As someone who snitched on Flora, is this episode any different if you sided with Bladestar?

I sided with Flora whenever possible and I'm pretty sure the story plays out exactly the same. She still completely hates me, says she should have killed me back at the forest, the plan falls apart after the phone call and she gets arrested. I assume that's what happens either way since nothing even remotely resembling friendliness with Flora happened in this version.

If you're talking about Beth whose right beside the water you need to Dive in to get to the Goomy city, then nope it didn't work.

It was a male farmer standing there for me so that's interesting. You did do the Inkey quest at the farm where you set up fake Miltanks for them to abduct right? If yes then I'm out of ideas other than trying the same things again in the off chance something worked.

I'm pretty sure I've done all that and I still can't get in.

The one with the Inkey's and Dr. Jenkel (or whatever his name is) where they are kidnapping the miltanks? If yes, maybe try talking to the farmer guy in Honec woods before going off to the Goomy city.

He should be there close to the ranch entrance but I'm not sure if it's quest related. Still might be worth a shot.

Also at the castle make sure you try to go through the door, don't just talk to the guards.

You're thinking of Nim and then Nancy.

Melia avoided detection because Neved was an absolute moron and then showed up at the end and took all attention away from Nancy being killed.

Didn't even unmask Madame X while she was lying there vulnerable. It's like she's never seen Scooby Doo.

Didn't she hack the lasers to paralyze Madame X or something? It's been a while since I've played it but I'm positive she did something to help you there otherwise what would be the point of sending her in the first place.

I need special permission, i can;t get in without that because of the guards

Oh yea you probably need to do the ranch quest first so the guy will let you in. As for how to do that, you probably need to have completed all the help center requests so the Inkey sub plot will progress.  After that you probably just talk to the people at the ranch and the quest will start. Not entirely sure, it's been a while.

I don't know what to do since the goomy with hair is still in his house, he was in the dive spot and now is in the house and doesn't do anything when i talk to him

Go into the castle first. It's very big and at the top of the village. In there you talk to the Goodra king/queen, then the princess, then back to the goomy and the quest will progress.

  7. Spoiler

It was so easy compared to all the trick room stuff and even those security drones gave me more trouble. I had no idea it was even a gym battle until they just gave me a badge later on. For the battle I just used the team I had on me and my Diggersby OHKO-ed the mega Camerupt. I think I killed the Torterra with 2 flash cannons after noticing that it resisted my ice moves for some reason. Gliscor definitely just died to ice beam. I think Excadrill died to EQ from Swampert after failing to kill it first. Nidoqueen maybe ice beam?

It's obvious from the fact that I can't even remember all his mons that I didn't have much trouble with the fight. Meanwhile I can tell you exactly how my 30 battles again Nim went. I lost twice to hydro pump misses on the Solrock thing and then I just got pissed and won with calm mind Sylveon which just tanks everything and stalls out trick room. After that it was a sweep.

I found goomidra in honec woods, what do i do to continue.

    Spoiler

If he ran off already then go to Venam's gym. If not then go into the castle, talk to the king and queen, then talk to the princess, then go talk to the hero goomy in his house, then he'll run off after you beat him and go to Venam's gym.

    Where did you find it?

In the pyramid near the top where the spring water is stored before it's purified and released into the spring. Just surf over it and the stick is on the ground. No idea what it does though.

  10. Obviously your reward for winning all those battles is Melia's company. What more do you want?

On a serious note, I don't think she shows any real lack of appreciation. Yea not every scene flows perfectly but I think that's more to do with the writing rather than Melia intentionally taking you for granted. True friends help each other out and don't keep score about who's done more for who. But she did save your ass at Blacksteeple castle for what it's worth.

Holy shit, was that insane, like really insane, Amanda is a robot?

I'll try to respond to a few of your points but these quotes are annoying so I won't use any more.

From the dialogue I think the real Amanda isn't a robot but the one we've been seeing is just an imposter.

    " WE CAN TALK? "

That was the biggest mindfuck moment in Rejuv so far.

The Nim fight was so annoyingly hard. You can't prevent her from setting up Trick Room because of that stupid rage powder and the field also blocks priority moves while giving all her mons boosts.

After many attempts (and losing 2 battles because of hydro pump misses) I settled on stalling the trick room out with calm mind Sylveon and it was an easy sweep as soon as it ended.

As for why Nim is working with Crescent, Crescent saved Nim after she got turned to stone and dropped into a volcano then brainwashed her or something and she's been working for Crescent since then.

Regarding the fight vs Melia and Aelita, I figured out what was going on the second I saw the Togekiss. Admittedly the fact that Reborn already did the same thing probably helped. In that situation you should probably back away from everybody and tell them not to draw unless they're you're enemy. If you just fight alone and never lose then it doesn't matter who you're fighting. But  honestly your Pokemon would probably be able to tell. For example I've got a Weavile and a Greninja that are both immune to Psychic attacks.

" As for Isiah, uhhhh, i have no idea what to think, the twist is certainly unexpected "

That part was pretty anticlimactic honestly. Not the reveal itself but the fact that you just have a fairly easy 1v1 battle and I guess Isiah expected you to just stand there like a moron while he does his brain transfer thing. How stupid and incompetent does he think we are? I mean there's 3 of us and he has no Pokemon left. My Weavile could probably kill him with ice shard before he got anywhere near the machine. Not like Ren or Venam needed to show up or really anybody except the player.

