  1. ..I can just post the entire team he has right now. I've yet to add this to the guide, so consider yourself special for getting an exclusive preview n__n Rotom - Electric/Ghost (Level 34) - Ability: Levitate - Item: Leftovers Hex/Confuse Ray/Thunder Wave/Electro Ball Chandelure - Ghost/Fire (Level 38) - Ability: Flame Body - Item: Sitrus Berry Flame Burst/Shadow Ball/Confuse Ray/Energy Ball Golett - Ghost/Ground (Level 36) - Ability: No Guard Magnitude/Shadow Punch/Dynamic Punch/Curse Corey (Gengar) - Ghost/Poison (Level 37) - Ability: Levitate Shadow Ball/Hypnosis/Dream Eater/Hidden Power Fighting Gourgeist - Grass/Ghost (Level 35) - Ability: Insomnia - Item: Leftovers Shadow Ball/Phantom Force/Leech Seed/Confuse Ray Spiritomb - Ghost/Dark (Level 35) - Ability: Pressure Nasty Plot/Shadow Ball/Hypnosis/Dream Eater This is pretty much his set-up. I've only just managed to beat Corey with a 3 of my 6 Pokémon nearing level 40, Kirlia being a Trace scout at level 34 and Noibat being a Frisk scout at level 36. I used Greninja/Azumarill/Helioptile/Growlithe throughout the entire battle. Growlithe helped against Golett because of Intimidate and Crunch, Greninja pretty much used Water Pulse/Smack Down and Round to avoid Shadow Balls completely. Rotom is a very fast lead, it can use Thunder Wave on anything that outspeeds it so it can combo you with Electro Ball (Electro Ball does more damage if the user outspeeds the target). I'd keep going with describing the entire team, but I think this is pretty much enough of a spoiler to set yourself up for a strategy to get around everything, right? That, and it's 3 AM when this is posted. ~Dashie

  5. Her Cradily doesn't have Rock Slide. It has Smack Down. In fact, that's the only attacking move it has, unless you count Sandstorm. I have to disagree with the Toxic Spikes though. Granted it'll widdle down everything but her Breloom gradually, 2 layers doesn't help. Her Breloom has Poison Heal and Spore, along with Mach Punch and Grass Knot. Grimer would wall it, but Sludge would potentially Poison it. Granted Grimer would take out Breloom relatively easy. On top of that, 1 layer of Toxic Spikes gradually does 12.5% or 12% damage per turn, while 2 layers would need 3 turns to catch up to the damage 1 layer would do. Quick sketch; 1 layer Toxic Spikes scenario: Trubbish used Toxic Spikes Cacnea uses Sandstorm Trubbish uses w/e move to take out Cacnea That's 3-4 turns at most to take out Cacnea and to set up 1 layer 2 layer Toxic Spikes scenario: Trubbish used Toxic Spikes Cacnea uses Sandstorm Trubbish used Toxic Spikes Cacnea uses Leech Seed Trubbish uses w/e move to take out Cacnea That's.. 6-7 turns at most to take out Cacnea for 2 layers It's pretty much to hasten to pace of battle, if you want to call it that. Which is the next issue; You want to take out everything she has asap. The Cradily issue is really not a big deal at all. Have you read the piece I wrote on Cradily in my guide? Have you seen the extremely easy solution to get past that Cradily? All you need is a Hariyama, which evolves at 24, 1 level under the current badge cap up to this point. At 24, you'll have Knock Off/Fake Out/Vital Throw/Arm Thrust available to you. In fact; Copy/paste from the guide; If you have something with Toxic Spikes, by all means, I encourage you to not set them up unless you can take out Breloom in 1 or 2 hits. Aside from that, Toxic Spikes is highly advised for this battle. She'll try to send out Cradily early in the battle, all it can and will do- Is Curse/Sandstorm/Recover. If it gets the chance to attack with Smack Down after it gets up 2 or 3 Curses, you're pretty much done if you don't have a Fighting-type. Spoiler Makuhita evolves very early (Level 24) and it has good Attack, plus it has access to Knock Off and Vital Throw (never misses, but you move last), making it a very viable Pokémon for this Wall-dily. Props to Vinny for this, he made me go back for a Makuhita. I'm sorry, but your strategy has too many variables for me to find it useful, it relies on a core of 3 Pokémon. What if 1 or 2 of those Pokémon faint before having done their task? Soft-reset until you succeed? This can cause people to rq as well, you know. Again, this is my personal opinion and shouldn't be taken as criticism or negativity, despite the fact that it might look like it. I'd just listen to Vinny and grab a Makuhita to make your life easier on the Cradily. ~Dashie
  6. Guess I'll keep an eye on the chat for a little bit and see where that takes everything. :x I keep forgetting about the Ignore thingy.
