, consumption of alcohol of any kind did not affect an undead the same way it did humans. She could not develop the cirrhosis of liver that humans would if they over consumed it or even consumed it at a young age. After all, her body was stagnant. Unaging. It stood at the boundary of the living and the dead. There was a certain level of emptiness one could feel while standing at that boundary and not even alcohol could dull that sensation. Nevertheless, she still continued to slowly drink the wine that was in her glass. After all, the bar was going nowhere and she had years to contemplate her life.
  6. I wanna one day rewatch the entirety of Kara no Kyoukai while eating a big tub of Häagen-Dazs Strawberry Ice Cream.

There…is a reason why I said Häagen-Dazs Strawberry Ice Cream specifically. Though, you'd have to at least watch the first movie to get it. I'd highly recommend watching it though.

It's where my avatar comes from. It's a good series of movies though I have a couple more left to finish.

Yea, I'm jsut lazy as hell.

  7. Enjou Tomoe is the true hero of KnK5 Paradox Spiral. I won't let anyone else say otherwise.

Q: When Shiki was attacked by ghosts in the hospital, was that because it’s a place that naturally attracts that sort of thing? Or, was it Araya’s doing? <Path of Carnage> Nasu: Of course, it’s all Araya’s fault. The American subprime crisis and the fact that DDD Volume 3 still isn’t on sale are both Araya’s fault too. Look, I’ve got the evidence right here. Araya Souren’s name is right here on the imprint at the back of DDD Volume 2…!! Takeuchi: DDD not coming out is probably about 80% because of your own procrastination, though. You’re blaming Araya too much. Nasu: Uwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! (He’s running away…)
  9. Kara no Kyoukai 5: Paradox Spiral was absolutely amazing. I love it.

    1. Sheep

      Sheep

Hell yeah it was. Probably my second favorite Kara no Kyoukai movie.

  10. I would say, let's get on with the explosions and shipwrecks and stuff but that's just me. :3
  11. Four movies in and I am absolutely in love with Kara no Kyoukai. Out of all of TYPE-MOON's works, this is so far my favorite.

  12. Out of the first three Kara no Kyoukai movies, it's odd that the one that opens with the antagonist getting raped is the one with the happiest ending...

  13. 10/10 Reminds me of the Palkia figurine sitting on my desk raising its arms.
  14. 8/10 Cute, albeit kinda scaled a bit small
  15. *watches the first two minutes of Kara no Kyoukai 3: Remaining Sense of Pain* Well…that opening scene was…awkward...

  16. Heh. Don't worry about comedy. There will be little breathers though sparse they may be (though, that also depends on where you decide to go). This is a ToAru-verse RP so the absurd nature of this series is something I will definitely be trying to shine through in this RP. EDIT: As for walls, go with reinforced concrete. I should have mentioned this earlier.
  17. Kara no Kyoukai 2 complete. Why does Satsujin Kousatsu Part 2 have to be episode 7 instead of episode 3…I have to wait 4 more episodes before we get any closure on this…Stupid non-chronological broadcast order...

  18. 8/10 Allen Walker, huh…the image is too thin though.
  19. Here I am looking outside my window at the snow piling up and realizing that I'm probably in one of the last places in the city the snow plows go through.

  20. So, if I misinterpreted and Kindle is not attacking Faust, let me know. I'll fix my post up.
  21. There was no way that man was going to escape. Nagi had no understanding of the space she was in and she was sure that none of the assailants really understood the nature of that space. It was unlikely the other gunman was going to escape. However, that did not mean she could not try and apprehend the runner. Since she was in midair, it seemed the lightning user did not pay any attention to her. Instead, he seemed to be focused on Hikaru. She could jump down and attack him while he was unaware but it would probably be better to go after the other gunman instead. She ignored Faust, Hikaru, and Kindle as she dropped onto the ground. Her knees bent as she crouched down for a single dash aimed directly towards the retreating enemy. In that moment, she propelled herself, quickly closing the gap between the two with minimal effort. As her foot landed on the ground in front of him, Nagi raised her fist, readying a punch aimed directly at his abdomen in hopes of pinning him to the ground. The nitrogen armor on her fist thickened and hardened before she unleashed a heavy fist towards the man.
  22. Kara no Kyoukai has an…odd mystique to it. Can't really put my finger on it.

  23. I'm finally going to watch Kara no Kyoukai.
