Okay, warning. I'm not gonna be around for most of the upcoming week, including this weekend, so I won't be able to post for a while. Just wanted to let you all know.

{Classroom} The headache felt earth shattering. Visions of people being slaughtered appeared before him. Those that weren't brought down by the horrible, terrifying monsters were consumed by the shadowy blue flames. Their screams filled every inch of his mind, along with the grotesque forms of the monsters that were slaying them. The images flashed by him in a matter of seconds, but it seemed like he was trapped in the sick nightmare for hours. When he finally woke up he found himself lying on the floor, clutching his head in pain. He got up, shaking like a leaf and examined the rest of the room. Whether or not his classmates had the same vision he did or they all thought he was crazy, he couldn't tell. He only had enough energy to say, "N-nurse..." as he attempted to scamper out of the classroom. As he passed by the front desk he caught a glimpse of Anna's face... something didn't feel right. He couldn't tell what but he didn't care. He needed to find some pain killers or something as quick as he could. He didn't get far after he made his exit, stopping to kneel and lean against a wall as the pain started to subside. "What... the hell..."

You can't use them at all. You can only use your Starter(s) and the Gym types you unlock.

{Classroom} Paul finally decided to speak his mind after waiting for his turn to chime in. He was interested in what everyone had to say, and while they did bring up good points. They would have to risk their lives in order to get to the bottom of all these strange happenings that have transpired over the past few days. But, honestly, he didn't care. He wanted to find out who was responsible for his teacher's death. And who knows, maybe he'd find something out about Sylvia... "Hey, count me in. I know that we're gonna get ourselves into some danger, but I'm willing to take that risk. We've gotta find the culprit."

{Classroom} Paul was awoken by Ken's sudden announcement to the class. Good thing too, he was having a crazy dream about some weird goddess or something throwing marshmellows at him... frankly, Ken's short speech couldn't have been made quick enough. He only caught a bit of what his fellow student was saying, but he heard enough. He wanted to appoint a leader for some investigation team. But for what? "Oh, duh." he thought to himself as the answer popped in his head. They're probably talking about all the weird stuff that's been goin' on lately. Welp, better just sit here and wait for what he has to say, cuz I'm sure as hell not cut out to be the leader..." He continued to listen to the conversations around him, waiting to see who would become their fearless captain.

I didn't mean to say that he'd wake up and understand all of the info Anna put out there. I'm pretty much on the same page as you are: he missed the boat unless someone relays that info when he wakes up.

HM Slaves are allowed, but ONLY for travelling usage, they aren't allowed to battle. In the event you run into a trainer and are down to your HM Slave, either Soft Reset or wait till they eventually K.O. you. Basically, save often. As for the first gym in Black and White, you're allowed to take the Elemental Monkey gift from the Dreamyard and add it to your team. You will only unlock the specific Gym Leader you fight's Type upon victory, but you'll be allowed to keep the monkey on your team. So, you've probably realized by now that this won't work with EVERY game, only the ones with Gyms of a specific type. So games like XD and Insurgence are out of the picture. Keep that in mind if you attempt to take this challenge on.

I actually had Reborn in mind when making this up, since the player has the potential to unlock ALL of the types. Though it would be even more challenging due to limited party options.

I just chose the Charmander as the example. Free choice over what starter you use is a must for this run... unless you ARE suicidal and want an impossible challenge like that. As for the terms of Eevee and other such evolutions, that totally skipped my mind. So, for evolutions that completely change the Pokemon's type you'll need the badge of the current form they're in to use them, and to evolve them you need the badge that corresponds to your desired evolution's type. So you'll need a Normal badge to catch the Eevee and the Water badge to evolve it into Vaporeon, and it can only stay as an Eevee until you have that Water badge.

Paul's still there, probably absorbing the info being told by everyone in the class. Although it's probably all forming into some crazy dream about Isis challenging him to a duel or something... I'll make him wake up when I feel the time is right... or if someone's loud enough or wakes him up intentionally.