  7. Don't strain yourself if you can't. That makes sense, but it doesn't fix the "troll" issue- :l
  8. I've posted a video link to Nickaboo92's video guide tutorial and followed the exact same steps he made to get that puzzle working.. o-o Check out the spoiler and video link, if that doesn't work still let me know, I'll check if I didn't mess up somewhere. :x
  9. Unfortunately, I have to take a short break with the guide to progress further into Reborn itself. Can't have a guide without making progress and whatnot, right? XD On another note; The screenshots I've currently made with hidden items- Would you guys like me to put them in a .rar file and upload them somewhere for convenience purposes? 'Cause I'd edit them in, but they just appear so randomly. Or I could have a word with Ikaru/Ame to make yet another topic solely used for hidden items, though I don't think that's the best idea. Just give me the word and I'll put them in a .rar file available for download. Screenshots will have location and item name in the image name themselves, for easy searching convenience. n__n ~Dashie
  10. I was gonna say, perhaps put Clarice on medium or something, I'm pretty sure that would help out quite a bit- Regardless, I don't want you guys to feel bad or anything that you can't be on at specific times, I just wanted to make a statement ><
  11. I already know what this will be. An OU tourney. >>; Basically you pick one type of each body-type, correct? Sooooo it's just gonna be a "pick the strongest looking things for each body-type" thing. And are Mega-Evolutions allowed or not? And for everyone's sake, I've pointed out what will probably be the commonly picked/most seen Pokémon and listed them by category. Head only: Rotom Cloyster Forretress Ditto Mismagius Klefki Carbink Serpentine bodies: Gyarados Milotic Cresselia Serperior Head and arms: Porygon-Z Thundurus/Tornadus/Landorus Chandelure Head and base: Mismagius Starmie Kingdra Aegislash Kingdra Shedinja Malamar Bipedal, tailed form: Charizard Blastoise Gengar Slowbro Dragonite Mew Azumarill Feraligatr Jumpluff Smeargle Tyranitar Blaziken Nidoking Gengar Clefable Chansey Infernape Garchomp Lucario Weavile Zoroark Haxorus Mienshao Kyurem Diggersby Goodra Head and legs: Porygon2 Quadruped body: Venusaur Pikachu Ninetales Arcanine Vaporeon Jolteon Flareon Typhlosion Espeon Umbreon Raikou Entei Suicune Manectric Absol Salamence Hippowdon Mamoswine Darmanitan Terrakion Landorus-T Keldeo Sylveon Avalugg Single pair of wings: Aerodactyl Articuno Moltres Zapdos Skarmory Swellow Lati@s Flygon Honchkrow Gliscor Mandibuzz Tornadus-T Talonflame Noivern Multiped body: Jellicent Ferrothorn Trevenant Multiple bodies: Metagross Dugtrio Barbaracle Bipedal, tailless form: Alakazam Machamp Pinsir Snorlax Heracross Blissey Celebi Gardevoir Sableye Mawile Medicham Dusclops Jirachi Deoxys Registeel Gallade Victini Excadrill Whimsicott Bisharp Meloetta Genesect Greninja Two or more pairs of wings: Crobat Scizor Ninjask Yanmega Volcarona Insectoid body: Shuckle Crawdaunt Scolipede Galvantula
  12. 1) I'm not posting this because I was being attacked personally, the person in question randomly said "fuck you" to everyone who even said one word. 2) I can understand this is "tame" for some, but imagine having to deal with this almost daily. 3) The main reason I actually posted this is to make auth aware of the things that go on in the PO server when they're not around. Call it backseat-modding or whatever the term was again, I felt like I needed to post this to make the auth aware of these things. And this is exactly what I needed to hear. Fact that you've already tried with a different timezone auth and it having failed is too bad, but you guys at least tried, right? And yeah, it's just something to bring to the attention of the community, 'cause it'd be a shame if these sorta things happen in the PO server, potentially scaring off relatively normal people. >>;
  13. Welp, there's the evidence of the last hour- Along with 2 possible solutions. :x Honestly, I'd just like to see a morning without dumb people either attempting to troll or spam. And this one just- Went too far.
