I have no plans to add TR's. TM's will stay the same.
The entire game (SWSH) was built around raids and getting TR's by spamming raids with friends or what have you.
Since Rejuv is not built around raids, the system of TR's and the shortening of movesets for certain Pokemon should not, and will not apply here.
Adding old tms to new Pokemon is a brand new conversation, though. One that I am not too sure on myself.

SpoilerIf you've been keeping up with Generation 8, you might've heard or seen stuff about the new Wild Area. If you're unfamiliar with this, the Wild Area is a big and wide open space that has a variety of Pokemon based on location, and weather.
Wild Area:
The Reservoir:
What is the Reservoir? It's a giant and wide open area that expands over time. Route 4 never had a good design because at the time, I had no idea what to do with it.
One of the only areas that wasn't planned out at all. You can tell that much from just playing through it. So I transformed it into something with substance,
A place you can actually do things in.
What's different?
Well, for one, the place is absolutely massive. One of the largest areas in the game, actually. The path to Akuwa Town is short and simple, but once you start exploring,
a whole new world is opened up to you. I don't want to show the entire map, but here's a little bit of context on how big this map is:
This small snip-it is only about 1/8th of the place.
It's pretty empty right now as most of it isn't even evented, however, I have a lot of plans for this place.
What are the benefits of being here?
Nothing is set in stone as this is pretty early on, but, this is what I have in mind:Everything in the Reservoir has scaling:
- Levels
- Exp growth
- IV's
- Shiny Rate
- Money Gain
Knowing all this is great and all, but how exactly will they scale? As of right now, the plan is to have playtime influence scalings. Although that is the plan, I am aware of how easily this can be abused.
One could just afk on a new file and run into level 80 mons without even facing Valarie. I have a few ideas to prevent this, but I shall share those at another point.

Hey, so it's been a while and I realize there hasn't been many updates on what's going on, so I'm writing this up to shed some light. A sort of mini Q&A.
Why is development slower than usual?
- TL:DR, I've been in a pretty poor spot health-wise, which has resulted in me barely working on the game. Motivation and energy are very low right now so it's hard to do more than one or two events a day.
I'm trying to do as much as I can, but I ask that you be patient with me during this cycle. I'll get back into the groove of things sooner or later.Why is this thread locked?
- I don't necessarily like this thread being locked, but based off previous threads eventually turning into nothing but off-topic conversations, posts that say nothing but "x% hype!!", and the occasional impatient user asking why such and such isn't out yet,
I've decided that this is the best course of action, at least for now. It also makes archiving and viewing posts much easier.
Even if development is slow, don't you have something to show?
- So, you're right, I do have things to show, and I will admit, a downside to this thread being locked is that I don't have a reason to check it unless significant progress has been made, and as such a lot of the juicier updates are posted on my Patreon. I've neglected this thread quite a bit, and that's why I'm writing up this post right now. I have to make more of a conscious effort to update the public whenever I can. Soooooo, from now on, one week after a post has been made on Patreon, I will then update everyone on here.
I have exciting things to share with you, but I don't want to just text dump after doing this mini Q&A... So I'll leave you with this.

PBS Files are finally up! There WILL be a patch 2 sometime tomorrow, but it will be small and mostly focus on fixing the Black/White flute issue.
This closes out V12 finally. Onto V13.

5. How are hard is it going to be sprite all the gen 8 Pokemon from scratch add abilities, move sets and implement them into old and new areas. Are you going to add additional gen 8 features as well?
6. Was Pokemon rejuvenation intentionaly made to give off an anime feel? It just gives off the feeling, with charcter interactions and such implying the latter, same with the story and the format of the game ("arcs"). Many people are also asking for romance. We get our starter 1 hour into the game and there are many segments were its just story with there being an apparent lack of gameplay, the game also contains tons of text (also before battles your screwed if you lose, for example ryland battle if you lose you have to spam a).
Thank you very much for creating this amazing, and innovative game it provides a unique view on the Pokemon world an experience the main series could not emulate. The sprites, art, story are all fantastic.
What is every developers favorite part of Pokemon rejuvenation?
1.) Mm, I actually haven't been writing as I go since V6 (Which is Amber's Gym). I have a loooong txt file on my desktop that has the story completely written out, and I've been going from there. Updating past areas never change the narrative. All I do when revamping an area is taking that part of the story, improving it, but never ever changing the base line of it. Ren did not join Team Xen as an act of revenge on the player. When you go into Wispy Ruins, you see Crescent stop him to chat, after that he's brought to her domain which is shown in V11. He says it quite clearly that he would never join until it meant reviving a friend. But yeah I agree that he probably should've shown up more, there just wasn't much space for him to exist until v11. From V5 he's off to GDC, and it takes 4 versions to get there, the next one deals with other issues, and then v11. Part of the reason why I think it feels like he was gone for so long was the wait between versions. Now if you play the game through it doesn't actually take that long. Oh well, knowledge for future games!
-Leaving a criminal organization on a whim sounds nice, but even irl if you just left there would be dire consequences. Usually with you ending up dead.
-There are quite a few hints on Amanda being "dubious", Visually and in text. in game Jan mentions that Amanda has disappeared for 3 weeks without contact and mentions her new hat as she has never been seen with one before. In the OG build mentioned before, she was just a double agent. In current rejuv she's an android because I like being extra and pushing the boundaries xd.

6.) Nah, I just like animating sprites. I like being extra and flexxing-- It just sorta turned into whatever it is now.