{Classroom} Paul couldn't really pay attention to much today. After the whole incident with Ayatane yesterday, his head was still spinning. The cards, the dark powers they gave, the murder with more to come. All of that crap added with the disturbances at home. Dang, things just kept piling up in Paul's mind. He took out his pack from underneath his desk and plopped it on top, slumping his head on top of it, still exhausted. After Ayatane made his rather flashy exit from the alleyway, Paul had to take a long walk home, as it turned out he had no more money for the bus ride home, and it seemed like no one in particular was open to give him a ride. As this thought returned to mind, he made a somewhat annoyed glance at Zander up in the front of the class for driving off in his scooter without so much as a word to him, Roy and Monika yesterday. He was talking to Anna at the time, so he probably didn't notice, with his back facing him and all. But, he took his eyes off him in the same second, he wasn't really too mad at him. Honestly he was only pissed at his parents for the time being. The way they were taking Sylvia's disappearance was all types of wrong. When Paul had arrived home last night, it was considerably late, at least later than his curfew. What could he say? He was a slow walker, and the long distance home didn't help that fact either. His parents bombarded him with scolding and finger wagging as soon as they heard the front door's lock click. something about, "We can't lose you too!" and "You have to take responsibility for once!" among other, more hurtful things. It really seemed like they blamed HIM for his sister's absence. "Eh, who cares... I just wanna sleep." he thought to himself as he started to take to fall into a nice nap on his surprisingly cozy pack.

I think I've come up with a new special run for Pokemon games, this time with limiting twist. Here are the basic rules and guidelines: 1. Once you pick your Starter, you can only use that Starter until you beat a Gym. You can't catch or use anything else. 2. Once you beat a Gym, you can add ONE Pokemon on that Gym Leader's favored type (ie Roxanne = Rock, Jasmine = Steel, etc). Note, you may only add ONE Pokemon on that type, and it has to be the PRIMARY type of that Pokemon, and it has to be the first one of that type you encounter. 3. Elite Four members can also count in the unlocking of a type, but only if you lose the Elite Four challenge and want to add other members to your team. Only the Elite Four members' types you beat before losing can be used. 4. Nuzlocke rules are also optional, but not required. If a party member dies, you can opt to replace them with a different species of that type, or abandon that type altogether, your choice. 5. Your Starter's type is NOT unlocked until you beat the Gym Leader or Elite Four Member of said type. The Starter is the only exception to the rules. 6. For evolutions that completely change the primary type of the Pokemon (i.e. Eevee, Azurill), you must have the type of badge of their current form to catch and use them. And if you want to evolve it into a different type, you must have that evolution's type badge to proceed with the evolution. *NEW* 7. HM Slaves are allowed, but ONLY for travelling usage, they aren't allowed to battle. In the event you run into a trainer and are down to your HM Slave, either Soft Reset or wait till they eventually K.O. you. So make sure to save often. Say I choose Charmander in a Kanto game. That means I can only use that Charmander until I beat Brock, and when I do beat him, I can now add a Rock Type Pokemon to my team, whenever I run into one. Then once I beat the next Gym Leader, Misty, I can add a Water Type to my team. So, tell me what you think. Any questions? If this has been made before, feel free to tell me so.

{Important Action - Zander, Roy and Monika} "I think it's important we don't let on much. Just try to keep cool." Paul whispered back to Monika. He returned to his normal speaking voice, trying to put on his best cool and collected disposition as he addressed Ayatane. "I'm not sure what to believe at this point, man. Lots of crazy stuff's been goin' on lately, it seems..." Hopefully that was enough to convince the guy. Still, he wasn't too sure if he had said too much... or not enough.

Holding his sword by his side, Chaust couldn't what he was hearing. He barely knew those people left in the village, but he wasn't going to just turn tail and let them die! "I'm with him on this one, there's no way I'm leaving 'till we get them out of there." he said, glancing at Virgil. Frankly, he didn't care what the brash general thought. He left people to die before, never would he make that same mistake again.

{Important Action, Anyone in the Alleyway} "Alright, if if should come down to that, he's all your's." said Paul. He was waiting alongside the other two, trying to listen in on Zander and Ayatane. It seemed as though neither of them knew that the three of them were listening in, which was good. If things started to go South, they might have to make their presence known... but for now, this trio would have to wait.

"Alright, let's go!" said Seth. He rushed down the steps as fast as he could with Giga close behind him. They took out any acolytes that stood in there way with ease, hoping that the others could keep up.

Edited my post as well, sorry for all this mess. I've been dealing with some shit irl myself that's been irking me and forgot about the rules. Again, I'm really sorry and I'll try not to screw up again.

Oh, as a side note, Giga only killed the Ariados that was clinging to his back. All the other Pokemon he beat are just unconscious.