  14. Hey everyone, Dashie here with a troubling situation. It's come to my attention that there's a lack of morning Auth in the Reborn server on PO, which is both troubling and worrying at the same time, and let's not forget annoying as shit. I know it's early for you EST/PST people and you all need sleep and whatnot, but would it not be an idea to get some late-night/morning auth from different timezones? I'm sure there are a bunch of Europeans who would be able to take over a morning-shift of auth (like myself who has nothing better to do early morning) to get things like these to a minimum; As can blatently be seen, this is what happens on almost a daily basis. The timestamp also shows that it's 1:19 PM in the last screenshot, which would be 7:19 AM EST / 4:19 AM PST meaning nobody would be awake. There's 1 member of auth on, who happened to be afk, despite being PM'd by myself and B. Guardian about the entire incident. Again, my suggestion is to get "super rank" users of some sort, to at least be able to mute/kick these kind of people and instantly hush the entire thing, or to screen some people to take an "auth-test" or something. Whatever the solution may be, I hope it's one worthwhile. ~Dashie
  15. Stop right there with all your statements about Lucario. Lucario is a goddamn god in-game, it does NOT need Ice Punch whatsoever. Not only that, Ice Punch isn't even commonly used in the OU metagame. Close Combat..? Really..? Lucario gets Force Palm which is more then enough in-game. And if you really wanted Close Combat, I'm pretty sure you can get it with a Heart Scale, along with Aura Sphere, ExtremeSpeed and Dragon Pulse. Or just level Lucario to 55 to make it learn Close Combat. You don't specifically need Nasty Plot either. If you're gonna breed a Lucario, you might as well breed it with Blaze Kick off a Blaziken and make it physical with Swords Dance through level-up. Your statements are completely uncalled for, Lucario is a powerhouse and does not deserve anything else that could power it up even further. It has an extremely large variety of moves, both through breeding and levelup, even re-learning moves. Just no. No. No.
  16. Alternatively, you can get Pumpkaboo in the Beryl Cemetary as well if you picked up the Soul Candle just south of the old Yureyu power plant (Shade's gym). Aside from that, I would have to recommend a Gardevoir or maybe even a Swoobat/Noibat (if you can deal with low stats for Noibat). Don't be afraid to stock up on potions either.
  17. I've seen so many of these kind of things in the PO chats. Hell, I've been personally attacked for being a "brony", I just shrug it off and continue on. Edgy is right though, that sorta stuff just crosses the line. It's an online game for Pete's sake, you have your typical assholes and whatnot, you deal with them or you don't. Edit; This sorta shit happens when there's no auth around during early hours;
  18. Holy crap, I need to stop doing this at 1-2 AM, but update 14 is live! http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=8017

  19. Update 14 is alive anddddd kickin'! 4/23/2014 Note14: Lapis Ward complete! From where yesterday's note left off, I've continued and written the remainder of what can be done in the Lapis Ward up until defeating Shelly. Made note of the Grand Stairway grinding area, as well as the Rock Smash TM that can easily be missed! Shelly's line-up is now 100% accurate, moves and items are as they should be, tips and strategies are also included! Didn't post this in the notepad section, but I've also added the encounter list for the Grand Stairway, including the event Pokémon, Lunatone and Solrock. Next update will feature new areas now accessible with Rock Smash, will include the Mining Kit Hiker as well, very important to point this out! If anyone knows where I can find a list of items you can obtain through Mining, I'd really appreciate it through PM or a reply. Happy reading everyone!
  20. This turned out to be correct, thanks! Edited and fixed, I forgot to add that part in. I need to stop working at the guide at random times.. Like- 1 AM.. 2 AM.. >>; Thanks Mikz, added that to its list of movesets!
  21. Anddddddddd. Lost to Aya once again. >>; This time was even worse compared to yesterday.

  22. Update 13 is a go! Tomorrow's update will feature the remainder of the Lapis Ward storyline and the event that follows in the storyline! http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=8017

  23. That's just it, the guide would have empty slots (imo) if things aren't explained into further detail. This is my opinion though. n__n That being said; Update 13 is complete: Guide now reads up to the point the player is required to go to the orphanage, Team Aqua/Magma gang events that are currently available are in as well, also added the missing question in Florinia's gym regarding Chubchoo. Tomorrow's update will feature the rest of the Lapis Ward, including Shelly's (98% complete) team/line-up! If there's anyone out there who has the following information on Shelly's line-up regarding the following Pokémon; I'm missing 3 moves on 3 of her Pokémon! I'd really appreciate if someone could help and figure out the 4th move on the following Pokémon; Dwebble - Currently known moves: Rock Slide / Bug Bite / Stealth Rock -> Assuming 4th move is Struggle Bug, would like confirmation! Volbeat - Currently known moves: Tail Glow / Struggle Bug / Confuse Ray -> 4th move unknown Masquerain - Currently known moves: Bubblebeam / Icy Wind / Struggle Bug -> 4th move unknown, I think it's Roost- But I'm not sure. Happy reading!
