"Pancakes? But isn't that usually a breakfast food and not dinner?"

To say Baldur was surprised to me smacked and then immediately lectured would be an understatement. His eyes widened before putting his hand on the place he was smacked. The butler visibly winced and leaned back slightly at every emphasis the tiny archer had made. "B-but..." He stopped himself from trying to rebuttal any further. "... Yes ma'am..." He spoke sounding a bit defeated. . . . Though he did feel a bit better... as strange as that might be.

"Its precisely because I wasn't prepared that everything happened. If I only considered everything before letting my emotions get to me and jumping at Famine maybe things could have gone differently. If I was stronger I could have freed myself from Death's grip. If I was more adept with my staff I could get rid of your scar. When it matters most, I can't protect anyone. Let alone myself. Then the people I care for get hurt... or worse..." He clenches his teeth and his cheeks turn a shade pinker as he tries to bottle of a torrent of repressed emotions but he couldn't stop himself from continui

The butler felt a bit off put by the laughter. She thought this was funny? His eyes drifted away once more as to avoid looking her in the eyes, "But... My only purpose here is to protect everyone and I failed in that purpose that night in quite the grand fashion. How could you not hold resentment for one who could not fulfill their one simple task? I am... not worth forgiving..."

Greek FEF: Part I - Underworld's Ascent

Automated Movement Ignacio to J5 [Enemy Phase] "If you wish to have a taste of my full might very well. However, do not blame me for what happens." The Minotaur raises his axe in preparation. Asterios attacks Aristotle Beneath his feet Aristotle would feel great tremors before a geyser of magma spouts underneath him engulfing the man in flames. However, through his sheer will power he manages to maintain his form but unable to stay on his feet as he falls to the ground. The bull puffs without saying another word to the warrior as he clangs to the ground. -
"Please, there is hardly anything to be thanking me for. I am simply following up on the promises I've made. That is maintaining the well being of the members of Virtuous as well as a direct order from Kane that no harm should come to her under our care. Though, I do agree it takes a great amount of courage to do what she did. Which I can respect enough to give her the benefit of the doubt for now." The topic then changed to the rest of the Icons of Sin and Baldur's face quickly turned to a grimace. Occasionally his eye would drift to focus on the scar on the apothecary's face.

Greek FEF: Part I - Underworld's Ascent

"ALLLRIIIGHT! LETS DO THIS!" Argos said with a fist pump before weaving his way to the front! The boy held his sword out before spinning like a tornado towards the skeleton. He may have been spinning fast but not moving towards his enemy fast enough to get more than one hit in. As the metal blade smashes into the bonefiend, its body parts fly everywhere. "Heh heeeeh! Nice job Aya!" The prince said holding his hand up for a high five. However, meanwhile the body parts begin to float back to where the skeleton was standing previously and reform back together! -
Coming into this confrontation with only the worst of expectations he did not expect this. "C-cute." He did not expect to find that brief instant of a smile from Lucy to be that adorable. It took him a couple of seconds to realize Pestilence asked a question. "Uhhh... y-yes we should. I don’t have anything further to ask."

Baldur let out a long sigh of relief. If there was anything he could relate to Ferdy with, it was having a hard time working with anyone who was involved with their respective gruesome incident. "Ah ha ha ha... so you don’t know. I suppose I’ll just have to get more information from Famine himself then. Look at me getting all worked up over nothing..." A weight seemed lifted off the butler’s shoulders. "Thank you either way. I really do appreciate what you’ve told me. I know it must be tough for you to be here so if you need anything feel free to ask me. Whether it be a hot cup

"Very well, come with me outside then." He led the way out the back and just a little ways from the base. Enough to be out of earshot. It takes in a deep breath before asking the big one, "Who among the Icons of Sin, if any, was involved of the poisoning of House Valdis of Perus? I can pretty much surmise Famine crafted the poison but I do not know if he was the one who planted it or if it was a third party. Would you or your brother happen to be involved in that?"

Baldur takes note of Lucy’s reaction when Mim steps in. The girl does seem to be a calming presence for the mage. He hesitates for a moment, "...That-That’s fine. May even be for the best anyways. Just please don’t mention anything that is asked to anyone else. It’s a very personal matter. I haven’t even told it to Kane."

"I... I understand if you can’t right now but I-I can’t express myself enough how important this is for me to know. So... please..." Baldur wrapped his right arm across his chest, grabbing his left arm while his head drifted off to the side and leaning towards the ground.