Good question. One thing I don't like, and it's probably an unpopular opinion, but for this particular game I wish I didn't do Gyms. Of course I did them because it was the easy thing to fall under, but yeah. I don't really regret it, they just get in the way sometimes and break the flow. I'd rather just put an end of chapter boss or something. I'd probably also redo the whole layout of the first island too. You can just tell it was constructed without any rhyme or reason. Conversely it's my favorite island so /shrug.

Since Ren pointed out the MC's voice was different than the usual when we got possessed by probably Adrest (I know possessed may not be the best word to describe it but i'm dumb)

1.) Cleffa is in jail because she is part of the Yakuza. She has committed tax fraud, money laundering and Grand Theft Pokemon. She has been Caught and Detained and she will never be free again to roam the streets.... probably.
2.) Espurr/Growlithe. I stayed up all night doing Espurr's because I had so much fun making it!
3.) My favorite scene is when the gang on Terajuma realize they have to walk through the jungle after the teleporter randomly dies on them. They all have a mental breakdown in unison.
4.) All the characters are in the game except one and her name is Darcy. She was supposed to be Volta's assistant but Volta's role was changed quite a bit anyway so her existence kinda went in the trash. I could bring her back for a future sidequest! Ryland was redesigned completely. Before he was mostly how Flora is now. I changed him because having one Flora is enough.
Other notable mentions from the OG build:
-Damien was also much more of a jerk and physically tried to hurt you for info.
-Amber never improved.
-Reina had a personality similar to Shelly. Meek and shy. She also wasn't a twin.
-Ren never got his redemption.
-Valarie and Adam both never appeared after disappearing from Route 7.
-Neved was just greedy and didnt have a daughter.
-Angie was never freed.
-Beth was a main character.
-Geara was fine after Valor.
-Aelita was stabbed instead of going comatose.

When Karen performed her spell improperly, her mind was damaged. If Karen bathes in the Spring of Rejuvenation, would it heal her damaged mind? If not, it is because it's too much damage for the spring to heal or is it because the spring only works on the body, rather than the mind?
The spring only heals someone physically, not mentally. Karen would have to do a lot more to go back to normal. She had medication for it but after taking iti for so long her body became immune to its effects.

Also note that going up the ladder triggers the Jenner cutscene and the player still enters through the front. Patch v12.1 is out! Going to monitor this patch for a few days before I go ahead and upload the PBS files.
This will likely be the only patch this version as it handles most of the bigger issues. If anything else needs to be dealt with, Patch v12.2 will come out in a few days
as well.

I know. For you, and everyone else who has this issue. Simply go into your graphics folder, Graphics/Pictures and delete files BladestarTransmission and BladestarTransmission_2. Then try again.

I can't get past the first battle of the game as i soft reset for a Popplio and went into the battle with the first trainer. Hm... This is usually a very broad error. Can you find your save file, rename it to something else, then load again? Tell me what heppens when u do.

V16 is the final episode, yes. That includes the end game + post game.

Also, this is more of a general question. If a trainer is mute, how would they instruct a Pokemon during a battle?
Ren did have feelings for her at some point, but after all the business he's been through... I don't think he's ready to love someone right now, or for a long time.
Risa will be appearing more in the story now, yes!
And finally, the "mute" is in insult at them rarely speaking. They do speak, but usually one off phrases/expressions.

They hate each other because each one thinks the other are responsible for the event (When in reality it was none of them)

Neverwinter is the name of a city in the Artrica Region. People just refer to it as Neverwinter in general because the island is very small.

Won't go into too much detail, but they're from Zumi's cancelled fangame Pokemon Xenogene. She handed me the rights to the assets since she won't be using them anymore.

As of right now there are currently 43 fields in total in the game, and while some have seen more representation than the others (for obvious, understandable reasons, and I have little doubt that all of them will be shown at one point of the game or another, eventually) there are some fields that feel so much stronger while some of the others seem really underpowered *cough*starlight arena being simply nullified by any weather *cough* (on a glance anyway, I have seen plenty of boss battles convince me otherwise) . Are you satisfied with the current state of the fields on the whole, or do you think some of them could use reworks (small or massive alike) to feel more in line with the others? Is field balance even a concern regarding the overall balance of the game, or is it fine for some fields to be better overall while others are on the weaker side? Also, are there any plans for more fields to be added in the future?
This one is a bit more story related, but is Alexandra actually the champion like it has been rumored by many? If yes, will she bring this up sometime later on in the story? And if not, will we get to meet whoever the actual champion is before battling them at the league?

Release depends on the scope of the episode. V11 took almost a year. V12 took half a year. With Gen 8 and some things I have planned, it may take a long time again. We'll see though.
As for fields, we're constantly changing things. Just a version ago we did a massive overhaul of the Volcanic Top field. Some fields like Starlight will probably get a change as well but as for specifics, I can't really say. We do have a few new fields in mind, but there won't be a ton left more. Probably 2 or 3. But that can always change.

We decide based off personality, type preference, design, story. Some teams parallel each other to match each other. Like Zetta's shiny type:null/Silvally and Melia's general shiny team.
I worry a bit but I do like the challenge. Character switching was designed to handle multiple threads and so far I think it's worked out pretty nicely. I don't expect it to be too hard from here on out now that we got a lot out of the way!

We all know that there is some kind of problem when in battles, there is a small amount of time between the moment you select an attack and the animation. The thing is, somehow that time increased a lot in my game, and when i resetted the game, a pokemon that fainted in battle was asleep and with the health bar in red. The rest of my team (which was at full health) appeared with the health bar at red, excepting for one pokemon.

This could be caused by a number of things. Namely computer strength. I recommend closing out some things to see if that helps.