Oh and if anybody is wondering what his final warning was about, IT'S THOSE FUCKING INJECTIONS I 100% guarantee it. They were suspicious as fuck from the start and I couldn't believe how stupid our characters were to take them without even questioning it. The entire world is after you at this point and you just let some stranger inject you some unknown liquid. ESPECIALLY Melia with the super special golden injection just for her. I mean come on. Looks like it's gonna bite them in the ass like I expected.

And yea I'm sure Crescent just died off screen. Totally believable.

    A lot of shit has been happening the past two days or so, but to put the long story short;

Someone apparently has managed to plant a keylogger on the shared dev drive and took control of most of our computers. We've managed to remove it from the drive, AFAIK everything's back to working as should and we've tightened up protection so this shouldn't happen again!!

I hope you realize that over half of these people actually believe every word you're saying and aren't just playing along for the lolz.

  13. First of all, what level are you since it should hit 355 speed at level 100. It hits 162 max at level 45 so I don't know what you're calcing but I can only assume your IVs are bad if you're not reaching the correct speed. If you don't know what IVs are go look it up online but it's basically the Pokemons genes and these affect stats.

You can see your Pokemons EV and IVs if you view their stats and click the right arrow key again. 252/31 is what is should say if you want max speed. If you want help, tell me what these numbers are and what level your Pokemon is at. Also make sure it's actually dusk form.

  14. If you can't resolve your problem in game, I suggest just swapping out the sprite names in the actual game files. I had a similar issue and that's what ended up working for me. Just go into the graphics folder, then the characters folder and find the player sprites the game is currently using for you. Find the ones you actually want and rename them to whatever the ones the game is currently using are called.

That should work fine but you'd need to find all the different sprites like walking, biking, fishing, surfing back/front battle sprite for consistency. Even if you miss some, the character would just change while fishing (for example) and then revert right back so it's not that big of a problem.

  15. I'm not sure regarding the relationship value but she asked me that even though I'm playing as a male.

But I'm not sure why it matters. Not going to spoil anything for those who haven't taken the Desert Route with Taka, but if you have taken it, then you know what I mean.

It's possible the points will still impact something whether the character is alive or not. It could affect a different characters dialogue/actions for example.

  16. Just change that Rotom-Heat to Wash. And get a Ferrothorn in there if you're using rain. I recommend PhysDef Rotom with Wisp and SpDef Ferro.

You should also have something that sets up rain other than your actual Swampert. Obviously Pelipper is broken right now or you could just go for the standard Politoed. At the very least something with rain dance.

Gengar is bad now too because it doesn't have levitate so I'd switch it for another thunder abusing electric type. Jolteon maybe or perhaps even a Magnezone. The Noivern is fine but the other 2 don't take advantage of rain at all. The obvious picks are Kingdra, Kabutops, Omastar and Ludicolo with swift swim but I wouldn't mind seeing something like a Swanna with hydration and hurricane either.

Starmie with Tunder is another option. Lastly you could just put a Scizor with superpower on there instead of Medicham because that thing isn't even mega. It would be a nice solution to those dark and fairy types.

  17. Other than the obvious Gardevoir, maybe you could try Alakazam with dazzling gleam? It's fast, hits hard and can also run grass knot. It could also be a potential mega later on in the game. Otherwise Sylveon is really good if you want an actual fairy type that's bulky too.

  18. I'm pretty sure you don't have to put episode 18 events in spoiler tags at this point. In any case I don't see why you'd think they're dead especially in Luna's. She pretty much walked into the black hole on her own and guided you out. At worst she's probably trapped in there and I imagine there will be some way to save her and the others. So the badges are fine.

  19. lol at the "huh?" resetting Melia's points to -1 even though she seemed to instantly get it was a joke anyway. I know I selected that at some point but I guess I must have reset the game since I got the 3rd line anyway. Can't remember what I did for half these other ones except the mandatory battles since I definitely won all of them and completed all the side quests. Guess I'll just replay the game at some point if it turns out I missed too many and messed up the story.

Currently using my Floatzel with Ice Fang for Dragons plus I sometimes use Mawile if I'm in a Dragon heavy area. My Roserade knows Toxic instead of Sleep Powder and it has won me many many battles (Looking at you Valor Summit battle).

Regular Mawile is pretty slow and squishy so you're probably not gonna be able to rely on it later in the game unless we get a mega stone or something. Same with Floatzel unfortunately even though it's faster. There's a reason why they're both in PU. The game does give you a free Sylveon with perfect IVs later on so that could be your dragon counter. If you want a pure ground type that's defensive, Hippowdon is the choice. It also gives you the potential sand set up for later on when we get Excadrill.  Actually Swampert might be really good too.

  21. If you want a good ground type I recommend catching a Hippo. Some other options are Flygon and Mamoswine since I don't see what you can do against dragons.

But if it's between Torterra and Roserade, I'd use Roserade because it's way faster and has access to sleep powder. Torterra kinda sucks honestly.