After finishing helping Shin with his laundry and bringing his ragged cape into his room, Baldur went searching for Pestilence. There’s a sharp determination in his eyes as he scours the house. When locked onto the butler approached the frightened mage, "I know you must be still on edge from this morning but there is something I must ask you in private. I doubt I’ll be able to get even a wink of sleep were I left these gnawing in my mind until tomorrow. It’ll only take a couple minutes I promise." His tone was calm yet firm as to not put her anymore on edge.

The tiny bee girl was clammed up and distant for the rest of the journey to Scholars' University. However, once inside the city her whole demeanor change to one of awe. She was able to look past the trauma of the days prior just to bask in her dreams. Pretty much ignoring everyone else's introductions her eyes immediately locked on to the most prominent individual here. She ran up to the blue cloaked hornet with much enthusiasm in her demeanor, "Yes, Hello Brilliant Deduction! I am Stardust, a bee hailing from the Sunflower Hive! I must say the Scholars' University was everything of which I d- 180 replies

Vlassis is restored to full HP with the Succubus' touch! (21/21) Aristotle restores 10 HP with the Vulnerary! (16/22) The Vulnerary runs out of uses... "Tenacity?" The Bull puffs, almost seems like he's amused by all of this. "Many humans came to my labyrinth seeking to kill me. All boasting about their strength, speed, and other such things drivel. Out of all of them, only one could back up their claims and most couldn't even knock me off balance. But Tenacity? Ha! That's a first." Slamming his axe into the ground he sent tremors across the area which would s -

The bee stares at him in disbelief for a bit. He's done something even her own brother never once has done for her. Though, I suppose that's not a real high bar top. She looks down at the ground beneath her, "Well... t-thank you... I appreciate it..." She doesn't say much more than that before using whatever clean parts of her arm were left to wipe off her face. She noted that last part he said but now is not the best time to be digging into that. Besides, She doubts she'll see any more of him once they get to their destination and she becomes a scholar. Best to not get too attached.- 180 replies

The bee didn't notice the Ant's presence until he placed his hand on hers to which she opened her eyes once more and looked at him through tear soaked vision, "I... *sniff* he... *hic* it-it hurts..." There was clear mental and physical exhaustion in her voice with a bit of scratchiness in it as well. This ordeal would take its tole on anyone let alone someone in the equivalent of their mid-teens. The bard actually find little resistance from her end as she had barely any energy to weep let alone flail about. She was surprised when the flute boy placed medicine on her wound- 180 replies

Time seemed to move at increased speed for the last moments of the battle. The tiny bee's peripheral vision blurred out and only the things she made direct eye contact with even processed through her mind. Suddenly something crashed down onto her shoulder but surprisingly no pain followed. The next second she looked down and the man with the axe was lying on the ground with a singed chest. Placing her free arm on where the pain was located she was surprised to feel something warm and wet. Turning her head to the side a wave of dread thumped through her body as the color of red was all over her- 180 replies

Baldur heard the loud crash echo from inside. Did Shin really screw up that badly getting a simple soap bottle? He got to his feet before the now panicked archer stumbles his way out. "B-BALDUR! T-THERE'S- TH-..SOMETHINGS WRONG!" "W-what?" Somethings got the man quite spooked, but what exactly? He couldn't even imagine what he was about to walk into and he quickly ran towards the door and towards where everyone had gathered to see not only Pestilence but also Ferdinand with his blade drawn and implanted right next to Lizaveta. "Fer-... K-knight! What in the bloody he

Shaking in her shoes Stardust meanwhile had wrapped herself completely within a blade of grass trying to hide herself. Cowering once more for the fear of death only intensified with the fall of her brother. If a meat bag like him fell what chance did she have anyways? Then she saw Lotus shoot the man with two arrows like it was nothing. M-maybe she could actually help... no that stupid! She's stupid for evening wanting to come! However, before the bug knew it her arm was raised and her magic charged finger tip pointed at ant. Full of panic, her body acted on its own before. . . . P- 180 replies

"OH DO YA!?" Baldur resisted the urge to furiously shove Shin's incompetent head into the water of the basin. It was a difficult task but he somehow managed it, "Just... go get some soap from inside. There should be soap in the pantry..." He grumbles before going into a sigh. This man really is hopeless isn't he?
