Under The Hill [OOC/Sign-Ups]
Zephyrus the Priestess replied to Notus's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
damn Ty, that's a cool power ... I want to be like Elizabeth Comstock lol. Maybe like, a little girl version. Maybe with a Creepy Child siding if I can pull it off... Character Name: Enya Gillespie Appearance: 4 feet, pretty much. Pale skin, icy blue eyes. Round face framed by shoulder-length black hair. She wears a grey dress with a pink bow at her collar and a fading brown leather jacket that seems to be too big for her hanging on her shoulders. She drags a big, tan teddy bear with only one button eye whom she calls "Ace" around. Age: 10 Personality Overview: Silent, but cheery when you talk to her... And she will tend to say things that may be inappropriate, or unnerving even, at times. She is in almost every way like a quiet little girl with a happy demeanor. When provoked, however... Backstory: Nothing much is to be told-- let alone found-- about this strange child. She appeared in town, wandering about for a week and finally through the gates of the complex. Those who witnessed this say that she danced with her bear, swinging it around joyfully, singing a nursery rhyme-esque tune. They say, however, that the words she sang were eerily reminiscent of an event wherein nearly an entire populace was struck down by a widespread disease... Ability/Cost: Enya can alter reality in a way by "ripping open" fabrics of space to bring something from a parallel dimension to this world. It can be anything-- a fork, or even a huge landmark like the Notre Dame. She can also use this ability to travel in between dimensions, into alternate realities. However, ripping space and time apart can take a heavy toll on her little body, depending on what the object is. Effects may range from nausea to even passing out for a long period of time, causing the "tears" to close, taking away whatever she had brought into this plane of existence as well. She can only hold open a tear for so long as well-- simple objects give her no trouble at all, but more complex objects, such as a moving train, a living object of a large scale(like say, an elephant) can be conjured only for a matter of minutes. However she prefers not to utilize this ability too much, and mostly for her own amusement, being a child still. Gear: She stows a picture book of some sort and, for some strange reason, a meat cleaver, inside Ace, who has a zipper in its back. I have a feeling that the ability may be a little too OP cause Elizabeth lul.- 1735 replies

Houndoom yowled in pain as the water sprayed it in the face, but once the deluge was over, it snarled at the Oshawott vehemently. Its fur bristled as it prepared to pounce upon the otter-like Pokemon, its fangs beginning to drip excessively with what looked like venom, when.. "Oi, Houndoom--" Zephyr started, then cut off abruptly. There was a sudden, somewhat uneasy silence as she took in the scene. Yes, Houndoom had paused in dripping venom from his bared fangs awaiting his Trainer's command to attack, but she had noticed instead that it was attacking an Oshawott. A water Pokemon. Then she lifted her head and finally took notice of what looked like a Trainer, too, with a Togepi and a Gardevoir. She looked at the Trainer steadily. "All right, I'll assume you came from this forest or something, cause I haven't seen you in my turf. Ever. But I'm not leaving without this Oshawott." Her eyes had taken on a glint of slight hostility. Umbreon stood by her side, haunches poised as if awaiting a command. For all she knew, this guy was as bad as those bastards back at the Base. It was true-- they did need a Water Pokemon. Why the hell the Boss didn't want to journey out of the barren wasteland, she didn't know... But she would rather take whatever Pokemon she could find with her. It was the only way she trusted that they would be safe. Screw humans, that's why.

I was planning to somehow have Zephyr meet up with you folks anyway lul. I'll go with it but from this point on I'd like to have control over Houndoom too(until somebody decides to take up Houndoom or even my Umbreon as a PC)

Another hour-- hour, it felt; Zephyr couldn't really tell. The sky didn't seem to be getting any darker or brighter for that matter. Dagnabbit all, if only she hadn't accidentally left her watch behind. They seemed to have reached the peak of this particular hill, which appeared to be covered in a thick forest of some sort towards its foot. Not too far away loomed even more mountains, and an even taller one, surpassing its neighbors majestically-- balefully, even, for some reason. Meh, thought Zephyr. It didn't quite interest her too much. It's not like nothing disturbing had ever happened. Houndoom's head lifted abruptly as if it had been disturbed by something, its snout and keen eyes pointed down towards the alternating gentle and steep downhill slope. "Heh, is something wrong?" Zephyr asked, in a flat tone. Maybe walking wasn't such a great idea. It'd been really, really boring, not having found anything worthy of note just yet. The canine stood still as if trying to focus in on something; even its pointed tail seemed frozen in the air. Then it growled and began running down the hill. Both Trainer and Umbreon locked eyes for a moment and followed the sprinting hound.

All of a sudden, the half-elf was knocked down by what looked like a big blur of black-grey fur that began licking her face excitedly. It was.. It was.. "Hunter!" she squealed in delight, in surprising high that her voice reached. Her arms wrapped themselves around the huge neck of her loyal and jubilant friend and began scratching him all over where her hands could reach. In no time, she wrestled the wolf playfully, laughing happily, just so ecstatic about having Hunter back and knowing he was well.

Helzebeth merely nodded, and looked down with a sort of softened glance at the dwarf. It was a little bit disconcerting when she realized for the second time in a while that he was, well, about half or less of her height-- for one of a short stature, he had quite a presence and a heart that made up for it. It also surprised her that a dwarf could come to trust even a half-elf like her so easily, especially with part of his son's ashes. But that aside, yes, Hunter... She looked around. Wasn't I standing on a high place... with a tower of some sort...?

It took Helzebeth a long moment to register what she'd just learned and heard. One instant she felt relief surge through her soul after a moment of disbelief. Then came the awful revelation of the dwarf-son's fate-- she was sent back into shock again, barely feeling the dwarf-father who'd just tried to console her now practically fall apart, clinging to her for support. Almost mechanically, she pulled the grieving father into an embrace, before, once more, realizing what had happened. Helzebeth could barely think at this point-- she was reeling from all the sudden emotions that she experienced. It was a little too much stimuli for the young lass, who normally bore a nonchalant and stubborn facade. All she could do was to squeeze her eyes shut and hug the poor man tightly, the emotion of sympathy overriding, for the most part and for the time being, any other emotions. Right now her heart went out to this dwarf and disregarded all else.

"Hunter..?!" came a strangled cry from not too far away. Helzebeth darted around the plane of colors, clearly distressed, seemingly afraid even. For once she seemed to not care how the others would react to her, let alone think of her conduct. The wolf was her only other friend, the only other living being other than Nature herself that she trusted. Moreover, Hunter used to be her father's companion; that given, it was as if she found both a part of her beloved father and a dear friend in him. She whirled around, and as if finally noticing the Deity of Light, she gaped for a few seconds... Before running to the goddess in confusion and agony both, not seeming to feel any of the peace at all. "O, Radiant Goddess! Where is... What is..." The half-elf seemed to choke on her words, her eyes like two grey moons, and her skin seemingly paler even in the golden rays of light.
